A very clean and hygienic hotel. The family room is very suitable for a family trip.

I stayed in a two-bedroom room. The overall room was spacious and comfortable, and it was very clean. The bed was comfortable and I slept well! If I have the chance, I will stay there again. The location is also very good. You can walk to the park to enjoy the flowers.

The room is clean and tidy, the area is large enough, and you can cook, which is good

I have stayed here quite a few times before and have been very happy but after this experience NEVER AGAIN!!! There was a misunderstanding with payment a couple of hours before I got to Ashford Motor Lodge that was handled very badly by the receptionist/manager. They made me feel like a criminal and the manager ended up shouting at me that if I didn’t like it I could leave. I was really shocked and embarrassed by her behaviour. I had nowhere else to go at such short notice and I didn’t want to lose the money I had already paid so decided to stay. During my 3 nights there I received no apology from her for her behaviour. This is really no way to treat paying customers! However I decided not to allow her mean spirit to ruin my stay and really enjoyed visiting Christchurch. I will visit again but I definitely won’t be staying at the Ashford Motor Lodge!

Stayed there with family (2 adults + 3 kids). The apartment was se ton two levels, which was absolutely perfect - kids at the top floor (just up the stairs with a curtains as a wall). Specious with decent size lounge to relax , and small kitchen. We only had breakfast there and it was great with everything you need for it. Walking distance from a city centre (yes, even with kids it was not far at all), and nearby Hagley Park was great for a morning run. There are laundry facilities, bit dated, but again - did the job. Unfortunately kids didn't get to use the pool as it was closed (had cover on), but again - it wasn't a big deal for us as got other stuff planned anyway. Would highly recommend it!

This motor lodge was great value (114NS$/£60 per night). The room was really big, lots of space for all our luggage, it was clean and well stocked. There is a small kitchenette which we only used for having cold breakfast/tea. The bathroom was big and clean with a good strong, hot shower. The staff were really friendly and helpful- there was space in the reception for us to leave luggage in the morning while we were waiting to be picked up. It is close to restaurants and supermarkets. We got there easily by bus from the airport. We only stayed one night before picking up a campervan but I would definitly stay again if I was in Christchurch.

A fantastic place to stay. We stayed for 4 nighs over easter. The pwners are friendly and accommodating. The motel is clean, fresh and has everything we needed and more. Close to all amenities too. I highly recommend Ashford Motor Lodge Christchurch as an accommodation destination for small and big groups. Thank you for having us. Aroha

This unit was modern, clean and tidy. Service was excellent however bedroom was too cramped. There was a double bed and a single bed crammed into one room. No room to walk comfortably in between or through between bed and door. No room for bedside tables. Bit of a risk if you needed to get out in a hurry. Would have been much better with just a good size bed, e.g king.

Absolitely amazing accommodation. We stayed there as a bog family. The rooms were spacicious, clean and comfortable. I recommend you stay at Ashfors motor Lodge Christchurch on your next trip. The owners were qccommodatong and the amenities fabulous.

Awesome place to stay. Friendly checkin and had everything we needed. Great location by Hagley Park. Kids loved the pool. Right by the road but noise wasn't too bad but room shook when buses/trucks raced past!

A very good clean, large motel room that is within walking distance to Christchurch. Has a good size kitchenette and a comfortable bed. Close to restaurants, shops & botanic gardens. On a main road but little noise evident & has onsite parking. Highly recommended.
