"Our whole family stayed here for our trip to Quanzhou, and the service was excellent. They even gave us thoughtful introductions to various attractions in Quanzhou and provided us with a guide. The rooms were lovely, with new facilities and very quiet. The parking lot was free and spacious, and there was even a swimming pool! It truly lives up to its reputation as a leisure hotel. Superb!"

"The room was very clean. The location was good as it is very near the bus stops which I could go to/from the high speed rail station as well as key places like Kaiyuan Temple and Qingyuan Mountain. I could also easily walk to Guan-Yue Temple and from there other attractions were quite walkable. Could have provided a cup in the toilet that can be used while brushing teeth to save water for the hotel and make it more convenient for the guest."

"The hotel is near Wanda Plaza in Fengze District, offering many dining options. It's about a 15-minute drive from Kaiyuan Temple. The surrounding area is a bit messy due to ongoing road construction. The underground parking has plenty of spaces, but the entrance is a bit hard to find. The service attitude is good, and the room is clean and tidy, though a bit small. Breakfast includes 'mian xian hu' (rice noodle paste), which tastes just average."

"The room was clean and tidy, and quite quiet. The lady at the bar was also very helpful and answered all my questions. The facilities aren't new, but they're decent enough. Just a heads-up: the electric water heater has a small capacity, so it can be a bit tight for washing hair, especially with the current temperatures. For those driving, be aware that parking spots at the hotel entrance are limited and first-come, first-served. If there are no spots available, you'll need to pay for parking elsewhere."

"Highly recommend this hotel for families with a baby! We traveled with our 4-year-old and absolutely loved it. **Pros:** 1. **Kid-Friendly:** They provided a bed rail for the crib, preventing our child from rolling off. The hotel also arranged for kids' toiletries and slippers. The swimming pool was empty, so our little one had it all to themselves, haha! They even offered disposable bathtub liners. The attention to detail was excellent, and the toiletries brand was top-notch! 2. **Convenient Location:** Getting around was easy, with good transport links and a decent surrounding area. There were shared e-scooters available downstairs, making it super convenient to ride with our child to Xunpu Village and enjoy the views of fishing boats along the way. The Ferris wheel was right next door, offering stunning night views. Special shout-out to Lei at the front desk – he was wonderful! He upgraded our room and even gave our baby complimentary orange juice! **For families with kids, please consider this:** I strongly advise against staying at the highly-rated guesthouse in West Street. The hygiene there was concerning. West Street itself is often congested, making travel difficult, and the huge crowds aren't ideal when you have a child. The street doesn't have much unique character either; apart from searching for those 'must-try' restaurants, there's not much else to see, do, or buy."

"This hotel is right in the heart of West Street, offering a peaceful retreat despite being in a bustling area. It's a convenient 10-minute walk to Kaiyuan Temple, and there are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. The front desk staff were very thoughtful, always offering bottled water when we left and returned every day. We booked the 1.8-meter twin room, and the bedding was super comfortable. The overall style of the hotel was quite chic. They also offer luggage storage after check-out, which was very convenient, and we even received a lovely fridge magnet as a gift!"

"Quanzhou is wonderful, and Quanzhou Hotel was a significant part of that wonderful experience. First, the hotel's location is superb, making everything from dining to shopping and transportation incredibly convenient. After checking in, we picked up our child from Jinjiang Airport, which was less than an hour's round trip. Nearby attractions like Kaiyuan Temple, West Street, Bell Tower, Confucian Temple, Guan Yu Temple, Qingjing Mosque, and various alleyways are all within a 15-minute walk. The 'Xiaobai Che' (mini-vans that stop on demand) were truly Quanzhou's greatest convenience for travelers and locals alike, allowing us to go out and come back whenever we pleased. We visited our favorite spots multiple times within two days. The hotel's Wenling Hall specializes in authentic Minnan cuisine; the ginger duck, oyster omelet, and fried vinegar pork were all delicious. The peanut soup was simply amazing, and the hotel even offered it for free to guests, though we unfortunately ran out of stomach space. The hotel also provided complimentary exquisite Quanzhou-style dim sum daily. The small garlic twigs were incredibly crispy, much tastier than those bought outside, and neither oily nor sweet. We also loved the colorful souvenir coasters the hotel gave us. Just a few steps from the hotel, we found authentic Quanzhou snacks like Shuimen Guozi Mianxianhu, Wen'a Shuiwan, Bingzhengtang Shihua Gao Siguotang, and Ai'a Shihua Gao Siguotang. And the pickled radish roll with peanuts from Jinyu Lane truly opened up a new world of snack possibilities – this peculiar combination was surprisingly appetizing and delicious! 😄😄 During our two days in Quanzhou, we also enjoyed plenty of taro cakes and olive juice. I have a suggestion: the hotel might as well hide the weighing scales; seeing the scale go straight up is quite disheartening 😔😔. Hotel parking is convenient, and because of its excellent location, there's no need to drive out once you're there. It's also worth mentioning that the room type was excellent. We, a couple with our parents and child (4 adults), stayed very comfortably in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom interconnected suite. It allowed for both independence and easy communication, adding a lot to our warm trip. We will definitely return to Quanzhou in the future and will choose Quanzhou Hotel again."

"One of my most enjoyable stay not just in Fujian, but in China! I had stayed in hotels that offer lesser but cost premium. This hotel is clean, new, beautifully and thoughtfully designed to every detail. All the staff had been efficient, friendly, polite, helpful and very well-trained (professional yet sincere) in delivering great service. Be it the porter, the receptionist, the concierge or even the staff standing outside the restaurant or the housekeeping staff I walked past. I would go back to the hotel anytime again, not just because of the affordable price but for the experience. Great job there! Ps: I did not take many pics as the photos were exactly as taken in the pics provided."

"The room is a bit dated, but the interior facilities are well-maintained. The only minor issue was the window glass, which was quite dirty, perhaps difficult to keep clean. There's room for improvement in some details; for instance, there was nowhere to hang small laundry items like shorts or underwear to dry. Breakfast was quite mediocre with a very limited selection. Later, after our trip to Meizhou Island, we stayed a night at a Hilton, and their thoughtful little touches were noticeably better than Wanda's, like providing a complimentary breakfast for my child. Perhaps Wanda Hotels are facing some tough times these days. The location is quite convenient, right next to a Wanda shopping mall, which is good for entertaining children. However, the security guard at the entrance needs to improve his service. He seemed solely focused on operating the barrier gate (apparently, it's a strictly controlled road where passengers aren't allowed to be dropped off or picked up directly outside, and non-guest vehicles entering the hotel are charged a rather bizarre 5 RMB 'toll fee'). When we returned by taxi, electric scooters were blocking the entrance, and he made no effort to clear them, leaving guests to ask them to move. Overall, it was an acceptable stay."
