Hotel Mayfair Reviews

The hotel is very stylish and the location is great. We got the room in the back building. When we checked in the front desk staff escorted us to the room. I thought he was really nice but actually because the room is very difficult to find. We walked to another building in the back of the hotel, took the elevator to second floor, then walked little bit and then walked down the stair to our room. The room is smaller than I expected. It located on the ground floor, close to the dumpster and the hotel kitchen. There is a security right above our window. The worst thing happened at 4.00 am when we woke up because restaurant’s staff threw the trash in the dumpster. It was so loud! I’m pretty sure there were some glasses in the trash bag. We were trying to get back to sleep but couldn’t because other staff keep dumbing trash. It was the worst experience ever! We couldn’t sleep until 6 am the we decided to get up and left the hotel.

The room was very nice and the location is excellent - next to train station and pubs. Just opposite to a ***** club if you fancy some entertainment 😂😂

Location and cleanliness are excellent. Amenities is their weak point but expected in a small hotel. The staff in the evening made the difference (a girl the 16th of July and a guy the 17th), very friendly, accommodating and professional.

The hotel is very cosy and the staff is very nice. It is located near the main train station, highly recommended!

Room was pleasant and cozy, aesthetic was nice (love the window overlooking the streets!) Amenities such as the gym was mediocre, had a quite hard time finding the place though (would be good if the signs were clearer) Cons: no kettle to boil water. Had to constantly go down to the reception area for cups of hot water ＞ quite inconvenient if you need a cup of hot water in the cold weather. Room service was only done if requested at the reception. Requested for a day but room service was not provided:/ perhaps they missed out Overall, a decent hotel and pretty convenient to the downtown

Lovely room and hotel decor, great location! Only issue was the shower door was too small so all the water would get on to the floor and flood the bathroom

I had a great time at the Mayfair hotel . The hotel is new , the rooms are functional and it’s a great location to explore Copenhagen.

Lovely hotel. We had an upgraded modest double room. Room was small but big enough for a short break. Open wardrobe, with clothes steamer and hairdryer. Toiletries included hand wash, hair/body wash and conditioner. Staff very helpful and friendly. Great access to transport, as station is 5min walk. Plenty of coffee shops, bars, shops within walking distance. Would stay again

TLDR: Stay for the location, and make sure to put it in the notes to not be placed in a far-located hotel room if you have parents/ elderly. The positives: The location is very central closed to the Copenhagen central station and Tivoli. The interior is beautifully designed and another positive point is the hospitality. The staff is kind and helpful. The negatives: our room was placed a bit further away from the main building and had to go down the steps. Very unfortunate as my mom was a bit old. So it was a struggle to up and down. There’s no amenities in the room as well, so you can’t make coffee / tea.

The temperature of the room was a bit too warm and quite humid. The noise isolation was poor and the sounds from the hallway were audible.

Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from a metro station. Hotel is clean and staff were polite and helpful. Room cleaning is only available upon request, would have better if the towels were replaced automatically daily. Inadequate lighting in the room though, if not for the daylight flooding in from the windows, is really tough to pack and read in the room. Will likely recommend this hotel to friends who are visiting the city.

Great hotel with good name ties. We paid to upgrade to a deluxe king room and it was lovely.

Convenient location near central railway station, clean and nicely decorated room.
