FF HonourBooked a last minute break and have to say what a little gem this hotel is.
We were welcomed by the owners Steve & Wendy who the most friendly and down to earth people you would ever wish to meet.
Their attention to detail is second to none.
Complimentary home baked Bakewell tart, fresh milk if needed and an even honesty bar whereby you are trusted to serve your own drinks and settle upon departure.
Never came across this before at any hotel stay, just shows what genuine good people the owners are.
The hotel is immaculate, tastefully decorated and only a few moments stroll to the sea front.
We had the best nights sleep, mattress was extremely comfortable and bed linen was of high quality.
Lovely freshly cooked breakfast made to order with additional fresh continental offerings available.
This hotel failed to disappoint we can’t wait to visit again.

NNehaGreat service and good food. As we entered, the host was welcoming and showed our room. Our room was very clean and they had strict regulations around smoking. Good choice of breakfast options and vegan options were available too.

GGuest UserDon’t miss out on this Devonshire Gem
From the moment I arrived, the delightful hosts made me feel very welcome and at home
The bar/lounge area is the perfect informal place to flop down and relax with a well stocked honesty bar, TV and board games galore
Not only was my room comfortable and spotless, but Shona dishes up a lovely breakfast tailored to your own tastes and requirements, she really does make breakfast just for you!
Cosy, clean, and with a warm welcome for all, treat yourself to an exceptionally great stay at a reasonable price.

AAnonymous UserGreat location just a short walk away from the pier and 10-15 min drive from Babbacombe. Clean, cozy rooms with nice shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. Fantastic, freshly made delicious breakfasts. Thank you Jonathan & Sade for such a pleasant stay!

GGuest UserGreat little hotel with ”off the street” -save parking for motorbikes. Top floor room even had sea view.
Very friendly host that took good care of us :)

GGarfield WrightThe stay was pleasant, the room was basic but clean missed not having a bath and just a shower missed simple things like a hair dryer in the room although when requested at the reception I was given one and lack of choice of coffee and tea in the room.
It was very nice that there was no noise at night and meant a decent night's sleep.
Breakfast was acceptable, but you have to get there early when it comes out hot from the kitchen, or it is all cold from spending to long under the hot plates. The only big downside is it's a good 30mns walk from the town centre although buses seem to run outside the hotel but there is a good-sized car park if you drive.
The room was small but fine for just my 2 nights stay and acceptable. I'm not sure the room size, lack of luxuries and breakfeast beng hit and miss would make it comfortable for a longer stay.

KKingaThe service was nice and helpful, I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The proximity to the sea is a very big plus.

GGuest UserThe location is nice Easy access to train station and buses moving around major attractions. However there isn’t any fridge in the room. The staff is friendly and helpful

LLaura June RobinaGreat hotel, the room was lovely & so was the pool area! We went on the weekend at the start of half term so there was a lot of family’s there & children. I heard the week is better if you don’t want lots of children around but for us this wasn’t an issue. The hotel is very big & there is lots around. It is also in a great location close to the beach, parks & walking distance from the town. We really enjoyed our stay here :)
