Como Hotels with Airport pickup service

Stayed here for 2 nights, for the price the room is great, comfortable bed, spacious and clean. Bathroom is fine, the shower is quite small so bear this in mind. Breakfast was great, lots of sweet options like pastries, tarts etc. Location was 5 minutes or less from the train station so very convenient and 5-10 mins from the ticket place to get the ferry to Bellagio. Overall the hotel was perfect for what wanted and great value for the price.

Service and room are best. Also price is cheap. But there are not kettle , cups , spoons or another things , maybe these are optional things but i need mostly. So overall i recommend this hotel to everyone. A little bit far from Como ( 1 station about 15 min ). It locates in Como Camerlata.

Everything is perfect. The hotel atmosphere and location are truly unique. The only problem was that the wifi was disconnecting frequently, but everything else was an excellent hotel.

My second stay here having stayed in 2018 but wow how Como has changed! It is indeed very touristy now. I asked for the same room as I had last time but after a second night or poor nights sleep from the loud music on the square and the rubbish bottle bins being collected during the night it became unbearable. I was moved to the loft room which was far better however, there was a strong “drain smell” in the rooms, I wished I had brought my pillow spray! The receptionist desk was often unmanned and at times I felt I was treated more like a nuisance than a guest. Given the reception is not manned during the night you just have a spy hole on the doors of the bedrooms for the comfort of travellers, especially solo ones. The staff were usually quite kind and it was great to see a few familiar faces from my last visit. This hotel was amazing last time however standards seemed to have dropped. The luggage storage area didn’t seem particularly safe just a cupboard off the kitchen where I could go and collect my bag without anyone challenging me on where I was going and what I was doing. The area outside was costly for breakfast which I enjoyed and to have drinks in the evening.

Hotel location is very good. Less than 100 meters from the lake and the ticket purchase. It is convenient to eat and travel. The front desk service is good. Breakfast is ok. The room is small and simple. Overall, it is not bad.

PLEASE NOTE….. this is not a 4 star hotel. I really don’t know how this has been classed as 4 star. We stayed a week and what a poor show it was. You can see from my photos how bad it was. We stayed on a half board basis with a wine tasting experience. Certainly was an experience 😂. Basically you were given three glasses of cheap wine. A white, red and rose, all at once. It was poured like water from a bucket. No explanation of what wine or where from. Breakfast was awful. The most depressing breakfast room and all the food that should have been hot was cold as no terrines to keep it warm, only a measly lamp that was hardly warm. Croissants were dry, as was the bread and some of the cakes. No fruit apart from the palest water melon I’ve ever seen. There was coffee in the hot water container and water in the milk container. Some of the tables weren’t laid and if they were, ours on most mornings only had a knife, a cake fork and a teaspoon 😂. Chairs were all over the place and it was far from organised. The two guys in the dining room at dinner had no customer service skills or hospitality skills. I think they were just “winging” it. The food was very poor….apart from the pizza which was ok. There is no bar in the lounge area, which is actually in the breakfast dining room. Consists of only four easy chairs! On the second floor landing area an empty wine bottle stood on the floor most of the week…not taken away. Our shower had mould. We have travelled the world and stayed in 3, 4 and 5 star hotels and this one was the worst. The only thing good about this hotel is the location, but do your research, as I’m sure there are more places to stay in the same area.

There is nothing bad I can say about our stay at this hotel. The location is excellent everything you want is within a short walking distance. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the staff on reception went above and beyond to help me out with a boat trip I had booked through someone else, which was cancelled at the last minute. They tried very hard and succeeded in arranging another trip at very short notice, which meant so much to me as it was one of the highlights of the trip. Our room was at the back but still with nice views, the room itself was lovely with a very nice bathroom and huge walk in shower. There was everything you would want at breakfast, even a glass of prosecco if you wished. I usually went for smoked salmon and scrambled eggs but there was lots more to choose from, bacon, mushrooms, hams, cheeses, fruit, pastries, cereal, yoghurts ect and to top it off the room itself was beautiful and overlooked the lake. We ate in the restaurant on the first day and had an excellent meal, again with very helpful friendly staff. At the front of the hotel there is a terrace area where you can sit and enjoy drinks and snacks, a lovely area to enjoy pre dinner cocktails. I would highly recommend this hotel and Lake Como.

The perfect balance of price, scenery and service. First of all, the location is very good. If there is no self-driving, it is only a few hundred meters from the nearest terminal and bus station. There is a big supermarket within a few hundred meters, so it is convenient to buy everything. The hotel has a perfect view and is located by the lake. You can enjoy the panoramic view of Lake Como from the hotel lobby and the hotel garden. Most of the rooms should have a very good view. No other plan to enjoy the view in the hotel is very satisfying. The overall facilities of the hotel are also ok, 4 stars are no problem, and the bedding is very comfortable, which is considered an excellent level among 4 stars. The breakfast is rich and delicious, with the scenery of the restaurant, very enjoyable. Finally, the service is good, and the staff are very helpful.

Highly recommend DO NOT BOOK that horrible hotel! There are much better accommodations around. 03.09- 04.09 Me & my boyfriend paid 230 euros for one night's stay in that hotel (COMO) The receptionist (Cristian) said the policy of the hotel obliges us to pay the whole amount for accommodation while check-in. So we did. I paid the whole amount in cash. The next day 04.09 hotel charged me again the same whole price for my stay by using my card details. I called reception, and Claudia told me that she will call me back, but she never did, she left home without telling any colleagues about my problem. I called reception again the next day and Claudia when she heard that it's me she said that I have to wait for an answer. I asked her how long because I need my money and I want to know when will I have it back, but she dropped the phone! DROPPED THE PHONE! So I don't even know what to do, it is super humiliating to face such an attitude, should I bag the hotel to get my money back?! They do not reply to the emails, do not call me back, or hang the phone if I call. I don't want to go to the police, but what else can I do?! The hotel in Como and the hotel in Milan have two different owners, so even in Milan, they said that they can not do anything to help me. It's the first time in all my travel experience I face such rudeness and unprofessionalism. Apart from that, we did the checkout at 11.15, so we were 15 min late. The receptionist (Claudia) charged us 15 euros (1 euro per minute) for the late checkout. More of that, she insisted that I should pay as well for the late checkout for the other guests, that Im not related to! Because we booked our rooms at the same time for her it means that we are friends and I will pay for them as well! I couldn't do anything since she had my card, I was obliged to pay. The other guests, paid for their rooms separately, with another card, but Claudia still charged me those 40 euro! That is unacceptable! I was very mad, so I told Claudia the trough ”That is the worst hotel I had ever stayed” and Claudia replied, ”YOU ARE THE WORST CUSTOMER EVER”. Apart from all that, the rooms are very poor, the view is horrible! For many years there are the construction works in front, so that will be the view from your balcony! The walls are so thin that you can literally hear all the conversations of the other guests. The location of the hotel is quite superior, the waiter's attitude is first-rate, and the problems can be solved. If you come again next time, you will choose him again. Carrefour, which is open 24 hours a day, is very convenient.
