Great place near Colombo Fort. Friendly staff clean room. Nearby some good cafes and restaurants. Everything is in walking distance. We only stayed a short night. Mainly due to taking the very early train to Galle hence the location importance.

Hotel is nothing more than a back street. The hotel could be much better, I thought it was much better. There are restaurants nearby that are quite helpful.
What we didn't like was that we checked in at around 10:00 am and they charged us for giving us the room when the hotel was almost empty... very bad.

The hotel is in a good location, very clean and well organized. Unfortunately I asked for a late check out for the day of my departure and they initially asked me for $10 per hour (that is, $60, for the room on Trip.com I had paid $55…), then they adjusted it to $35 and finally, since I had cancelled the drop off at the airport, they offered me a free late checkout until 3:00 pm. For $12 I got a “daily use” room in the building opposite, with which I also booked the drop off at the airport (at $25 instead of $40, the price requested by Zest Metropole… too bad, if they weren’t so dishonest it would be a great hotel!

A very clean hotel and the service is nice. It's in a very convenient location, but the whole neighbourhood is very noisy. It's not a complaint towards the hotel. If you want a quiet night, you should not choose this area. The whole neighbourhood was filled with loud music until past midnight... The morning time was very quiet. It had a nice roof top where I could feel a nice breeze and watch the locals from the nice distance.

The hotel is right next to Dutch Hospital Shopping Mall. It is about a 10-minute walk from Colombo Fort Station.
The room had a refrigerator, a safe, and a TV, and it was a clean hotel with no problems at all.
When I checked in, they warned me not to take the Tok Tok buses near the hotel.
It's not directly related to the hotel, but when I was walking to nearby Galle Face in the evening, a businessman-like man tried to get me to trust him by saying that he was a security guard for the Prime Minister but that it was after work, that I could see the once-a-year parade, and that his brother works for Toyota, so I definitely ignored him.
