Before setting off, I was still dubious when I saw that Solan House had such a high rating. When you arrived and saw the proprietress, you immediately understood. She is very polite and kind, and you can feel that she is really interacting with the guests. This hotel is more like a B&B, without that much of a commercial feel. The room is large and has enough space to move around. The cleaning sister was very clean and put all our groceries very neatly when tidying up the room. The location of the hotel is also very good, not far from the center of the ancient city.

I took my parents to stay there in 2018 and it was a great trip. This time I took my husband there. The lady boss was pretty and nice, and very hospitable. I hope this B&B will stay open. Come back later!

I stayed at this hotel in October 2019. This year, I chose this hotel after choosing from various platforms. I saw the calico cat again, super cute. The courtyard is decorated very freshly, with many green plants, flowers and decorations. The room is more Thai-style and has a fragrant smell. The proprietress was super nice, she greeted us warmly every time we met, and even took the initiative to take us to the airport on the last day. There is also a store clerk who greets us with a smile every time, feeds us cat bars and dog snacks, and has a great time playing with cats and dogs. You can book breakfast one day in advance. It's very cheap and about the same price as outside. When I come back from playing every day, the room will be tidy, the clothes on the bed will be folded, the data cables will be neatly tied, and the clothes racks outside will be moved to let the clothes shine in the sun. Chiang Mai is really great, the cafes are always the same every day, they are affordable, and the people are very welcoming. I really want to go there again!

When you see it, walk along it for about 10 meters, on the right hand side. During the stay at a B&B run by a family, I met the host, the hostess, their two children and their pet "Mali", also known as Jasmine. There is free airport transfer for a two-night stay. The airport transfer fee for a one-night stay is 150 yuan. The room is indeed relatively small, but it is very close to the Chengmen Night Market and many attractions are within walking distance. Overall, I am satisfied.

The hotel did not provide toothbrushes and toothpaste! But the boss and employees are very enthusiastic, and the location is pretty easy to find!
