"Best hotel, cozy , clean . All staffs very professional and cooperative, comfortable environment.
Recommend for family and friends.
Value for money .
Best part all amenities available as in 5 stars hotel, gym, pool, restaurant/room service 24 hours."
"Good option if you have a long layover. However please take note that you’ll have to go through the security check (throw all your liquids even though you only just landed and transit from another plane).
The hotel room is nice but extremely COLD (cannot change the aircond temperature as it is centralised) bring your jacket if needed. The counter staff was not as friendly with no proper greeting no smile. Could have been better if they had a basic customer service attitude. Overall stay was okay but will not come again for the longer layover in this hotel ."
"I am super happy with this hotel. Clean rooms, nice stuff, good an reasonable pricing. They let me store my stuff, gave me all the stuff I forgot in my room (😅 typical me) and even helped me booking my taxi etc. If I’ll ever come back to Muscat I’ll definitely try to book a room here again!
Shoutout to the super friendly stuff. Shabnan, Majd and Joy."
"The staff was helpful when attempting to get a taxi but it seems that there are some things that are lost in translation when other inquiries are made. It's odd that sometimes the housekeeping wouldn't understand the need to replace creamer, soap, tissues or toilet paper. We stayed for 9 days. Walking distance to the coast which was nice. The breakfast offerings were adequate but maintaining the temperature of the food was not a priority."
"Good location: a big supermarket and plenty of restaurants nearby plus Oman Avenues Mall and Muscat Grand Mall in just a half hour walking away. City's attractions like Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Opera or Qurum Beach are quite close to the hotel. It takes only about 15-20 minutes to get from there to airport by taxi, and if you would like to take a bus, A1 route stop is not too far on Sultan Qaboos Street.
Hotel staff is very friendly, I especially enjoyed my breakfast time there."
"It's a good budget hotel. The furniture in the rooms is old, but they're clean and have a TV, internet, and a refrigerator. The linens are clean. Toiletries (soap, shampoo, shower gel) and towels are provided. I recommend changing the curtains.
Water was provided daily. We had breakfast, and it was plenty. Shoutout to the restaurant staff – they were very helpful!
But the most important thing is the hotel's location, close to local attractions! There's a Spar supermarket nearby, but you have to drive somewhere to get to a cafe."
"I need to wait 5 min to check-in as the reception is doings something. I feel that the hotel does not put customers first. The room is also not clean but the price is extremely cheap. That’s only good reason for this hotel."
"The price is cheap, we are on a business trip, there are a lot of food around this place, local food, and some Western food. So slow and satisfied, you can also smoke in the room."
"From checking in to checking out it was faultless.
Brilliant hotel, great facilities, great food and awesome customer service!
Room was perfect
Gym was perfect
Pool was perfect
Breakfast was amazing
Coffee bar/ reception area and outside sitting area fantastic.
Also 2 fantastic restaurants outside but attached to the hotel and 4 brilliant coffee shops one of which is a Starbucks and the only one I didn’t visit.
Without doubt I’d stay here again. 10/10 especially for what I paid."
"The hotel is located near the airport. A good option for a layover of 12 hours or more.
All the amenities to get yourself in order and relax.
The only downside is the air conditioner, which blows directly onto the bed. And I couldn't set it up to be comfortable.
I was glad that they checked me in at 10 am."

Amazing
GGuest UserA good hotel in a very nice location. Beautiful sunset in the evening and panoramic view of Muscat coastline. Lovely private beach and good pool. A good selection of restaurants and bars in the hotel. Good Iranian/Omani restaurants. Good happy hours in the bar.
AAJ VergaraComfortable stay.
The room is clean but not as spacious as I expected. It is reasonably priced though, including breakfast.
I had trouble with my booking in the first day as they couldn't validate my payment immediately and was given a twin room instead of a king room. All is sorted out the next day though and I am thankful.
They can improve in monitoring their online booking system and in soundproofing their rooms as it gets noisy in the morning.
Over all, it was a plesant stay. Value for money is unbeatable.
GGuest UserThe service is good. But if you have traveled by your car, you will have to carry your own luggage by stairs from car parking basement for 1 floor. Limited Indian food variety but thank to other Indian restaurants around since the hotel is located at a prime location. 10 on 10 to all the staff.
DDylan_MI would rate my stay at the Mysk Al Mouj Hotel a 7/10. The property is overall good, with a convenient location and a solid breakfast offering. However, there are certain areas that could be improved, which prevented me from giving it a higher score. The pool is a bit small for a hotel of this caliber, and there aren't enough sun loungers for guests. The cleanliness was acceptable, but the reception service was not very efficient and felt a bit slow. While the hotel is slightly on the expensive side for the quality and service provided, the taxi service booked through the hotel was considerably overpriced compared to regular rates.
FFarah Binti RamliI recently stayed at the Golden Tulip Hotel Muscat, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent—central, safe, and close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. It made getting around Muscat really convenient. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and modern amenities. Staff were friendly and professional. Check-in and check-out were smooth and quick. The breakfast buffet was decent, with a mix of local and international options—though I would’ve loved to see a bit more variety day to day.
GGuest___I enjoyed every minute staying here thanks to the guys who arranged a room that fully matched my expectations! Also, beautiful mountain views, very peaceful place. Great people! The team impressed me how attentive they are whenever I had a question or an issue - they made sure it was handled with the high level of professionalism. I was genuinely touched ❤ This friendly and customer-oriented approach made me want to stay longer with them, and I extended this hotel twice. And I definitely get back as soon as I have Oman on my list again to refresh this 10/10 positive experience one more time 🥰

GGuest UserThe hotel is 7 or 8 minutes walk from Qurum Beach, convenient to see the sea view, but there is no large business super nearby, restaurant. I am a girl, traveling alone, and the stay experience at this hotel is very poor. First of all, the taxi at the entrance of the hotel is the hotel's internal car team. The slaughter of passengers is serious and unreasonable. I took it once. The original fare of 5 rias was charged 10 rias. Finally, I took a more detour. When getting off the bus, the Arab driver shouted at me for 2 more riya, quite rude. When I left, I had to take a taxi to the airport and stopped a taxi at the door, but the uncle of the hotel taxi team called the other taxis and forced my luggage to his own trunk, not saying that they had to take the same price. I was angry, but they were unreasonable, and they argued with each other. I called the manager of the hotel, and the manager looked at it and then stood by! Secondly, during my stay, I was knocked on the door by a local drunk man in the next room. I later learned that this hotel has a bar, and the local wind is not good. I did see some local young ladies in and out of the evening dressed in cool clothes. . . The above wrote his own experience, hope to provide reference for the countrymen.
IIsmail_ahamedMy overall experience at Muscat Plaza Hotel was somewhat good. Unfortunately, they lacked many things. For example, the room wasn't fully prepared, and I had to ask for toothpaste, slippers, and a toothbrush.
Additionally, the gym lacked many tools. They only had a treadmill, which is not what I consider a gym. It also closed too early at 9:00 PM.
I was only satisfied with the reception assistance and support
