I highly recommend the Stories Hotel in Budapest! When I first reserved it, I didn’t realize it shared the space with the beautiful TwentySix restaurant, which later was a big plus! I was travelling with my parents and what I liked was that the room we stayed in offered the space for 3 people! That was something I could not find in other hotels in the city. We really enjoyed the cool aesthetics of the hotel, and with our purchase, the breakfast at TwentySix was included in the price, which was kind and also the breakfast is very delicious! One minor thing was, we had arrived a bit early before check in and had hoped to check into our room earlier, but that wasn’t possible, which is understandable. The next day as we were on a tour for the majority of the morning and afternoon, we had come back to our room to rest and relax a bit, but the room was not cleaned, to the point we just asked for clean towels instead. Apart from those minor things, I would stay there again! Another plus, it was close to a lot of places for visit! 🤗

My favorite stay during a 20 days trip in four different countries in Europe! The staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. The hotel itself was fantastic, from decor to location to amenities, cleanliness and comfort. Would 100% come back again!

Great location and venue. The room was modern and had a very charming and unique design. The attention to detail was great and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was amazing and set in a beautiful decor.

Very good location. The duplex apartments are very complete. There is some noise on the street at night. The hotel restaurant is beautiful, ideal for a drink.

It's not too far from the center, the staff is friendly, the room is clean, and the price is good. The building next door is under construction, so it looks a little gloomy at night, but there are usually a lot of people passing by so it's not scary.

The location of the hotel is great, and the subway is just a five-minute walk away. The overall layout is similar to a loft. Below is the sofa TV and above is the bed. Very large space

Is this hotel ok?

We stayed in the Presidential Suite which consists of three floors and the largest suite in the hotel. First impression of the hotel was great; fantastic location, cool vibe, helpful staff at reception. The disappointment came when we got to the suite; as we walked in the entrance carpet was soaking wet (squishy noise when you walked on it and whole suite smelt damp) and general cleanliness was not what I expected for the “best room type” of the hotel. Bedding and bathrooms cleaned , no issues there, but the general furniture and doors not cleaned and general areas not cleaned as we found old biscuit by the tv and finger prints all over the doors and the mirrored cupboards, cracked light fittings and stained furniture. We reported the smell and the wet floor straight away, we were told the guests before us left the floor that way but they should have moved us to a different room or at least told us before we walked in so we would be aware there was issues with the room. The smell was still there when we left 4 days later. We also had other issues as the days passed; lights flickering, velux blinds not closing. This was looked at but not fixed!! When we talked to staff they listened but didn’t seem to be keen to fix the problems. Over all, we were disappointed with the suite as we booked as a treat and it turned out to be below general hotel standards. I would recommend this hotel for the location if it is the right price but don’t go if you are expecting 4 star hotel standards.

Excellent service, very friendly and helpfull staff, atmosphere was a blast because of the cafe downstairs! I can’t eait to come back, it’s the best spot to stay when you go to Budapest! ✨✨✨✨✨ Another thing is the quarter where’s situated as it has a super nice nightlife and is packed with all kind of bars and galleries and pretty streets! 🎉🤍

Located nearby the main attractions and busy entertainment & dining streets & convenient stores. Friendly and efficient staff. Delicious restaurant with amazing glass roof. Our loft suite was more than spacious for 2 under the roof with automated blinds. Great bathroom with huge rain shower & all amenities. Downside: The entrance door was quite hard to close from the outside (you have to bang it very loud, so do the neighbors) and the metallic stairs were quite noisy. But overall stay was amazing… will definitely come back again

The hotel had a really fun vibe and is in a great location! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean. We really loved the restaurant downstairs as well. The only downside was the air conditioning didn’t push air upstairs very well in our suite and it got a little warm at night.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and has an excellent complimentary coffee machine in the reception which was very much appreciated. The room was very clean and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a busy street which didn’t bother us but there is a noise of an evening. Location wise it’s great, everywhere is easily walkable as it’s in a popular area of the city. Would stay here again!
