We booked here for Xmas lunch and have to say that Sarah and her staff were a delight to talk to, friendly, welcoming and the service was first class. Our table next to the window also gave us as stunning view of the Welsh countryside. The food was lovely, well cooked and well presented. This was our first ever Xmas dinner away from home and not knowing what to expect, well, we cannot say anymore than it was everything and more that we could have wished for.

Called in to kill a couple of hours before our stay at the Coed-y-Glyn lodges. Quaint bar area with one of the nicest young ladies we have ever meet. Charlotte was a credit to you 🥰 Also the best service we have had and excellent Prosecco 😉 🥰 🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂

I booked this rather last minute and I’m so glad I did. It was one of those interesting places to stay, it has a nice bar, a lovely immaculate bedroom, with a great view, and a fantastic cooked breakfast - everything freshly cooked. Its close proximity to Llangollen makes it a perfect place to stay whether you’re going to work or simply visiting as a tourist - it’s so conveniently located. I hope to stay again one day.

My sister and I had stopped in for Sunday lunch before setting off on our journey home. We often passed it and said we should try it one day. We are very glad we did. The Sunday roast was lovely, fresh home cooked vegetables. The staff were friendly.

Popped in here for a quick bite to eat. The staff were really friendly, as were the locals at the bar. The food was really good and arrived quickly. We sat outside on a lovely decked area overlooking the beautiful scenery. Can’t fault it, we will definitely return when passing.
