"I stayed in Quanzhou for two nights, coinciding with New Year's Eve, so the ancient city was bustling. The hotel's occupancy rate was almost 100%. I booked this hotel about half a month in advance and specifically requested a non-smoking room or a non-smoking treatment. I took the K1 bus from Quanzhou Railway Station, and it took about 40 minutes to reach the hotel. The front desk staff were very welcoming and quickly processed my check-in. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, with no strange smells. The sofa had a vintage feel, and I was quite comfortable. Breakfast is on the second floor; you need to go down to the first floor and then take the stairs up to the restaurant. The restaurant is quite large, with an open kitchen, and the food selection is quite rich, including rice noodle paste, millet porridge, soy milk, milk, bread, and corn, with a good variety of side dishes. The breakfast menu even varied over the two days. It's also quite convenient for getting in and out of the ancient city! There are many good restaurants nearby as well. Definitely worth recommending."
"This stay was absolutely fantastic! As soon as I arrived at the lobby, I was impressed by the staff's warmth and enthusiasm. Check-in was efficient and thoughtful. Coming back from a late night at work, I was pleasantly surprised to find a warm bowl of late-night congee waiting for me, which instantly melted away my fatigue. The lobby also thoughtfully provided fresh, sweet fruit, which was a lovely, heartwarming touch. Whenever I had a question, the manager was incredibly professional and patient, putting me completely at ease. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!"

"This is my second time in Quanzhou. I saw this hotel when I visited Xunpu Fishing Village and it left a great impression, so I decided to stay here. Oh my goodness, it was amazing! I booked a city view room, but because it was off-season, they upgraded me to a deluxe river view. The view truly blew me away! The room was incredibly spacious, and the bathtub had two floor-to-ceiling windows, offering fantastic views of both the bridge and the Ferris wheel – absolutely stunning. This hotel with its beautiful scenery is a must-stay when you come to Quanzhou.
The deluxe river view king room offered expansive views and top-notch facilities. The mattress provided good support but was a little firm, and the bathroom was spacious and comfortable. The JInjiang River scenery outside the window was serene, and the service was professional and efficient. Overall, the experience was precise and solid, meeting brand standards, though it slightly lacked a surprising warmth or unique memorable touch."
"Before coming to Quanzhou, I spent a lot of time researching which hotel to book for my first stop. Influenced by some reviews, I initially chose a slightly more expensive hotel near West Lake over the Quanzhou Hotel, thinking it would be quieter. Luckily, for the third leg of my trip, I ended up booking the Quanzhou Hotel. Even though I only stayed one night, I have to say the experience was absolutely perfect. Although the hotel has been around for a while, it doesn't show any signs of age; it's clean and meticulously maintained. Its vintage decor actually exudes a sense of understated 'old money' luxury. The hotel's service is incredibly detail-oriented; it's clear that every staff member is well-trained, attentive, and considerate without being intrusive. The breakfast spread was also very rich and varied. As for the location, it's unparalleled – incredibly convenient for getting anywhere in the ancient city, whether on foot or by taking a 'xiaobai' (local small vehicle). I was thoroughly satisfied with every aspect, and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Quanzhou."
"The location of Linfu B&B is excellent. You can reach Kaiyuan Temple in 3 minutes from the alley. Outside the alley is West Street. There are many foods and snacks in West Street. Linfu B&B is clean and tidy, the layout is very stylish, European simple style, strong design, beautiful environment, this location is quiet, Very suitable for traveling and living, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the homestay is very clean and spotless, many disposable items, safe and hygienic, the room is very quiet, I slept a lot, the boss is very good, helped us provide travel guides, and nearby snacks, Quanzhou food, Thanks to the boss, there is a rooftop, you can see the east and west towers and the west church and the night view of Quanzhou with the wind there. I walked around. This homestay is the best nearby and the price is very good. I have to find a room in the ancient city and outside the house. It is not easy to have such a clean and beautiful homestay, because this price is really satisfying to us. It is not easy to find such a good homestay at this price. We are very satisfied. I ordered takeaway, and I could help me deliver it to the room. I am very grateful to the courier brother. This trip was also regarded as a social one. I just met a guest in another room . sitting on the rooftop and chatting together. It is very comfortable to see the night view. I am grateful to meet. This price is the best quality in the same homestay. It is recommended to come and experience it. It will be worth the money."
"Not sure if this hotel is independently run or under the park in brand. The checkin and check out and getting left luggage just took forever. The staff were not friendly, no uniforms were worn, no welcome was given . Nothing was even said when I checked in. I was given a room that was clean and tidy. However the first night being a Saturday I was kept awake by the thumping sounds of the nightclub and the screaming sounds of KTV bar which kept me up all night. Then at 6 am the construction started digging and grinding. I asked to switch rooms and the next room was smaller . Somewhat clean. But it over looked the roof of the building where the aircon machines were which was absolutely loud.
The breakfast in this hotel was abysmal . Not much western food or vegetarian options. Except over sugary cereal and toast with no toppings. Every morning the room was filled and mosh patrons wasted half of what they took it was disheartening to see soo much food waste. The breakfast fruits were also always finished and nothing was being replenished. The chairs and table were dirty and stained. And I’m not sure the type of hygiene that went on cause no staff wore any type of uniforms. The coffee machine was dirty with finger marks and the overall cleaning was just poor. Skip the breakfast it was loud and in there and I saw guests sitting with the feet on the chains and kids sleeping all over the place.
The location is not very convenient it’s a bit of a distance from the west street and buses are not frequent but the bus stop is right outside.
The restroom in the lobby was also in a very poor state when I wanted to use it.
Again it is 2025 why are wel allowing smoking in public establishments! The halls smelt like smoke and one day my room a non-smoking room had a stench of smoke coming through the vents. The daily house keeping was also suspect, one day the toilet was cleaned and floors mopped the next.
Seriously , not sure if it’s actually is a radisson or what. But overall the room was clean and tidy.
Staff can be trained on positions of the rooms."
"Even though I didn't book with my IHG Platinum status, I still felt the hotel's warm hospitality. It's only two stops away from the bustling West Street, and there's a bus stop right outside. The breakfast was plentiful every day, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared tourist guides for each guest, available for free in the lobby. The housekeeper noticed I drink tea and specifically left extra bottles of water for me daily – a small gesture, but it shows the hotel's strong service orientation. I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Quanzhou. Thumbs up to Quanzhou, a city of bustling life and ancient charm, filled with genuine human warmth!"
"This hotel is located right next to the ancient city. You can just cross the road and hop on the 'Xiao Bai' bus, which is super convenient. When exploring the ancient city, the 'Xiao Bai' bus is definitely the most convenient, fastest, and most cost-effective mode of transport, bar none. Guan Yu Temple, Qingjing Mosque, West Street, and Kaiyuan Temple are all within walking distance from the hotel. Although the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, there are many breakfast shops downstairs, all serving authentic Quanzhou specialties. I highly recommend the拌面 (ban mian) and扁食 (bian shi) across the street to the left of the hotel entrance. The hotel staff were very friendly and always happy to answer any questions. It was a very satisfying stay."
"I had an excellent experience during my stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. The cleanliness throughout the property was outstanding — the room, lobby, and common areas were all spotless and well-maintained. It really gave me a sense of comfort and care.
The location is also perfect, with easy access to nearby shops, restaurants, and transportation, which made getting around very convenient. The service from the staff was another highlight; everyone I encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. They consistently made sure I had everything I needed.
The amenities were impressive as well. The facilities were modern and well-equipped, creating a very enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with my entire stay. I truly appreciate the quality and effort the hotel puts into maintaining such a high standard.
I will definitely return on my next visit and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great service."
"The location is quite central, very close to Liu Guan Lu Snack Street, and there's another food street right behind the hotel! It's close to attractions, making it convenient for getting around, and the front desk even offered travel advice."

CChasel yijieOur stay in Quanzhou was very satisfying. When in Quanzhou, West Street is undoubtedly the best choice for accommodation. While there are many guesthouses on West Street, Lushi stood out because its attention to detail made us feel we made the right decision.
First, it's conveniently located at the intersection of Xinhua North Street and West Street, easily accessible by taxi or local 'xiaobai' cars. Second, despite being in the ancient city, stepping inside reveals a whole new world: a parking lot, outdoor spaces, an internal intangible cultural heritage exhibition hall, and a rooftop viewing spot for the East and West Pagodas – it has everything.
The staff were also wonderful. On our first day, we arrived early, and a front desk staff member provided a handwritten tour map and detailed recommendations for breakfast nearby. Another front desk staff member helped our child write a letter to themselves and played with wax seals for a long time. Our second-grader said, 'It doesn't feel like they're just playing with me for money' (LOL🤣).
Since we booked late, we had a projector room the first night and a bathtub room the second. Both rooms were clean, and the welcome fruit and mini-bar were well-stocked. In the bathtub room, candles, matches, and disposable tub liners were all thoughtfully provided.
Oh, and the book 'The Submarine at Night' on the bedside table – it perfectly matched my taste, hahaha.

CConrad H.There wasn't any tourist stuff in the area, but West Street was a 15 minute car ride away. The hotel was spacious and clean and had great front desk and cleaning staff.
MM36929****The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right by Zhongshan Road in Huaxiang. It's super close to all the main attractions like the Bell Tower, Chengtian Temple, and Kaiyuan Temple. Getting around with the little white buggies is also convenient, with plenty available at both ends of the alley, and sometimes drivers even come right in. Our building even has an elevator! There are a few steps at the entrance, but the staff were quick to help with our luggage. The online customer service was very responsive and helped us with several issues during the winter solstice.
If you're worried about getting dropped off too far by taxi, it's best to contact the hotel beforehand to confirm the drop-off point. We took a detour ourselves, but it turns out if you go to the Quanzhou Hotel parking lot, it's only about 100 meters from their back entrance.
The alley itself is full of charming little shops perfect for browsing and shopping. There are also many small eateries, and even though their review scores might not be the highest, they're popular. For higher-rated restaurants, you can easily walk to them.

ZZhifayuantuXiangyu is still the same Xiangyu. I visited Quanzhou last year and didn't see all the historical sites. This year, I returned and stayed at Xiangyu again. The familiar atmosphere and service were still there, and the complimentary sweet soup every evening embodied the warmth Quanzhou brings to a visitor like me. I love this hotel; a quiet spot amidst the bustling city. We even lay on the jutting stone slabs on the fourth-floor rooftop, enjoying the evening breeze and watching the clouds drift. And with the convenience of the ”Little White Car,” any scenic spot is incredibly convenient. Thank you to our housekeeper, Xiao Wu, for all the help before and after our stay. I look forward to seeing you again.

YYixiangshenghuoI didn't expect that this homestay in Quanzhou Ancient City would be so good. First of all, it is in the ancient city. You can get anywhere by bus or car. The owner and his family enthusiastically introduced how to play and how to eat. The accommodation is also comfortable. We drove here, it was easy to park, and the parking fee was cheap. The owner also provided us with breakfast. It was very friendly and happy to drink tea and chat together. Quanzhou Ancient City is good and has the characteristics of southern Fujian.

JJay87Wanran is a charming Minsu homestay nestled in a beautifully preserved 100-year-old house, surrounded by a walkable neighborhood filled with heritage shophouses, cozy cafes, local eateries, and even a shopping mall. It’s the perfect balance of old-world charm and modern convenience.
This family-run homestay — hosted by a lovely couple and their two children — offers a genuine and welcoming experience.
The guest room is a renovated part of the old home: clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the essentials.
Beyond the nostalgic architecture, what makes this place truly special is the tea room. It’s a hidden gem filled with rare and high-quality teas sourced from various regions. Guests are warmly invited to sit, sip, and chat — not just about tea, but also about culture, stories, and everyday life.
Even as a foreigner with only basic Chinese skills, I felt completely at ease spending time in the tea room, exchanging thoughts with the host. Language wasn’t a barrier at all — tea became our shared language.
This was my first time staying in a tea house, and it left me with beautiful memories. If you're looking for something authentic, relaxing, and deeply rooted in local life and tea culture, Wanran is a must.

LLauren 红月I spent 6 nights at 2208. It had been saved on my Trip.com for many months before my summer holiday, so I was happy that they had availability for the week I planned to visit.
In order of importance for me as a solo (foreign female) traveler are: location, safety, and helpfulness of staff.
1. Location: I think the location is perfect. It’s on a small alley behind West Street and directly across from Kaiyuan Temple’s west gate. This area is very central and convenient.
2. Safety: Overall, the city is safe, but in reality it is nearby a main tourist destination, so to prevent non-guests from entering there is a gate with keypad access for late night. There was always staff inside at other times.
3. Helpfulness of staff: There were some language barriers due to my lack of fluency, but the staff tried to help as much as possible to make sure I was comfortable. If there was a problem it was resolved quickly and if I didn’t understand, they were patient and tried to explain it another way.
Other than these things, I’ll say there are actually two 2208 buildings in the same area. One has a view of Kaiyuan Temple from some rooms and from the rooftop; the other seems more modern but without this view. There is cleaning service available if you need it and free water bottles daily.
If you are looking for amenities such as a television or breakfast, maybe this is not a suitable option, but if you want a place to sleep nearby the best sites in Quanzhou, and have friendly staff greet you each day, then it’s a good choice.

AAnonymous UserRoom was really big, and although it was further than I expected, its still of a walkable distance from the airport. Room was big and had plenty of space! Cleanliness wise was actually pretty alright, EXCEPT the toilet. I think it was mentioned by another reviewer that there is a very strong smell i think coming from the drain. It really hits you in the face whenever you open the toilet door, so im quite affected and reluctant to use the toilet lol. But luckily the toilet and bath are separated, so I think if you close the toilet door its still fine. I just hold my breath when opening the toilet door. Also its still bearable for me since im only there for 1 night (im in quanzhou for a 24 hour layover), but otherwise the smell is really not for long stays, so I would say considering the price I paid (and the proximity to the airport) its still an acceptable stay BUT if you're staying there for longer I would recommend looking for other hotels! (Which is a shame really because I like staying in large rooms normally and i think i dont have high standards for my stays as long as its clean, and this room is pretty spacious)

GGuest UserArrived at the hotel in the evening, the front desk warmly received us and upgraded the view room. I gave it a thumbs up manually👍The room was comfortable and spacious. There was no hot water on the second night. I called the front desk and the response was very quick. A technician came up to check it soon and said that it would be fine if I ran cold water for a while.
The only thing that can be improved is that the shower room can be equipped with a towel rack or hook for clothes and towels. Otherwise, it is a little inconvenient to open the door to get towels and clothes after taking a shower.

This homestay can grab Didi anytime. The shop Opposite hotel is 老字号马蹄酥&黄衍明口腔科 as later i will put picture for ur reference. Then u follow the signboard go in the alley then can find the homestay.
