"We stayed for two nights before our flight! Breakfast and dinner were decent! The rooms are small but clean, and have everything you need – shampoo, shower gel, hairdryer, and a kettle! Ocean view!! I just wish there was a small refrigerator in the room!"

"My overall experience at the hotel was excellent. The price fully matches the quality of the services provided. The staff were very polite, attentive, and professional, creating a truly welcoming atmosphere. The location is very convenient — everything you might need is nearby, including shops, public transport stops, a shopping center, cafés, and restaurants, all within walking distance. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with all necessary amenities provided. Overall, my stay was very pleasant, and I would be happy to choose this hotel again in the future."

"Nice rooms, good location, and the staff was very friendly. Good business hotel, but also good for couples and families. Although the booking said ”ocean view”, didn't get a ”full ocean view” room. However, there was a nice view of the city and a partial view of the ocean which was unobstructed. Standard cleanliness and amenities. You have to specifically tell the housekeeping team if you want the bed linens changed. Wi-Fi is a bit jittery and requires you to log in every day for some weird reason, but speed is okay too. Breakfast buffet is nice with a standard spread of local vs continental. Egg hoppers are a bliss, and they'll make yours fresh every morning. Food at the restaurant/lounge is average, but they make a good Long Island Ice Tea at the bar. I was unable to attend breakfast as I had an early flight, requested the front desk to swap out the breakfast for a club sandwich at 3am, they were able to do that. The staff are overall nice and friendly, except for one guy at the reception who for some reason took 1000LKR for a replacement key and didn't want to give me a receipt for it. They also didn't give me a hotel invoice during check-out and said I will have to collect it from Trip.com. While I do have the invoice from Trip.com I found it as standard practice in most other hotels to share a copy of the invoice during checkout."

The facilities are well maintained and comfortable, the food is fresh, tasty, and well presented, and the service is warm and attentive without being intrusive. "Simply fantastic. This hotel is spotless. Everything works. It is grand, quiet hotel. Service is superb. The breakfast was fabulous so was room service. Authentic Sri Lankan cuisine was of a superb presentation, quality & taste. Vatlappam was brilliant. I look forward to when I can return, spend more time and try out the restaurants. Keep it up guys!!"

"WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. Despite a very good start which involved a very helpful early check-in for our group of four travelers (two rooms) and lots of friendly smiles from the hotel reception team, unfortunately our stay took a bit of a negative turn owing to some confusion over two additional bookings we had made to extend our stay following a change in our plans. I really find it hard to understand why this simple process caused confusion to the duty manager. The following day, despite clearly explaining that we had made additional bookings to extend our stay, the desk staff were confused and claimed that one of the room bookings was not confirmed. The duty manager was dismissive to us and actually ignored us, (even though he had perfectly good English to communicate with us), preferring to speak through another member of the reception team who was standing right next to him. After a wait of at least 15 minutes, I told him that we were not prepared to wait any longer and that he could let us know once the issue had been resolved. This was clearly an administrative problem between the hotel and Trip.com which soured our stay. The duty manager was unprofessional and discourteous towards his guests. Our experience left us unwilling to use any of the hotel facilities other than the breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff team exceptional in their service and friendliness. We did use the lounge bar on one occasion and again, found the staff to be friendly and helpful - special mention to Jerushan, with whom we enjoyed a great conversation. He is a credit to the staff team. Perhaps given his people skills, he should be made a manager?! Other than the reception area, the hotel is very tired and in desperate need of an upgrade. In our room, a light switch cover fell off, some bulbs were not working and the room was dirty - a build up of dust in the corners and on the wardrobe louvres which quite obviously suggested the rooms were only being given a superficial clean. As said, we do not recommend this hotel and we will not stay here again. We expect far from a Ramada branded establishment."

"Excellent service by the hotel staff, right from the concierge, reception, housekeeping, and restaurant team. We had a wonderful stay of 10 days. The breakfast has a wide spread, both local and Asian cuisine. The reception staff was friendly and courteous too. I would stay in this hotel again on my next trip."

"Located at the most central avenue of Colombo has very nice view to the Indian Ocean, particularly from the rooftop garden and swimming pool, which probably is the largest in Asia. I was in this garden in 2018 and now is like a roof forest. The gym is well equipped and with panoramic view. The hotel is at the top of the mall, the dream of my wife. Every hour there was a shuttle to a tropical beach just outside Colombo. We did also the complementary half day tour to the city that was well organized. Excellent service and comfort."

"I stayed here solo. I checked in on my birthday, and I was surprised to receive a room upgrade and even a cake and decorations! Every staff member I passed in the hallway wished me a happy birthday! :) :) Since it's a new hotel, the facilities and bathrooms were spotless, and the large windows created a sense of openness. Personally, the gym equipment was new and well-equipped; I'd love to keep going there. I booked a room with lounge access, and the cocktails they served there during happy hour (5:00 PM - 7:00 PM) were delicious! The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and I think it was one of the best in Colombo! Above all, the staff worked well together, making for a comfortable stay."
