The room smelled horrible. The bed was uncomfortable and the light in the room was terrible. The size of the room is large. The restaurant was good but the breakfast was poor. He needs a renovation

The hotel is being refurbished but don't let that out you off. The rooms are spacious with decent bath and shower facilities. The staff are top notch, couldn't be any more friendly or helpful. Decent buffet breakfast too! Once the spa facilities are open again this would be my first pic everytime on a visit to Ipswich.

The room we had was amazing, it was a very large room and bathroom. It was clean but looked a bit dated. Couldn't sign in automatically had to wait for a member of staff, this was a bit of a pain. Breakfast was not great, was asked what type of egg we wanted, this was a nice touch, but the bacon and sausage were certainly overcooked, the apple juice had a very odd taste. A new drinks machine is needed as they t takes so long to make a drink. Overall the room was really good, breakfast let it down.

Do not recommend. Our room was in the annex which must have had an issue with the heating as it was so hot. Our room was adequate but noticed a number of cobwebs and cracks in the ceiling. As we were staying due to a party close by we headed straight out after dropping our bags and did not notice that our toilet did not flush properly. Obviously this was not a nice experience overnight and in the morning checked out and made the staff aware. We received a verbal apology but on asking if we could have a coffee for compensation was told no and that we should have reported it in the middle of the night.
