Small, ultra-friendly hotel which punched well above its expected weight. For a very reasonable price, we got an excellently comfortable double room with a decent shower ensuite. The breakfast was superb (we had the full English) and the owners and staff were so friendly. I confess to liking my beer and there was a great choice of well-kept ales that we both dived into, when we were exhausted from exploring Chester.

What a unique and wonderful stay we had at the Golden Eagle. Rooms are above the pub (but we had no noise issues). The room and bed we comfortable, the breakfast was really good, and the conversations with the bartender, the owner, and the waitstaff were great. Nice people in a quite location just off a main road through Chester. Stay here!

Loved our stay, we was in room 1. Super comfy bed, room was lovely and clean really enjoyed the decor, en suite was lovely and spacious. Lots of tea/coffees and toiletries. Plenty of fresh clean towels. Staff were so kind and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure I had something vegan for breakfast too❤️ such a great b&b, fab location, whenever we stay In Chester this will always be our go to now. Thankyou so much for a fabulous stay.
