Find the Cheap Bamber Bridge Hotels

We had a lovely one night stay at the Holiday Inn Express, Preston. The beds were very comfy, nice spacious room, big carpark, and clean modern building. The room had aircon to keep it at a good temperature and meant it was quiet as you didnt have to open a window. Good buffet breakfast of cereals, toast, pastries, yoghurt, fruit, cooked breakfast etc. Really friendly and helpful reception which made check-in much more enjoyable. Much better value and class than the Premier Inns we have been staying in which dont include breakfast and usually dont have aircon.

I initially booked and paid for this stay back in January but due to ill health I could no longer stay. The stay was put on credit for me and less than a week ago I got in touch asking if it was possible to use the stay this weekend just gone due to a mishap with calendar clashes. With no issues or delays, it was instantly organised for myself and my partner to stay there, and our room was even upgraded a larger room which was available at short notice. I questioned late at night when I arrived where I could park due to uncertainties with signage, and was immediately advised whilst I was still in the car! We stayed in the Lime Tree room and it was beautiful! Very modern, thoroughly clean, and there were even tea, coffee, milk, bottled water and snacks available which was a great finishing touch and a saving grace for the unorganised! The bed was extremely comfortable, the bedding is great hotel quality too. We will be regularly visiting Preston for our sport as we compete in a local Strength & Performance gym, and we absolutely will be back. It’s definitely made us rethink about driving up and down the country on the day, and put us at ease after previous bad experiences. Winkley Square Residences is the place to stay if you are ever in Preston, located in a lovely area, and an even nicer place to rest your head, run by very helpful and genuinely nice people. Hats off to you guys👍🏼

We stayed in the Goldfinger room which was beautifully decorated. Bed was comfortable and the high quality toiletries and underfloor heating were a welcome addition. Central location with nearby parking and self-service access worked well. Just a couple of negatives 1) the room wasn't ready on our arrival at 3pm and we had to.meander round town while the cleaning was completed and 2) -possibly related - the milk although unopened was already curdled and one of the bottled waters was already half drunk! And the bath hadn't been properly cleaned. Shame.

Quite frankly we do not know where to start, If I could I would give ZERO stars The only redeeming feature for this hotel (calling it a hotel is a joke) is that it is very close to the M6 making it a perfect stop off on a long journey. The whole place smells of damp really smells it's quite over powering in both the basement corridors & our executive rooms bathroom. How could you possibly call this an executive room, the carpet was minging, the only soft seat chair looked like it was 50 years old which contained so much grime who knows what it had been used for previously. There was a bedside table missing, the furniture looked as if it was from the 1960's. As for the bathroom ZERO ventilation, mould all around the bath & basin, the shower had been leaking meaning the bath side panel was rotten, AND stains on the ceiling clearly from the room above leaking. The food was dire, served in dirty dark unattractive rooms. The night we arrived we went along to the restaurant NO one was seated & we asked for a table - the rude waiter said have you booked, I said no and was told to return to reception to book a table. Talk about jobs worth this attitude was beyond a joke. I wish we had gone by our instincts and ventured to a local pub. We sat down & we're given a fairly extensive menu but then told the chef was off, and only burgers & fish & chips could be served. Our food arrived it was passable BUT very expensive for what it was. The drinks prices were extortionate. At best it was Wimpy standard, but The Ivy prices. We heard other people complain about the poor choice of food available. The breakfast was poor, very slow service by people who clearly did not want to be there, why is this served in the darkest room in the hotel. Perhaps so you can not see how dire the whole experience is ?? All in all it is fair to say we will NEVER return. This place should be demolished and a new hotel built on site. It's 12 o'clock, no one is there, you can't get in, you can only wait until 14:00. The apartment hotel is too small. But it's very clean. There are no cooking utensils in the kitchen.

We just tried to make the booking on 22/10/2022 and luckily there were still available rooms. We were pretty in a rush that day as we accidentally got our booking canceled in another hotel (not IHG Hotel) and were planning to visit Blackpool. But it seemed that hotels in Blackpool were quite expensive, being unaffordable for students like us haha. So we decided to look for a hotel in Preston and thankfully we got such a fantastic IHG hotel. The staff was quite nice and friendly. We asked for a toothbrush in the morning of the second day and just received it immediately from reception after the call. Positive impression. We did not use many of the facilities, as we just had a buffet (British breakfast) at the second day in the morning. Food is delicious and healthier food and green vegetables were also provided. Really appreciate it as a person who really loves eating vegetables more than meat haha.
