"The hotel is strategically located, just a few minutes' walk from Lancang Street. It is very convenient to go to the shopping mall every Sunday. There is a large tea room in the lobby, where you can sit down and drink a cup of Jingmai ancient tree tea at any time. It has its own large parking lot. The room has first-class hardware facilities, a large floating table, and comfortable bedding; the front desk is full of beautiful waiters in national costumes, especially the beautiful store manager who is enthusiastic, meticulous, and thoughtful! In short, the hotel is very cost-effective and can be the first choice for staying in Lancang!"
"The picture is just for show, let me tell you about the store
Advantages: cheap, only 68 per night, plenty of hot water, clean bathroom.
Disadvantages: damp, no sound insulation, will wake up in the middle of the night, the sheets are not new, there is a very strong smell of cigarettes.
It is far inferior to hotels of the same price in Baoshan. But who says he is cheap?"
"I originally planned to get full marks, but a chicken crowed at four o'clock in the morning until seven o'clock. I really didn't sleep well. The hotel environment is very good, the front desk staff is very enthusiastic and has a good attitude. The breakfast is also very rich. Except for the chicken, everything else is full marks."
"The room was nice, clean, and spacious, with a huge bed. A dehumidifier was provided, making the room very warm, especially considering the significant temperature difference between day and night on the mountain. The room had a self-service bottled water heater, ensuring safe drinking water. The balcony overlooked the tea plantation. The next morning, Fafa took us to see the sunrise, a truly beautiful sight. We stayed two nights, having dinner at the hotel. The food was fresh and delicious. After dinner, the owner led a Dai ethnic dance performance in the courtyard. After 9 pm, there were resident singers from the village; one handsome young man played the zither very well, encouraging interaction among the guests. Everyone in the courtyard was very friendly. I heard that Xiangong's Courtyard was designed by a designer and is the only courtyard in Jingmai Mountain with an elevator and swimming pool, making it highly recommended. Xiangong also owns a tea factory; you can visit and sample their tea if you're interested."
"Location: Located in Mangjing, the hotel is easily accessible by bus, with stops readily available. Restaurants are within a few hundred meters, making it very convenient.
Environment: While the room's decor is simple, its biggest advantage is a large window offering panoramic views of Jingmai Mountain. There's also a huge terrace, which I thoroughly enjoyed, witnessing the sunset and sea of clouds.
Service: The staff was very welcoming. Upon arrival, they offered me a cup of herbal tea in the lobby, and always greeted me with a smile. Returning home at night, the brightly lit houses along the dimly lit country roads provided a sense of security. Suggestion: The breakfast selection could be more varied.
Facilities: Disposable toilet seat covers were provided, and there was plenty of hot water. Even with the fan on at night, it was still quite cool.
Cleanliness: There was a small stain on the toilet seat, and the common area leading to the terrace was somewhat cluttered. With better design and organization, it could be significantly improved.
Summary: I initially thought this might be just an average guesthouse, but my stay was excellent. I highly recommend it; it's great value for money."
"I stayed for 3 consecutive days and everything was fine. However, when I checked out, the waiter said I was late and that the latest time was 2 o'clock because the cleaners had all gone off duty. Very unfriendly attitude. I thought I had remembered the time wrong, but when I checked the software I saw that it could indeed be delayed to 3pm. As the screenshot shows, the check-out time was only around 2:15 pm. The girl at the front desk must have forgotten that she is working in the service industry. We don't come out to have fun, not to cause trouble, but it's not okay to suffer bullying for no reason. So for those who haven't reviewed a review for a day, I'd like to give you a good review. You've brought honor to this hotel!"
"The facilities are quite good for a village. There's a balcony and a communal terrace, both offering scenic views. The original shop is closer to the village center, on higher ground, and can park two cars in front. The new shop is still under renovation and is located further down; it's said that it can accommodate over a dozen cars once it opens."
"The location of the hotel is very good. You can see it as soon as you enter the county. The appearance of the hotel is also very luxurious. The room facilities and equipment are also very new. It matches the luxury of the appearance. It is fully intelligent. The lobby not only has self-service tea, free mineral water, but also tea room. There is also a free gym and laundry room upstairs. The backyard parking lot is also very convenient and spacious. It is worth mentioning that the restaurant breakfast is also very rich, and the freshly ground coffee is very unexpected. I will stay here next time."

Hidden among green mountains in a mist-wreathed Pu'er tea garden, the Jingmai Brilliant Resort and Spa (Jingmai Bolian Jingpin Jiudian) has a peaceful atmosphere with fragrance of tea floating in the air. (See hotel photos for more.)The Dai minority-style buildings of this Xishuangbanna resort offer mountain-view rooms and villas, all complete with modern amenities. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors open to balconies offering guests breath-taking views of the scenery. The luxurious Manor Villa also offers a private hot tub. Both Chinese and Western cuisines are available. In addition, guests can sip wine, local Pu'er tea or Yunnan coffee or tropical cocktails at the Sunset Bar. For those looking for different culinary experience, the barbecue restaurant offers dishes from local minority groups. The resort's Tea Club combines the enjoyment of music and traditional Chinese tea culture. Guest may taste tea and listen to music with tea specialists here. For guests traveling on business, this hotel provides a function hall that can hold 120 people and a convention room that can accommodate 40 people. The business facilities include projectors as well as audio and stage lighting systems.Guests with free time may visit the nearby scenic spots or enjoy themselves by helping to pick, process and store Pu'er tea.
Whether it is room hygiene or entertainment venue hygiene, it still needs to be improved. After all, it is indeed under construction... After the construction is completed, it will indeed be a perfect family tour destination. I hope the boss will hurry up to complete the construction and provide perfect service.
Review: Eterna Venue Hotel (Liu Shi) - A Tea Mountain Retreat
As a self-proclaimed “well-travelled” individual, I never expected Jingmai Mountain to take my breath away again—but it truly did. The journey here is a testament to Yunnan’s untouched beauty, with rolling emerald tea fields, ancient forests, and villages where ethnic tribes have lived for generations.
We decided to stay at Eterna Venue Hotel (Liu Shi) instead of the many BnBs on the mountain, having often found those overpriced and lacking in cleanliness. What a pleasant surprise this hotel turned out to be!
From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff made it feel like home. Many of the team members come from nearby tea-farming communities, and their passion for the land was palpable. They didn’t just serve tea—they shared stories of the heritage behind it, offering insights into the different tea varieties and local traditions.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with high-quality linens. I loved waking up to the sound of roosters and the first rays of sunshine streaming through the window. If you’re like me and prefer to leave the window open at night, the fresh mountain air is the perfect way to start your day.
For breakfast, don’t miss the fresh rice noodles and seafood congee—so flavorful! The fruit selection was also fresh and changed daily.
A pleasant surprise was finding Cha Ling (a premium LVMH brand) as the hotel’s amenity. Made with tea extract, it added a luxurious touch to my stay.
One of my favorite experiences was the traditional tea baking session, Wei Lu Kao Cha. We gathered around a carbon stove, sipped Pu’er tea, ate locally harvested fruit and nuts, and learned to bake our own tea leaves under the guidance of tea masters.
The staff’s pride in their cultural heritage shone through in every interaction, making what could have been a simple stay feel like an immersive cultural journey.
For anyone looking to experience the authentic soul of Yunnan’s tea mountains, Eterna Venue Hotel offers more than just a place to stay—it provides a meaningful connection to this beautiful region.
The room was clean and tidy, the layout was very good, the hotel location was very convenient, and it was very fast to go to play and eat. The service is also very warm and thoughtful, a great stay experience, beautiful Pu'er charm Lancang, next time you have the opportunity to come again, you will still choose this hotel!
(I forgot to take pictures when I stayed too immersed, but the environment is very comfortable, there is a gym, and the car can go directly to the door)

Ambiance: The environment is extremely comfortable and relaxing.
Service: The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful.

Overall, it was a very positive experience. The location is quite remote, so having your own car is essential. You can explore the surrounding Lahu ethnic villages. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to take guests down to the villages. We were lucky enough to catch a dance performance on Saturday, which was a lovely unexpected bonus.

GGuest UserThe location of the passenger station is very easy to find, it is very convenient to get on and off the bus, and it is very quiet to sleep at night. The most important thing is that the boss is very good and will take you to see the sunset and the stars. All the ladies who stay in are ladies. You can also chat at night and find a travel partner to go shopping and take pictures together. The traffic in the scenic spot is not good, and the boss is also very responsible and will help you contact how to go to the attractions and how to come back. Although it is a public bathroom, it is also very convenient on the same floor. The view outside the store is also good. Recommended stay.
MM229054****The room is very big, villa-style room, you can see the sea of clouds when you open the door, and you can see the sea of clouds on the roof, with a wide view. The boss is very nice and enthusiastic, there is tea to drink at any time, breakfast in the morning, and there is brewed tea on the dining table when you get up. The surrounding is very quiet, and there are many stars at night. The restaurant that the boss lady recommended to us is delicious, the portion is large and the price is affordable. It is the best meal we had in Jingmai Mountain for a few days. In short, her restaurant is highly recommended.
GGuest UserHotel environment: It is in Mangjing Village, the location is very good, you can see the scenery when you go out. The decoration is good and very warm. The boss's house is very big. Every household here grows tea and you can taste the tea. When I came, I saw many people drinking tea in the yard. Boss service: warm and considerate, always smiling and very nice. He offered to help with the luggage, and after asking, I found out that the boss was from the Wa ethnic group. The two children ran around barefoot, and he also offered to help bring water. There was a funny episode. A rooster crowed on the first night. I told the boss about it the next day, and he caught the rooster. Hahahahaha. It was even possible. It was very quiet the next day. The overall tour of Jingmai Mountain is very comfortable. The people I met are simple, reliable and very interesting. I highly recommend it.
MM543052****The most comfortable and happiest trip. The room was super clean and comfortable. I went to the boss to make tea every day. On the first day, we didn't hire a car, so the boss sent us to a nearby house to play. The boss's wife would cook rice noodles for us in the morning. The boss also asked everyone to roast fire, drink and eat together. The boss's wife also made milk tea for us, which was 10,000 times better than the ones bought in the village. She often cut fruits for us to eat. The boss also took us to his own fields to pick wolfberries and took us to see the waterfall. He prepared a very sumptuous lunch for us and took a lot of beautiful photos for us. You can see the beautiful sunset from the third-floor platform of the homestay. I felt as comfortable and cozy as at home after staying for three days. I will definitely go back if I have the chance😘
YYonglande_maoEnvironment:
It's a standalone building with a small courtyard for parking and flowers, perfect for sitting and chatting.
Cleanliness:
The room was very clean, with new sheets and quilt covers. Perhaps because it's on the first floor, there was a slight musty smell upon entering, but it dissipated after ventilation.
Service:
I can say I was very, very satisfied. Every household here has a tea garden and produces tea. They invited us for tea every day, and we could sit and chat for half an hour, enjoying the pleasant atmosphere.
QQingshaozailushangThe homestay is under the Wengji Ancient Village, facing the tea garden and the sunset. When others are crowding the car on the observation deck, I have washed the car and washed the car in the sunset. The boss did not say that he was thoughtful and attentive, and he really felt at home. In terms of facilities, the water is hot enough, the hardness of the bed is right, the bedding is clean, and there is nothing wrong with it.
AaszdluFacilities: Toothpaste, toothbrushes, and bath towels are provided. The room was a little on the small side, but perfectly adequate for a single person.
Location: The guesthouse is located within the ancient village, not far from its center.
Cleanliness: The room was quite tidy, and the fresh bedding smelled clean with no strange odors.
Service: The owner was very welcoming, often inviting guests for tea and patiently answering any questions.
LLisanne SchutReally recommend staying here! We booked this hotel last minute, and were really happy with our stay! We were welcomed with delicious local tea. The hosts helped us rent an electric bike which was perfect for seeing the surrounding villages and ancient tea forests. They were very helpful since we don’t speak any Chinese, but this wasn’t a problem at all. The area is really beautiful and special and Jingmai is one of our favorite places in China so far.
The room itself was spacious, new and very clean. Breakfast was delicious.
XXiaowangzia-17The only inn in the ancient village of Ligan (seems to be), parking is convenient. There is a parking space in the scenic spot (at the entrance of the village). You can contact the boss to pick up your luggage. People with less luggage walk in quickly. The accommodation conditions are clean as a whole, the whole village is the original village without modification, the locals cook rice and smoke, the room is wooden, the sound is not good, you can take a bath with hot water, although small but complete. The boss is very enthusiastic and there is also a restaurant to eat. At night, just in time for the village celebrations, Zhaixin roasting fire dancing ~ The original ecology is a good place, much better than Wengji, there is no commercialization here, and it is protected.
VVeraFor a visit to Jingmai mountain this hotel is perfectly situated. The tourist office is right across and from here you can take a bus to Jingmai. Nearby are good restaurants and breakfast noodle places, as well as basic shops with fruit and vegetables. The best thing about the hotel is the incredibly friendly and helpful management, who will assure you have the best experience! Thank you for your kindness and care :)
