Cet hôtel est très agréable, à la fois compte tenu du personnel accueillant et prévenant, mais aussi car les chambres sont très bien aménagées, grandes et confortables. Le design est audacieux, avec une originalité dans l'ambiance et la disposition. La douche est un tube de 1.2 mètres de diamètre, placée en plein milieu de la pièce. Il est vrai que l'accès à l'évier et à la baignoire n'est pas optimum, mais il y a un effet WAOUH. Le lit placé face à l'énorme baie vitrée permet un sentiment d'être quasiment dehors. Suivant l'emplacement de la chambre la vue est belle sur Table Mountain Au niveau de l'insonorisation c'est très calme. Coté petit déjeuner, c'est plutôt bon, avec la possibilité de se faire servir une omelette (avec plein d'ingrédients si on le désire) cuisinée devant vous, ou d'obtenir des oeufs au plat ou oeufs brouillés. Puis bien sur tout ce qu'il faut pour un petit déjeuner continental. Le personnel veille toujours à ce que tout soit parfait. Pour finir vous êtes sur Canal Walk, donc tous les magasins sont à proximité (Grand Centre Commercial à 250 mètres) mais vous pouvez aussi vous balader le long du canal, ou bien aller prendre un verre sur les quelques terrasses autour. Il y a un espace Piscine surplombant l'hôtel ainsi qu'un espace Spa, pour ceux qui le souhaitent.

Hajo and staff were amazing and accommodation throughout. Always diligent and pro-active for timelines and plans. Rooms were nice and clean. In general it is a bit more outside of the city, which in turn also means that it is quiet and safe. There is also a mall 3min away by foot and it has got everything you need. It might do well with an inverter for load shedding, but to be fair we were also experiencing an unusual frequency, so it was more noticeable than it would be normally.

The common area has a very nice view of the river. The most peaceful beach of Capetown is in walking distance. I left The Grand Blue D with a heavy heart. Needless to say this was a much needed breakaway and this establishment did not disappoint. On arrival I was welcomed by Ellen and escorted straight to my room . From the moment I arrive I could sense the peace and tranquility this place had to offer. The room was crisp and modern and I could not wait to just soak in the tub and lay my head down. An added welcome by the host was much appreciated and the little Yorkie named Jordan was indeed good company. My two day stay was most enjoyable . I would recommend this place if you need to rejuvenate and reconnect . Thank you

Excellent in every way. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get. Wonderful stay, very impressed and would definitely use again as my first choice if in Cape Town. Excellent location with Mall 5 minute walk away and town, waterfront, Plumstead all only £5 taxi ride away (working on 22 ZAR to £) Thank you once more would highly recommend.

We had wonderful days at South Breeze, a small cozy guest house. The warm hosts Thelma and Ronny did everything to make us feel comfortable. The rooms are tastefully and comfortably furnished and have large bathrooms and air conditioning. The good breakfast included in the room price is not a standard buffet as is so often the case, but is served in the morning in the breakfast room using a small breakfast menu. Just great. The guest house has a small courtyard with a pool and a barbecue, which the host is happy to help with. I can recommend the guest house without reservation. The journey time to the city center is about 20 minutes, to the airport it is 25 minutes. The walk to the beach is about 200m. There is free parking in the courtyard.
