The hotel is very central to the Palapas park and has good restaurant connections on the ground floor of the hotel complex. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The Mayan atmosphere is a very elegant touch for tourists and I think that is a valuable attraction. The only thing that needs to be improved is the material in the rooms, such as a flat screen TV (without DTT mechanisms). Investment needs to be made to modernise the shower, bathroom and furniture.

The room is clean and beautiful. It is larger than other hotel rooms. The Mayan cultural theme is more creative. I am very satisfied~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The air conditioner only has cold air, and all toiletries are not available, and the sound insulation is poor

From the photos, we thought it would be a little more modern or current.

Room changed, broken tiles and mold smell. Staff tired and unhelpful.

The hotel looks good with its Mayan theme the only thing I did not like is that the chambermaids do not respect one's privacy And the rooms will open if no consent of the guest

As a solo traveler who loves Mexico, of course I choose this destination for my March birthday. However, I’m not a fan of the Match party scene so this just fits the bill. Likes #1 reason was the spa. I’ve been to over 500 spas so when I say it was top notch I mean just top of the line. Professional and relaxing. #2- As a solo traveler I don’t want yo pay a huge price ie Hotel Zone. I don’t mind spending 12 pesos to go down there. Which I rarely did. Dislikes Internet - WiFi isn’t the greatest but he’ll you are vacay, Disconnect. Rooms could use a deep clean but where you lay your head at night was clean and safe and that’s all that matters . Thanks Hotel X. I hope to return.

Hotel quite noisy from the bar next door until late!! The whole hotel needs abit of an update decor wise, it is very dark and dated. Otherwise the beds were comfortable for a one night stay in Cancun. Wouldn't be rushing back to here anytime soon

I looked at the revues before booking this hotel and thought wow, value for money. But no. Ok, the hotel looks beautiful, it's decorated in Maya style and the bed was good. But then: a lot of noise inside and outside the hotel. Wifi, as stated only in the public areas, but nevertheless of a bad quality. And on the other hand: which hotel that pretends to be this special is that lousy with internet nowadays. You have to sign a form that you won't take the towels from the room to the pool. However, when you ask for a towel there are none!! 2 restaurants which are barely open. At least not after 8 pm. Breakfast: if you want tea, because you don't drink coffee, you can only get camomille tea. They do have other flavours, but then you have to pay for it. Really??? By the way: beautiful picture of the swimming pool. But in reality there is barely any sun to find around the pool. And the beach is further away than mentioned. You have to take a bus.

The only reason why this was 'okay' is the friendly staff in the hotel. The location to get to places is fine - but the noise from the bar below is SO loud. This doesn't finish until 12am (if you're at the front of the hotel). The rooms were very dated - it felt like you were in a scene of the Flintstones with Beetlejuice decor vibes. If you're looking for a 1 night pitstop in Cancun this is fine, but just don't stay for too long!

We really enjoyed this hotel, but one night we experience bites from some bugs in our bed. It was hard to tell what kind of bug it was. We changed rooms, and asked for a partial refund, but have yet to hear back. Other than that, our stay was fine

Unfriendly reception asked us to sign a list of rules (e.g. “don’t steal the towels”). We were given a small dorm-type room the first night instead of the suite we reserved because they had overbooked the suites and not given any partial refund (so, charged for a suite anyway). Our room was above a bar with loud rock music playing till after midnight. The free breakfast was limited to eggs and ham and coffee. Anything else was not included. The pool is cordoned off with police tape after 8 PM. The hotel is located in an unimpressive part of town. Next time going to do the actual resort experience. Saving some money was not worth it.
