Friendly staff with no issues.
Rooms are above a pub and Tuesday is quiz night so there is background noise but once it closes its all quiet after. Room could do with a proper desk to sit at or work at.

Good stay, bad shower
Everything was good apart from using the shower in the morning, it ran far too hot, there must be something wrong with the unit

Fantastic staff and service
Place is fine, nothing fancy but fit for purpose. The staff / service on the other hand is fantastic! They allowed me a very late check out as i had some work to do and needed the space and also gave me the details for the staff wifi as the signal was not great on the guest one. Nothing was too much bother and they really look after you. Will def be going back next time I am in the area

Fabulous Homely Pub with Rooms
Had a really good stay. The pub itself has a lovely feel to it - we didn't eat here but the food looked good. Was pleasantly surprised with the room - it was perfect for what we wanted. The bed was huge!
Location was easy to find - would definitely stay here again.

Great stay, great pub with great vibes!
Really comfortable room, staff at the bar were lovely although we never needed any Healy and were quite self sufficient. Rooms were newly decorated and the beds were great! Couple of issues, the shower head in the Brunel room was leaky (not to the point of it being a major issue) and we think there could do with being a curtain in the small bathroom window for privacy and to help keep it dark. The cold tap in the Clifton room wasn’t working. Overall the stay was great though.
One word of warning, the bar downstairs is noisy till about 11pm. It didn’t bother us as we really enjoyed using the beer garden ourselves (food at the pub is great too!) but if you are sensitive about noise you need to be aware of it

Great place just a little small
Great pub, lovely staff, clean, tidy, friendly welcoming place. We stayed in the twin room with private bathroom. The bathroom is allong the hall not on suite and the room, whilst fine was just a bit small with little to zero storage space.
