Find the Cheap Sao Pedro da Afurada Hotels

Porto has always been rated highly so was a little concerned that the Novotel was on the other side of the Douro River. Quickly dismissed on arrival when we were greeted at reception by Aderito Diaspora. A most charming man who made every one signing in to the hotel feel very special - being multilingual helps. Free with advice on what to see, what and where to eat and the best places for shopping. A trip into Porto was a little as €4 and never more than €10 and this included a ride to beautiful shopping complex of El Conte Ingles. So leaving the hustle and bustle of Oporto to the calm of Afurada was a plus. The suggestion to walk down to the quaint fishing village of San Pedro with an Uber to take us back was greatly appreciated as we were able to see the Uber coming right up to our restaurant table. All hotels should have an Aderito Diaspora.

We booked on the Accor site, chose a standard room with early check-in and late check-out. Advance information by e-mail was good, check-in and check-out was super easy. The breakfast was good with a large choice. We also had dinner at the hotel which was not a gourmet meal - but adequate. The room on the second floor was clean, quiet - but hot and stuffy (even though we did what we could to get it cooler and fresher). The location is next to a shopping centre with a large supermarket (Auchan) and theother type of stores you find in such centres. We only spent one night - but used the day to visit World of Wine close by. Went by Bolt back and forth. We chose this hotel for a stay after a river cruise due to the fact that they had early check-in and late check-out.

This hotel arrived late, and it took a relatively early walk. I didn’t take a closer look. First of all, it’s a little difficult to drive alone. The roads in many cities in Portugal mean a little bit of Chongqing. I missed a crossing and got a big circle. Second, the same name. The hotel in the same location has red and green, can't make a mistake in which one is booked, and does not accept each other; third, the room type is small, family travel is not recommended; fourth, the price is slightly more expensive; its five, twenty-four hours There is a meal, it tastes good; six, there is free parking. Because it is too late to take pictures, hygiene is good, if not very concerned about the price can be considered.

Stayed here for another 2 nights. The hotel is clean and sanitary, the breakfast is rich, and the price-performance ratio is high. I will stay here again next time. It is very convenient to have a car. I will also recommend it to my friends. It is a very reliable hotel.

Stayed here for 7 nights and was in 3 different rooms. Good News: Staff is great, especially Joanna and Marina (?) at front desk, and Paulo (?) and other bellman Overall decor is dated and needs refurbishing. Comments re: rooms… Room 234: Larger and very quiet with robe/slippers. Headboard is torn. Bathroom door in the way of toilet & bidet; need to close door to access. … Rm 232: Corner Suite. Beautiful but TOO NOISY. Despite wearing earplugs, closing double-paned windows + lowering electronic blackout shades outside bedroom window, still had trouble sleeping due to street noise (trucks, motorcycles, etc). Noise through evening and early morning hours when bins picked up. Windows need another layer to soundproof… Room 411: New side of hotel, VERY small room; no slippers/robe offered, better layout of bathroom. No view but very quiet. Bad news: For the amount charged per room (almost €200/night or more) + standard hotel tries to maintain, complimentary coffee and water should be available every day of stay, not just day #1. Beautiful view and good food from rooftop bar but VERY SLOW service. Tips: Location is by river so about 1-2 miles from city center which is uphill from hotel. Other option is to use Uber. Tram stop and supermarket conveniently located within 1-2 blocks of hotel. Can take tram toward Dom Luis Bridge to check out restaurants with great river views: Bacalhau (very small and don’t take reservations) or Vinhas d’Alho restaurant next door, takes reservations and has more outdoor seats. Overall: Wonderful, helpful and accommodating staff in lovely location but you could find better value other places, like the many ”AL” accommodations (private apartments similar to Airbnb).

The Hostel was very clean. I love that! And with that balcony in our room, we had the opportunity to enjoy the moonlight. Also the breakfast was really good, literally enough flavors. I definetly want to stay again with these prices! Highly recommed it!! kitchen was equipped with all.

Very clean and cozy hotel. Very attentive staff and willing to help with everything necessary. The rooms are very cozy and comfortable, you can see that the bathrooms have been renovated to make them more comfortable. The breakfast area is very spacious and has a variety of fruits, sausages, pastries and pastries. To add a drawback, it is a little far from the center or leisure areas or restaurants within walking distance.

We had a great stay here. The hotel is approx a picturesque 20 min walk to the city centre. The entrance to the hotel has a bar, restaurant and reception, with a lovely courtyard to the rear. Hotel is spotlessly clean. Our rooms were of adequate size with everything you need, except an iron. The hotel has a laudryservice, but no use of an iron. The food was great. Our only gripe was the slowness of the freshly cooked omelette- chef cooked one at a time which meant a 20 to 30 min wait (and sometimes forgotten about) and the hot buffet isn't on a hot plate, so beans, mushrooms, sausage, bacon and scrambled egg may be cold the later you're there. Our restaurant meal was beautiful. The staff are so kind, professional,hospitable and pleasant. It was my birthday on the Sunday, and that evening there was a bottle of wine and birthday cake left in my room. We fell in love with Porto and will definitely stay at the Vila Gale Porto Ribeira the next time we come here.
