That was an awful night.
I fell asleep at 1 am, but at 2 am some guy just came in. He entered the wrong password several times, which woke me up. I tried to fall asleep again, but I couldn’t because the guy plugged and unplugged his charger five (!!!) times until I asked him to stop.
Then he took out a plastic bag and started making noises with it. Am I right in thinking that if the hostel rules say 'Please be quiet after midnight,' it means if you come in, you sleep?
And he didn't even stop there. He started using his phone with the volume turned on. Why should I have to ask other people to be quiet at night?
In the end, I fell asleep at 4 am and missed waking up at 7 am for an early trip to a new city.
I told the whole story to the owner of the place, and he just said, 'I'm sorry.' I asked for some form of compensation, but he said that his rules have no value and advised me to write about it here.
I can't express how angry I am. I want my money back or a significant discount, but honestly, I just want my time back. That place ruined my plans for the trip.
