"The biggest surprise of my trip to Huizhou was the Kande International Hotel – it truly is the king of value for money, perfectly balancing location, service, and price! The hotel is situated in a prime downtown location, nestled against Huizhou West Lake to the west and the Dongjiang River to the east. You can enjoy the stunning views of West Lake with just a 5-minute walk, and to the north lies the ancient Chaoyangmen Gate. Stepping out, you're immediately immersed in both natural scenery and rich culture. Getting there is super convenient too, whether by car or public transport. The Dongguan-Huizhou intercity railway provides direct access, and the highway network is easily accessible. Service is an impeccable five-star standard! The front desk staff were warm and efficient. Upon learning there were elderly people in our group, they checked in on us daily, asking about our family's needs and even thoughtfully delivering warm milk. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, starting from 42 sqm, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of both the lake and the river. The facilities are well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. What was most unexpected was the incredibly reasonable price. For just over 400 yuan, you get to stay in a five-star hotel, which also includes a lavish buffet with a wide array of Chinese, Western, and Japanese cuisine. The accompanying outdoor pool and gym facilities are also all there. It perfectly blends a high-end experience with an affordable price point, making it ideal for both business travelers and family vacations. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Huizhou!"

The night view was beautiful, and the bed was so comfortable; I slept like a baby until late morning. The breakfast was also very rich and varied."

"The location is fantastic! It's less than a 5-minute walk to the West Lake entrance, and not far from Shuidong Street and the commercial area. The room is very spacious and bright, the bedding is comfortable, and the bathroom is clean. There's a dim sum restaurant downstairs, and the hotel also offers a buffet breakfast. The TV channels are plentiful. My only minor issue was the strong scent in the hotel hallways and at the front desk; it was a bit overwhelming for me personally."

"Being close to China World Trade Center is great, and the room is nice too. You can even see Goose Bridge from the window! The control panel lights up automatically when you touch it, which is pretty cool – no fumbling around for switches. The bed guard and air purifier I requested in my message were also arranged, which was really good. Since the hotel is new and I was traveling with kids, having an air purifier gave me peace of mind. However, for families with children, I have a suggestion: if bed guards are provided, why not proactively offer other children's amenities? Maybe you have to request them, but the landline in my room seemed to be out of order. On the bright side, the air conditioning was powerful and kept us cool. The bathtub was also a hit with the kids; I brought disposable bath liners for them to play in the water… The breakfast, while not huge, was complete. My only question is, why didn't the noodle station have pho? The young man who scanned my card at breakfast was very friendly – thumbs up for him!"

"The hotel's location is actually quite good, very convenient for getting around. However, we had a bit of ”bad luck” when we arrived: the greenway was closed, and so was the gate leading to the beachfront pool. We had to put our plans to stroll around or relax by the pool on hold. The front desk told me they upgraded my room, but it turned up being in a quite remote corner, taking several minutes to walk there from the elevator. The upside is it's relatively quiet, but the downside is I ended up hitting my daily step count just by getting to and from the room. I guess I traded distance for a nice view, as the scenery outside the window was indeed quite pleasant. Overall, there weren't any major issues with the stay, but if the public areas had been open normally, the experience would have better lived up to the 'resort hotel' expectation."

"This guesthouse was an incredible value and a wonderful surprise! The facilities are complete and tasteful, and the projector TV was very convenient. The room was great, and they provided all the necessary amenities, including earplugs, electric mosquito repellent, disposable towels, and toilet seat covers, making the check-in experience super smooth. The housekeeper's customer service was professional and attentive, responding to all inquiries promptly and kindly. With a sea view right outside the window, it's truly amazing value for money. I will definitely be back!"

"Hotel is close to Huiyang train station. Easy check-in and out. Good housekeeping service. Breakfast offered was reasonable price but choice of buffet spread was not exciting. Close to holiday park a shopping and eateries mall. Rooms facing the lake is not properly sound insulated as loud music could be heard in the night. Overall hotel is reasonably priced."
