Find the Cheap Bromfield Hotels

We had a stopover here on the way from Scotland to Lake District, and we were impressed by the rustic and peaceful environment, as well as the charming vine-covered buildings. Our room was clean, and WiFi was good (considering that we were in the countryside). The breakfast, included in our room rate, was excellent, with generous servings. Try not to bring too much luggage when staying here, as there is no lift in the building and there are multiple doors along the corridors and stairs. The price here is very competitive, compared to hotels in the Lake District.

Fantastic hotel with great staff.Hotel rooms spotless and with everything you need.Food was amazing as well as the service and also well situated to visit Keswick.Personally I thought it was underpriced and would have paid more.Spoke to the manager and other staff who were super friendly and helpful.

This was our second trip to Armathwaite Hall and it didn't disappoint. The staff are excellent and the food is good. The views are lovely of the lake and our room was clean, comfortable and had an excellent bed and terrace. A special mention to Akhil for his skill in cocktail making. The cocktail bar is atmospheric, delicious cocktails and outstanding service. We did ask for a vegan wine and the staff initially were a little confused. However, they went out of their way to find one and agreed to change the menu to reflect this. The Sunday evening deal is good value and the spa was nice and relaxing. There is a very short walk through a wooded area but this could be improved (trees cleared) and better advertised.

Booked in, couldn't do online as no signal during the day , filled out the form in reception which had already been populated only to be questioned there were two people in my room who was the other one? My wife I said, we need her name I was asked , my wife Samantha, of 37 years, I am greatly insulted. At dinner we could have nothing of our choosing of the menu as they had run out of most of it , same applied to the wine. The room was lovely and a totally different experience. The next day at dinner it was as bad if not worse as even less food was available, something like a mozzarella salad wasn't available due to there being no mozzarella, I could have picked that up from the local shop on my way back from our day out! Even less wine was available, total mismanagement on the procurement department, to me it was nothing complicated to realise that if the hotel was going to be busy then supplies need to be well stocked . The staff were appalling and badly trained although the ladies in the morning were on the case but that was no compensation for what we had previously endured. I payed my bill in full as I have concluded that I will never have anything to do with The Inn Collection Group ever again. It seems our views were similar judging by what other guests checking out were saying. One point to note was the food, although not what we wanted was very good and the kitchen staff must be commended on that point.

Just returned from a one night stay. We stayed in the Buttermere room which was perfect for 2 adults and 2 children age 10 and 8. The children loved the pool area and it was great there were floats and toys available to play with. All staff were friendly, helpful and professional. We took advantage of the welcome coffee and cake and soft drinks for the children. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice available. Thank you for your hospitality and we will return.
