"The newly opened homestay has a good location and plenty of parking. The room was clean and tidy, very modern, the daily necessities were well prepared, and the bathroom was very dry and wet. There is also a terrace, sitting on the terrace in the morning to see the scenery, very pleasant. The front desk brother is very good, and we have had tea and chat for a long time. Tea is also very good, bought a lot of friends."

"The environment and atmosphere here are absolutely superb, no complaints! The guesthouse has fantastic views, you can literally watch the sea of clouds from your room, it's truly magnificent! The room was also spotlessly clean, with a separate wet and dry bathroom, a smart toilet, and a stable hot water supply. The toiletries were high quality and smelled great, and the hairdryer was powerful. When I stayed, there were quite a few empty rooms, so the owner upgraded me upon arrival. Waking up in the morning and seeing the sea of clouds right from my bed – who can understand that feeling? It was truly breathtaking! The guesthouse lobby is also very comfortable, spacious, beautifully decorated, and has a nice ethnic flair. You can enjoy free tea there. I'd say it's one of the best-equipped guesthouses in Jingmai Mountain. The location is also very convenient, right next to the main road, easy to find. It's also easy to catch the shuttle bus from here. If you're driving, there's convenient parking in the courtyard. It's also super easy to get to attractions like Bee King Tree, Princess Banyan, Aileng Mountain, and Wengji Ancient Village, all about 1 kilometer away, easily walkable – really great. If there are enough people in the evening, the owner even organizes a bonfire tea-roasting session with singing and chatting. The atmosphere is truly wonderful, and the owner and her family are all incredibly warm and kind. If you're coming to Jingmai Mountain, Yushanpu Tea is definitely an excellent choice!"

Guest UserThe location had great views over the valley, including the early morning sea of cloud. The property has a rooftop lookout that our group could get together to enjoy the view.
It helped that our taxi could drive through the narrow road of Mengben village and deposit us and our luggage on the doorstep of the homestay. This is unlike Wengji & Nuogang villages, where cars are not allowed to enter the village but deposit visitors at the village carpark.
The hospitality of the owner/hostess was remarkable.
She had a Pu'er tea table and made us endless cups of different tea all grown in her farm, explaining their differences and virtues. She did not charge us a cent for the whole experience. Neither did she try to hard sell the tea leaves although we did buy a small amount off her because we enjoyed the tea. She is a good cook and whipped up breakfast and lunch for us.

AstrxdThe environment was very comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful view whwre you can see some of the sea of clouds. They give you disposable coverings for you to put on top of the fresh pillow bedding and mattress for extra hygiene which is a nice touch I haven't seen before. Bathroom is very clean, though there are only two toilets and two showers and two sinks, so do note that for busy season, but it wasn't an issue at all during my stay. They provided breakfast too, fresh milk the boss heated for me when I got up, and red sugar glutinous rice cakes wrapped in banana leaves (babas), and it was fun to get ready for the day with new friends on the balcony overlooking the village. I think the environment is very good for meeting new friends and other solo travelers- I arrived at the hostel randomly at the same time as three other girls, and we explored Manghong togetjer on the boss's recommendations for itinerary and sightseeing. And the next day the boss dropped us off at a tea roasting experience, and just as we were heading to Nuogan another girl from the hostel finished her tea roasting session, so we all went to Nuogan togetjer to play. The boss even helped load my luggage onto the shuttle bus so that it could pick me up at a sightseeing spot further down the mountain!

AdaHuang_This hotel is a comprehensive wellness resort with excellent facilities, including hot spring pools, an infinity pool, and a health clinic. The entire hotel has over 260 rooms, spread across several buildings, offering both standard rooms and villas.
The front desk upgraded me to a mountain view room upon check-in, and when I provided feedback at check-out, they also gave me a tea gift.
I found interesting folk handicrafts at the gift shop.
Service could be improved. The promised welcome fruit was never delivered, and there was no proactive introduction to the hotel's facilities or the various experience packages. When I inquired, most of them were unavailable for booking.
The afternoon tea pastries were not impressive.
The restaurant had very few non-spicy options, and the selection was too limited.
The second-floor platform needs better management. Also, guests in the lobby on the first floor were still being noisy late at night.
Overall, it's much better than the established quiet luxury hotels nearby, but there's still room for improvement.

Guest UserIt's very convenient to get around. It's only about a 10-minute walk to Beigui Cafe to watch the sunrise. The rooftop platform has a great view with a panoramic vista of the beautiful scenery. The owner makes rice noodles every day with broth that she has cooked the day before as the base, which is very delicious.

Guest UserThis B&B has the most attention to detail of any I've ever stayed in. There's a tea mountain outside the terrace outside the room, and it's very comfortable to sleep on the recliner at night. The tea in the tea basket in the room exudes a lingering fragrance. The proprietress's tea is delicious and she's a very nice person. The whole tea room is elegantly decorated. In the evening, everyone sits together to drink tea, roast sweet potatoes, roast peanuts, and roast baba. It's very happy and highly recommended!

Guest UserTo be fair, the environment is indeed lovely, and the landscape design, including the pool and gym, is very well-thought-out. However...
1) The room was too hot. It was 31 degrees Celsius when we checked in. We set the air conditioning to 16 degrees with maximum fan speed and left it on all night. The next day, the display still showed 29 degrees. It was incredibly stuffy.
2) The breakfast selection was quite limited. My parents, who were traveling with me, said it wasn't even as good as Atour's. There were no hot dishes at all. We only found out we could order stir-fried beef with broccoli by asking. The rice noodles were also the worst we'd had on our entire Yunnan road trip – soft and mushy. My parents mentioned speaking to a staff member who said it was due to low occupancy, so they hadn't prepared much. This really shouldn't be the standard for an InterContinental. Even if there aren't many cold dishes, simply making a decent bowl of noodles or rice vermicelli would significantly improve the experience.
I could sense the staff's eagerness to please and their diligence; they kept asking how our stay was and what we wanted to eat. They even brought a bowl of tangyuan (sweet glutinous rice balls) even after we said we didn't want any. But honestly, it felt a bit misplaced. It would have been much better if they had focused on ensuring comfortable room temperatures and providing a basic, decent breakfast selection.

I really loved this hotel! It was so much cleaner than I expected, and you absolutely must book a balcony room. The view from the window was breathtaking – a sea of clouds! It was so comfortable! I'll definitely stay in Wengji for a few nights next time. I forgot to take pictures of the hotel, but the bathroom was very clean too. The owners were also incredibly kind and simple; I love Wengji Ancient Village!

It's good that the homestay is right in the village. In the morning, all the roosters crow at sunrise. It's more pleasant than the noises made by cars driving past the road right under the window. The male receptionist doesn't have many words. The female receptionist made tea and chatted with us. The room was not cleaned and the necessities were not stocked daily. The window is tinted with green and made the view out of the window appears nicer in one section.

The location is great, right in the center of the village. You can enjoy the sea of clouds and sunset from the second-floor tea room without even leaving. It's very relaxing, and the staff's attitude is quite good.
However, there are a few drawbacks:
1. Although you can enjoy free tea in the second-floor tea room, it's a bit disappointing that there are no complimentary tea bags in the room. Even hotels not located in tea-producing regions usually provide tea bags in every room.
2. If the shower and toilet aren't separated, they should at least provide a pair of plastic slippers. Otherwise, wearing disposable slippers after a shower is very slippery and easy to trip. Not wearing any shoes isn't hygienic, especially since it's about 2 meters from the shower to the door.

The girlfriends are together to eat, drink and stroll, travel on the staggered peak, Jingmai Mountain itinerary full score 💯 It’s right to have a rain, and it’s also right to have a sea of tea mountains and clouds! Staying at the famous hotel opened by Pu'er Tea Non-genetic inheritor Yuan Wen, the two families take care of it personally. The room is oversized and the twin bed can easily accommodate 4 people. The boss will soak in the homemade Pu'er every day to entertain guests from all over the world. The proprietress cooks good dishes. In the evening, the little brother and sister will roast corn sweet potatoes and make milk tea to talk to everyone around the stove. Although September is not the tea picking season, the tea picking experience can still participate. After the rain, the fresh air and various cicadas called to sweep the hustle and bustle of the city for two nights and three days. It was fleeting. The night before leaving, I was fortunate to taste the Iceland treasured by Master Yuwen. I returned to Gan, which was extraordinary! When I went down the mountain the next day, I rarely encountered the sea of clouds. Life is worth it! Looking forward to gathering again next time, I wish the homestay better and better!
