"We had an Exceptional Stay it is Highly Recommended!
We recently had the pleasure of staying for almost 2 weeks and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish!
The room was beautiful spacious, modern, and spotless. The bed was super comfortable, and I loved the little touches like we can wash our clothes and the fact that we can cook food. And of course the amazing city view!
The location was also ideal, with easy access to local attractions, shopping, transport, etc. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay, and I would definitely return on our next visit to Phnom Penh.
However, I did notice that the cleaning service on the 26th floor could be improved. The cleaning seemed a bit rushed, and the rooms weren’t as thoroughly cleaned as I would have liked. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it’s something to consider for future stays.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a memorable and relaxing stay with outstanding service. 5 stars all the way!"
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Exceptional Stay and Outstanding Experience!
I recently stayed at this hotel, and from the moment I arrived until the moment I checked out, everything was absolutely exceptional. The hospitality here is truly impressive. Every staff member was friendly, polite, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. Their professionalism and warm service made my stay extremely comfortable.
The rooms were spotless, beautifully maintained, and had a fresh, luxurious feel. The bed was very comfortable, the lighting was perfect, and the bathroom was extremely clean and well-organized. Every small detail in the room showed how much care and effort the hotel puts into guest comfort.
The food was another highlight—delicious, well-prepared, and offered with a great variety, especially during breakfast. The overall environment of the hotel was calm, safe, and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax. The location was also very convenient with easy access to nearby places.
Overall, this hotel gave me a truly memorable and perfect experience. Without any doubt, I will definitely come back again. If you’re looking for a clean, classy, and comfortable stay, this hotel is absolutely the best choice. Highly recommended! ❤️✨"
"I stay here twice a year for business trips, and it's so convenient that all the staff speak Chinese! The breakfast selection is great, I just wish it started at 6 AM. If my flight is at 9 AM, I don't have time to eat."
"We always choose this hotel whenever We are in the area. The location is super convenient, the rate is really reasonable, and the rooms are beautiful clean, comfy, and surprisingly nice for the rate. I also truly appreciate the Manager Rico for going the extra mile with his service and hospitality. It’s just an easy, reliable place to stay, and we will definitely come back and recommend it. 🫶🏻💯"
"Pros:
New and clean hotel room. Spacious room with nice view of the river. Aircon is cooling and the controller works well. Water pressure is good with shower sets from GROHE. Very good gym with sauna, steam room and spa pools.
Cons:
Poor TV signal with limited channels.
Not too comfortable to do work on the desk and uncomfortable chair.
Breakfast selection is limited and taste is so-so."
"Nice hotel and staff. We only stayed one night before our return home, but very pleased. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location but streets are narrow with no sidewalks, so preferred to travel by tuktuk."
"What I Appreciate:
1. Cleanliness: I was very pleased with the hygiene standards; both the bed linens and towels were fresh and clean.
2. Suitability: The room size was perfectly adequate and comfortable for a solo traveler.
Areas for Improvement:
1. Interior Maintenance: The room decor is showing significant wear and tear, specifically with some ”ripped” elements that could use repair or updating to freshen up the space.
2. Facilities: As it is an older building, the elevator is quite small and cramped. Guests with large luggage might find it a bit of a tight squeeze.
3. Lobby Atmosphere: The lobby currently feels like a basic waiting area rather than a welcoming hotel entrance. Adding some decor or seating could help create a more inviting ”hotel vibe.”
***The experience was fair and aligned well with the price point of the stay."
"The hotel's location is great, not far from the city center, and taxis are easily accessible. The front desk staff and other service personnel are exceptionally warm and helpful; they'll proactively assist you with your luggage, provide directions, and inquire about your needs. The rooftop pool is absolutely beautiful, especially when the sun is out, and the sky bar is also perfect for relaxation and entertainment.
The breakfast is quite rich; definitely wake up early to try the croissants, they're delicious, and the rice noodles are good too.
Overall, the stay was excellent! Highly recommended~ Great value for money and a wonderful experience!"
"If you have any need for fast, reliable internet, such as for business, stock market, etc... do NOT stay here. If that's not important to you, this is a fantastic place.
Pro: Decor is awesome in the lobby and rooms (used to be a brewery, polished up vats still in lobby); staff is pleasant and friendly (except the bartender, she didn't seem very joyful... maybe just a bad day), very clean, great shower (careful, the water gets hot enough to steep tea - not kidding).
Con: Internet must be dial-up. I've stayed in $4 a night hostels with better internet, it's absolutely useless here. They say at the counter ”our computers, phones, tv, etc... work fine here... while the tv behind the counter has a frozen screen. I had to go down the street to Brown, Starbucks, or Gloria Jeans (24hr), just to get enough internet to search for a plane ticket. I was told at the hotel that it must be my electronics, but when I informed them that the TV in my room doesn't get internet either (as well as my things work just fine everywhere else), they just kinda stared blankly (it's not their fault, it's management's fault for pinching pennies and paying for the slowest internet in all of Phnom Penh).
Neutral: Nice clean pool but you must wait for the top layer of ice to melt before you jump in... it's most definitely not a pool to relax in (I put this under neutral because I know there are people who like frigid water). And when you get out... no sun, no wind, lots of plants = hordes of mosquitoes."

IIgorSerbiaThe hotel is adorable. The price is cheap compared to Hong Kong or Singapore, but the hotel is at a very high level. I would also like to mention a very helpful and professional staff who always address me with a smile: Theary, Thia and Kosal. They have very strict policies, so I had to pay for late checkout. The rooftop pool was amazing!
GGuest UserThe hotel has a great ambient, nice minimalistic modern design and all the hotel staffs are pleasant and nice. We had a great time staying and will come back again whenever back to Phnom Penh again.
Location is great, a short walk to the King’s Palace and by the riverside promenade.

CCaroZimThis was our second stay at Le Botum. We were upgraded to a family room which was a lovely surprise as it was quite a bit larger and higher up than the original room we had booked - it also had a nice balcony with a great view of the Mekong. The rooftop pool and restaurant have stunning views of the Phnom Penh although the food in the restaurant is very average is is overpriced for what it is. The location of the hotel is very central.
DDr.IELTSNight starts the moment you step outside. Riverside bars, night-market grills and the late-night card games of Kandal Market are all within a five-minute walk; Central Market adds another ten. Staff hand over a map, mark the stalls they eat at after work, and will call a tuktuk if you push past midnight.
Rooms face the street, so the city’s soundtrack motorbikes, clattering woks, bass from a passing speaker comes in through the shutters. Earplugs sit on the nightstand; use them or don’t.
Check-in, drop your bag, go eat. Sleep can wait.

LLilaLiHigh recommendation for this hotel. The best possible location, which is very important in Phnom Penh, delicious breakfast, friendly staff and new, clean and tidy rooms. A very nice experience,we wish we could have stayed longer.
EErik StawAll good except for a particular approach to customer’s finances. I asked them for anti diarrhea medication and hotel staff said that they didn’t have it but they could buy it for me. They sent a security man upstairs but we couldn’t communicate. I used a translation software to say that I wanted one box. They left and never came back. Later I found that he needed money from me to buy the medication. Seriously??? The hotel didn’t have few measly dollars to use to buy the meds?? And then of course add this money to out hotel bill. They had our 20 dollar deposit anyway. Not good to offer help and then screw it up.
SsolenchinaThe hotel is walking distance from the bar and restaurant area. The rooms need a make over, my room was nice (very small window) but then when it started to rain i had a liking in my bed and i had to be changed. As i didnt like the room they put me in, i have seen many of the rooms of the hotel and they all need a make over. The swimming pool is very small and right in the reception which makes it weird. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was not buffet but i loved it. It is a hotel for people who are flexible and who are not looking for luxuries.
Internet worked all the time and the tv has many channels.

GGuest UserGreat views from suite room with windows that can be opened for fresh air. We didn't use air-conditioning. I liked that the appliances like fridge were left unplugged. First time it made me think about whether I really need to buy that cold drink which then means turning on the fridge. So these little things to reduce consumption is good.

GGuest Userthe party was live when i got there. people were screaming and singing and dancing.
i've stayed at bliss & beats a few times- it's basically a tame regular bar that turns up the music at night. i also stayed at mad monkey on a friday night and there was no music or partying, just 2 people dry humping in the hallway and 1 person walking around in his underwear, so not really a crazy party, just an awkward hostel. 88 wasn't like that. 88 was more lit than a club, it was concert level. but it was also concert noise-level and that's painful for my autistic tinnitus ridden ears.
even with the party on the 1st floor, the pod room on the 2nd floor wasn't loud. i could still hear the music but the noise from the fans was more bothering. i was only in there for about an hour and i killed 2 roaches. the restrooms looked dirty.
1/2 of the air conditioners was broke in the 18 bed pod room. the owner thought i was rude about this but i don't understand why. we both used the f word and raised our voice to about the same volume. i was mad because they waited a long time to tell me the air conditioner was broke and i was miserably hot. it's no excuse and i'm ashamed of losing my temper. i don't understand why he was mad at me, but he still refunded me the full amount i paid on trip.com even though trip.com went through agoda so he didn't get paid the full amount (btw- agoda also books through trip.com sometimes and this makes both platforms horrible about giving refunds because they have to get a refund from the other platform 1st). i tried to give him back the difference that he was losing but he stuffed it into my backpack while i was waiting for grab. overall it was good customer service so i recommend this place to stay if you don't care about cleanliness and you want to be where the party's at. you can also experience it without staying there because the bar is open to the public.
