Amara Hotel Chandigarh

Nice room, v good parking space. Hotel has maintained sanitation, rooms were clean, decent staff. Recommended for family.

We reached at 2 pm and even thought our room was not ready. And on phone they said we can come anytime after 11 and our room is available. On reception there was a person who lied to us that the room he is providing is Regal but actually it was Era. Washroom Odour was not tolerable. We waiting for approx on hour and then moved out as we can’t stay at that room more. Floor are bulging out and odour made us uncomfortable. We finally got our room and our stuff shifted to other room which we booked when we were not at hotel.although they informed us when we were leaving the hotel that they might do it but I was expecting a call. Cockroach’s were at the breakfast counter and roaming on the bread butter plate Shower not working properly and we were there for 2 days and more then 3 people came but no one able to fix it and staff said they will change our room if they can not fix it but they did not In the mid night at 12 we found a big rat on ceiling. Staff also saw but unable to get rid of that. They don’t have any other room. Staff on site tried calling multiple other management person but he said no one picking his call.So left the hotel after doing complete payment in mid night.

Staff try’s to help as much as possible. Breakfast in the morning and room service everyday. There is no need to ask. Very good for the price, good AC, internet, hot water, bar on first floor. all good for a quick stay. They also have food service which is great if your want to stay in.
