"The room appeared a little old, and the bathroom was not the cleanest, but the place itself was nice, with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a lovely garden, a sauna and gym equipments. The breakfast room had a fantastic view of the sea, and the choice of food was varied and delicious. Would definitely recommend."

"Very poor for parking, the steps of the area going for the car park are unsafe for women and children, as there are homeless men sleeping and youngsters smoking ***** in the area, car parking fees are very expensive at £10.90 for one day so I was there for six days, where Premier inn is only £6 90 for one day, on my arrival at the reception even though I was born in Torquay and lived there for 17 years but now living in Thailand I was asked for my passport and I can assure you I was not happy with,"

"The has incredible amenities for the price they charge! Everyone was warm and welcoming and made sure we were catered to at all times during our stay. The rooms were comfortable and what you would expect a standard room too have, the rooms were slightly rough around the edges and had general ware and tear but that didn’t bother us much. Overall very happy with our stay, and will be coming again."

"Superb building in a perfect location for us. We were in a room with a wonderful sea view to wake up to every morning. Breakfast was a very high quality and gave us a great start to the day. Overall the hotel is very clean and every facility will used appears to be maintained to a good standard. Our room was very spacious compared to many other hotels rooms I have stayed in. The bathroom was definitely larger than average and included a good size shower, with plenty of hot water at a good pressure. Even when the other taps were used, the shower seemed to carry on totally unaffected. A couple of small details that would have improved our stay. A working lift, during our visit it was out of order. But this didn't spoil our stay. The other detail would be a small stool ( or similar) in the bathroom. All staff came across as friendly, approachable and helpful, they all seemed keen to ensure that we enjoyed our stay at The Osborne. We took a walk around some of the grounds which all appeared to be very well maintained. We also walked out of the grounds and across the bay at Meadfoot, its a great location to stroll and enjoy the fresh sea air. Would we stay here again? Definitely, we have already discussed our next visit."

"Nice and clean hotel"

"Great hotel, the room was lovely & so was the pool area! We went on the weekend at the start of half term so there was a lot of family’s there & children. I heard the week is better if you don’t want lots of children around but for us this wasn’t an issue. The hotel is very big & there is lots around. It is also in a great location close to the beach, parks & walking distance from the town. We really enjoyed our stay here :)"

"The hotel itself was nice; can’t fault it. Our room however, had a weird, stale smell and was off-putting, with no way to ventilate the room by opening the windows, as you cannot open them - A/C is not a natural ventilation. Bed was comfortable, slept perfectly fine, just not nice waking up with the smell, as mentioned before. Breakfast was good, although I’ve had better."
