I planned to go to Taitung during the holiday at midnight. I just booked a hotel the day before. The hotel is located next to Chishang City. It is a resort beside the rice fields. The park is quite large, the space is large, the room is very clean, and there are wet and dry facilities Separated, there is also a bathtub where you can relax, and a beautiful swimming pool where you can play in the water! Overall recommendation 👍

The location of the famous hotel is very good! Close to a lot of Taitung food, the landlord is also very good, the landlord's reply to the newsletter is super fast!

It's great because the room is spacious Since Carrefour is 3 minutes away and the post office is 1 minute away, currency exchange is convenient, and the staff tried to help through the translator!
First of all, slippers are not provided, but breakfast is simply bread and Chinese food on the first basement floor in the morning.
There is a dryer and there is a space like a separate room, so I used it here. And there's a big locker with simple toiletries and towels inside! I will visit again when I come to Taidong^^

During the Chinese New Year, two large and two small 4-person rooms, two nights with breakfast buffet, no refrigerator in the room, no wardrobe is very simple, a total of 16k homestays, at this price is really not recommended, I would rather add money to live in a hotel.

GGuest UserTeruma House is a very new, 6 months' old property. Clean, tastefully done in terms of design and comfort. Owner Max is very friendly, hospitable and helpful to share useful info such as suggestions on bicycle rental, places to eat, to visit. There are free coffee and snacks provided in the lobby area for guests. The only downside is the location of property is a bit of a walk from train station. Despite that, I absolutely love my stay there.

GGuest UserRegarding the stay, it is at the perfect location, very close to the railway station of Taitung and center to many scenic spots. The bed is comfortable, the property is clean and well maintained. The team is always available to answer your queries. They go the extra mile to help you with things, full of local knowledge. And those were the 2 amazing days during my solo trip around Taiwan, I get to meet Mei and Alice during my stay. They are the best Host you could ever meet. I didn't even feel that I am staying in a hostel, it's more like home. If you get a chance to meet them, you should talk to them. They are super cool and don't forget to learn how to make Woven Bracelets from them. Alice is the best teacher to learn from. They defined how a hostel should be for travelers. And yes, we prepared Indian Chicken curry together. Don't miss this place, if you are visiting Taitung.

LLiThe hotel is clean and in a good location. There are many places to eat outside and it's not far to walk. It's just that the sound insulation is really not very good.
There are water dispensers on every floor, and you can drink ice water! It’s really needed in Taitung (bonus points)! ! The water is quite delicious.
There are free bicycles you can borrow, which is very convenient for people who don’t have transportation to travel alone. It saves money and effort. You can ride to the beach or go around to see the scenery.
It is recommended that the bicycle be inspected regularly, especially the chain and brake pads. The one I borrowed was in a serious condition of rust and wear. For safety reasons, it is better to check it again before riding.

WWander03316663263I stayed at this hotel in May 9-10, 2023. It was less than ten minutes' walk from the bus stop where I got off, located at the center of a busy area. Since I booked on line, I didn't have the option of including breakfast, so the stuff told me and offered to get me free coupon for breakfast and also upgraded my room. I arrived while the elevator was being maintained (for abut two hours) and before check in time, but the stuff were super helpful and got a room for me, and carried my luggage upstairs for me. The location is perfect, I could walk to the biggest street market and find lots of restaurants nearby. Even though the hotel is on a busy street, it was pretty quiet inside. My biggest surprise was the breakfast. It was located on the top floor with lots of western and Chinese food selections. The best part of this hotel is the friendliness of the stuff, it made me feel at home. As a solo traveler, being able to chat with friendly stuff is very comforting. They answered all my questions, gave me suggestions, the best stuff in my one month long travel in Taiwan. I will definitely stay there when I visit Taitung again.

GGuest UserQuite a bit of walk (15min) from train station. Also very quiet street especially at night. But there are a few hostels and residential houses. Nearest convenient shop is across the road (10min walk) so make sure you have everything you need. A few motorbike rental shops (10-15min walk). If you are driving or riding, then no issue. Room is clean but the lower bunk (3 ladies room on 3/F - no lift) is a little cramp. They have a common area under one of the bed. Not enough hanging space for 3 pax especially the one taking lower bunk. Toilet is clean. Shampoo and body foam provided. Filtered water and kettle also provided on 1/F. If you are back late, the 1/F lights are switched off. But i guess its how residential hostel works. 7/10

I was very excited to participate in the Luye Gaotai Hot Air Balloon Carnival. I no longer have the physical load to drive long distances on the return trip, so I chose Mi Dou, which is a shorter distance. The overall environment is good.
The door lock is an old-style keyhole. The space in the room is quite large, and the bathroom space is also OK. Unfortunately, there is no dry and wet separation. When taking a shower, water will be sprayed into the sink area. In compliance with government policy, the hotel no longer provides bathroom supplies. However, you can still ask for it from the counter like a baby!
What's more painful in the morning is that the curtains on the windows are not enough to block the sun. It's only 4-5 o'clock, and the sky is bright and clear, and the sun shines in through the curtains. It's basically a silent alarm clock.
The food provided for breakfast is very friendly and the coffee is delicious.

Although this might inconvenience some guests, it does contribute to maintaining cleanliness throughout the premises. Unfortunately, I found the room to be a bit claustrophobic. The limited space made it challenging to move around comfortably. However, considering the price, it was within the acceptable range. The room was clean and tidy, which was a positive point.

One aspect that could be improved is the level of service provided. The staff offered minimal assistance during my stay, which led to a lack of personal touch. Despite this, it's worth noting that the basic amenities and necessities were provided.

GGuest UserI had a pleasant stay at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel 4 years ago, so thought I'd try Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II this time, as they are located near to each other, very close to the bus station and Tiehua Village. This is a great location to explore the city. However, other than the superb location and the bigger room, there isn't much else to love about this hotel.
There was literally no service at this branch. Staff were not welcoming and unlike other hotels in Taiwan, they do not greet guests when you are at the lobby. I also never saw any of them smile at guests. In fact, on my first day of check-in, I was blatantly told to check in at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel instead, because ”the hotel is closed for the day”. When I asked how come I was not informed earlier, the staff answered ”because you don't have a Taiwan mobile number”. This is absurd to me, isn't there the Trip.com messaging service where you can contact guests? Very disappointed with the way they handle such cases, no apology at all, and just gives a very transactional feeling. The only time I encountered a staff who greeted me was at the breakfast restaurant.
Room amenities and facilities look like they need proper maintenance, and the windows were so dirty. The bed was also not very comfortable to sleep on.
Lastly, I know Taiwan hotel breakfasts are usually not so nice compared to eating out in the breakfast shops, but the quality of the breakfast was really bad. Seasonal fresh fruit selection was only watermelon on 1 morning, and guava + watermelon on another.
In conclusion, very disappointed with my stay here this time. Will definitely think twice about returning to Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II the next time I visit Taitung again.

Located in the heart of Taitung City
It's very convenient to go anywhere

During holidays, walk to the right when you exit the door and you will see Tiehua Village around the corner.
The bed was very comfortable and the shower room was just the right size.
For lockers, you need to go to the counter outside to pay a deposit and exchange the key.
This deposit will be returned to you👌
The key point is that the room has a large refrigerator with two doors
If you want to buy drinks or need ice souvenirs?
This refrigerator is really convenient👍
Simple and basic toiletries will be provided for you
And you only need to use the machine at the entrance to check in.
If there is a situation
The counter in the building next door where locker keys are exchanged can also assist with this process.
You can check out on your own without going through the counter.
Entry and exit are locked with password
You will be given a receipt after check-in is completed.
That receipt has a unique password for each person.
When you go out, you don’t have to worry about bringing your room card with you to increase the risk of losing it.
The air conditioner is very cold😂
And the temperature can be adjusted by yourself
If you are a backpacker, it is highly recommended to stay here.
The disadvantage is that it is very close to the city center
So around 7 or 8 o'clock in the morning you can hear the sound of cars driving outside.
Also, there is no place to hang clothes or towels in the room
Guests staying consecutively must bring their own triangular clothes hangers
Only then can we hang it next to the bed to dry in the sun.
Note: I live in a male-only bunk bed.
