MM594272****I've worked at guesthouses in Tonglu, Lishui, Ningde, Hemu, and Shangri-La for a while, and I generally don't leave reviews. 1. This guesthouse has its own mini-program, offering not only room bookings and various agricultural products, but also information on nearby restaurants, attractions, transportation, sunrise and sunset times. This really surprised me, as most upscale guesthouses only offer room bookings and agricultural products. 2. There's a large terrace on the second floor. You can swing and drink tea. 3. You can experience tea picking and tea processing. There are usually tea parties in the evenings where everyone sits and chats. My friend, who works at another guesthouse, also came over for fruit, tea, and conversation. These two nights reminded me of the natural tranquility I experienced when I worked in Hemu, Ningde. 4. The water quality on the mountain is generally poor; it's mostly yellowish. Even here, after two filtrations, the water is still a bit yellow. On my second day, there was a water shortage on the mountain, and sometimes there were power outages, but they were always short-lived. 5. People here generally don't eat breakfast, so they tend to get up late. However, the owner was already treating everyone to tea early this morning in the tea room; yesterday, he took everyone up the mountain to pick tea. 6. The Bulang people are a minority group, and it's already quite admirable that they've tried to embrace inland trends and culture while retaining their hardworking and simple nature.

XXiaoyangduochiyidianWhat an amazing stay at Jingmai Mountain! Before coming, I did some research and felt this place was perfect for an immersive getaway, so my friend and I chose it. The environment is really comfortable. As soon as you enter, you see a century-old tree. The room is also quite spacious, and there's even an elevator for easy check-in, so no worries about lugging bags around. And you don't have to stress about finding food in the mountains because the guesthouse has its own restaurant where you can dine. That evening, we enjoyed roasted milk tea by the fire and a lively bonfire party! The next day, hotel staff even guided us to the back mountain to watch the sunrise, which had a fantastic view. After watching the sunrise, we headed straight down for breakfast.

Staying at the famous hotel opened by Pu'er Tea Non-genetic inheritor Yuan Wen, the two families take care of it personally. The room is oversized and the twin bed can easily accommodate 4 people. The boss will soak in the homemade Pu'er every day to entertain guests from all over the world. The proprietress cooks good dishes. In the evening, the little brother and sister will roast corn sweet potatoes and make milk tea to talk to everyone around the stove. Although September is not the tea picking season, the tea picking experience can still participate. After the rain, the fresh air and various cicadas called to sweep the hustle and bustle of the city for two nights and three days. It was fleeting. The night before leaving, I was fortunate to taste the Iceland treasured by Master Yuwen. I returned to Gan, which was extraordinary! When I went down the mountain the next day, I rarely encountered the sea of clouds. Life is worth it! Looking forward to gathering again next time, I wish the homestay better and better!

BBarışGA great B&B with an amazing view from the lobby and from the room. The room was fully equipped and clean. The staff was very kind and helpful! In the lobby there is always good tea and you can also buy the tea. I spent a great time here so this is definitely a strong recommendation. Also the location in Wengji is a great starting point to explore Jingmaishan. I feel compared to the other villages Wengji provides the best feeling of authenticity while also having all the commercial amenities that you need during your stay. Furthermore, it is located quite central in Jingmaishan so that the different corners can be explored easily day by day.

JJonasWe (2 German travellers) have been in the area of Jingmaishan and wanted to stay a night somewhere. The hotel is about 2 km away from Wengji Ancient Village, that means 30 mins by foot. At first, we wabted to book our hotel directly in the village, but it turns out that booking Diwanara hotel was the best thing that could have happened. The host, who grew up there and is member of the Lahu-Minority is so warm-hearted, he sits in front of his house drinking tea the whole day and we would never leave or come back without being invited to drink some of his homemade tea. He has tea fields 10 mins away from his hotel, and he even took us there to teach us how to collect the tea. Also he cooks breakfast for his guests, which is just delicious. For everybody who, besides the quite commercialised Wengji Village, also wants to have an authentic experience, we can warmly recommend Diwanara hotel.

MM400471****An unexpected experience. The boss is friendly, the room is clean, and it is really unexpected that the village can be so clean! My favorite is the observation deck. The location is great. You can directly see the mountains in the distance. You can watch the sunset at night. I stayed there for a whole day and it was not enough. It was so comfortable to enjoy the breeze, read books and drink tea! The boss was also very nice. He recommended travel tips for us when we arrived and even made milk tea for us in the evening. It was worth the trip. If I have the chance again, I will choose to stay here permanently.

LLisanne SchutReally recommend staying here! We booked this hotel last minute, and were really happy with our stay! We were welcomed with delicious local tea. The hosts helped us rent an electric bike which was perfect for seeing the surrounding villages and ancient tea forests. They were very helpful since we don’t speak any Chinese, but this wasn’t a problem at all. The area is really beautiful and special and Jingmai is one of our favorite places in China so far. The room itself was spacious, new and very clean. Breakfast was delicious.
