Excellent value for money
The owner was so friendly and accommodating, my room was spotless, had plenty of fresh towels, water, tea and coffee selection plus biscuits! Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Excellent value for money. I would recommend and stay again

Where do I begin. The room was spotless, so clean and warm, with a heated towel rail in the bathroom. Egyptian cotton bedding and a comfy bed. There were little touches that make a place extra special like biscuits and a bar of chocolate with tea, coffee and water. Even a little fridge. The owners were so lovely, as was the breakfast. There is parking on the front for 3 or 4 cars and the beach is at the end of the road. Perfect. Will definitely return.

Lovely friendly hotel in great location
A wonderful overnight stay at this little gem in the heart of Clacton. Easy walk to everything needed locally including the beach. Wonderful hosts couldn't do enough for you and fantastic breakfast. Clean and tidy room with lots of nice touches to make you feel welcome. Would highly recommend.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE & ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
Carol & Peter, their staff, are wonderful hosts. Their attention to every detail is exemplary. This is one of my very best stays ever!! Breakfasts are a magnificent feast! With a superbly cooked breakfast, vast choice of cereals, fresh fruit of the season, assorted fruit juices, yoghurts, toast-a-plenty, to quality teas & coffee. Also a gift of assorted choice of Muffins. Rooms are fastidiously clean, very well appointed! Lovely soft towels that dry you so well, also luxurious bedding. Quality choice of assorted items on hospitality tray in your room, including Fairtrade Chocolate Bar too. Free parking. Very close to the seafront, shops and local bus routes. Thoroughly deserved first class reviews. The Chudleigh is the best of the very, very best!! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, much appreciated. Thank you Carol and Peter.

Super stay in Clacton on the sea.
Comfy bed and clean room. Also excellent breakfast served. Carol was so polite. Overall enjoyable stay and looking for next visit in summer.
