Maladee Rendezvous Hotel Chiang Mai

Lovely facility just steps from the heart of town. We had only one night there but wished we had booked it for the other. Staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help us find activity in the countryside that we could undertake without participation in a group tour. Even went so far as to type up notes on a full page of paper with suggestions for activity as well as local coffee shops along the way in the countryside for us. Room was fantastic overlooking the pool with all amenities and even a pillow menu to choose from. Parking immediately below the hotel and simply a beautiful pool, hot tub, courtyard, and bar within the center of the hotel. The place has an interesting history and story stemming from the owner's family line. Again, great location for night market, restaurants, and access along the river. Great facility and great staff - highly recommended.
The Empress Premier Chiang Mai

A big spot in my sheet, I guess they have not cleaned or changed before my checkin. I arrive one hour earlier but they still arrange a room for me. The drain in bathroom is a nightmare. They charged me 1000 for late check out (5pm).
Ping Nakara Boutique Hotel and Spa

Night Bazaar Area
This unique boutique hotel was lovely in terms of layout, style and elegance. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast included was most adequate. The spa was extraordinarily great value for money, and I would highly recommend having a massage and facial, as it was truly a divine experience. The rooms were well appointed, and look just like the photos online. As it was very hot at the time of year we were there, the air con was greatly welcomed. The big minus for the hotel was the reception experience. On arrival there was general confusion about our booking, the ladies were in the backroom the whole time, and it was difficult to get input on what to do, or where to go. There just seemed constant confusion and a lack of energy at reception overall. There was a lack of local knowledge or guidance, and I expected some really great insights on local restaurants or adventures such as cooking schools etc, but it was not forthcoming. Just a minor thought, but the hotel clothing of the staff also missed a beat. Everyone was in tired looking grey polo shirts. A minor point, but for such a lovely hotel, I thought there could be something more fitting/traditional for the team to wear. Finally the old mercedes was a hoot. Loved being driven to the airport in it. Added to the adventure.
RatiLanna Riverside Spa Resort

Rati Lanna Riverside Spa Resort in Chiang Mai is an absolute gem. From the moment you step foot onto the property, you are surrounded by beauty, luxury, and tranquility. This resort truly has it all. The rooms at Rati Lanna are beautifully appointed, with a tasteful blend of modern and traditional decor. The beds are extremely comfortable. The resort's facilities are also impressive. The infinity pool is breathtaking, with a view over the river. The resort has a restaurant serving delicious Thai and international cuisine, with the highest quality ingredients and impeccable presentation. The breakfast buffet is particularly impressive, with a wide selection of dishes to suit all tastes. But what truly sets Rati Lanna apart is its exceptional service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests have an unforgettable stay. Overall, I cannot recommend Rati Lanna Riverside Spa Resort in Chiang Mai highly enough. It is a true oasis of luxury, comfort, and relaxation, and the perfect base for exploring the beauty and culture of Chiang Mai and northern Thailand.
Anantara Chiang Mai Resort

I'm back at this amazing Chiang Mai resort for the fourth time! When I'm in Chiang Mai, Anantara Resort is my number one pick for ”a place to stay”. No matter if I'm here on business or for fun, this place never disappoints. It's right on the Ping River. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and best of all, all rooms have amazing river views! Breakfast here is one of the best in town (in my opinion), and there's a variety of Western and Thai options. Their Lanna Omelet is so good. Try their signature Lanna omelet if you want a taste of fusion-style northern food. This is a great place to stay if you're looking for a weekend getaway or a delightful business trip in Chiang Mai. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in Chiang Mai next time. Stella job!
