H10 Suites Lanzarote Gardens

Positives of this hotel: *Good location. Walking distant of the centre were most of the bars/shops/restaurants are. *Suite has loads of storage space. *Seperate living area. *Suite spacious for 2 people. *Can swap evening meal for lunch. *No issues geting a sunbed but we did visit in November. *Bus stop right outside hotel and frequent. Negatives: *No drink on arrival from reception. *No help with luggage. There are no lifts so if on top floor is a hike with heavy luggage. *Our suite was dated. Needs a bit of colour. *Bathroom small. Dated. Shower small so if not a size 10 be warned its a tight squeeze. *Room sometimes wasn't serviced till very late afternoon. *Food not great esp for Vegetarians. Some staff think salad and potatoes are a meal. * Can be noisy due to large volume of small children in the restaurant. *Had to pay for safe which for a 4 star hotel is a bit steep. If you want to borrow an iron/iron board its €14 a day. * Have to book evening meal in advance. Can be very busy. They need to extend the dining space. Some nights long queues. *Sound proofing poor. Can hear a lot of noise from other guests. *Reception needs to have copies of bus timetables for guests. Costa Teguise is a lovely resort and we will be back again but not sure if to this hotel. Its more catered for families with young children. The hotel appears tired and seems more of a 3 star hotel not 4.

Hey just writing this quick review as we have only arrived today after being petrified for weeks wondering what we were walking in to. I just want to reassure everyone who are planning on visiting soon, that our 1 bed apartment is SPOTLESS huge in size and has gorgeous views, the staff have been super friendly ensuring our room was ready for us hours before check in time. I plan to update on our departure x

Lovely hotel which is spacious and staff are very pleasant. Great choice of tasty food and even includes premium drinks (Gordon's Gin for example). The bedroom and toilet are quite spacious and benefits from a double wardrobe, LCD TV and desk and a not so cold fridge. Wi-Fi is provided throughout the hotel and has great coverage and strength Disapointed that I had to pay 12 Euros for the safe in the room, and also had to pay 20 Euros for the pool towels, although the towel deposits were returned upon departure. The hotel is in the heat of Costa Teguise (shops and restaurants), and a car rental company conveniently situated opposite. I Would definitely visit again. 👍

I was shocked when I went into our room it was dark and dingy the skirting’s and bottom of door filthy, a horrible pillow I requested another that took 24 hours, no light above wardrobe couldn’t see in and a hinge broken off wardrobe door 2 tiny drawers in wardrobe and no other drawers tonight clothes in, towels so thin and threadbare we had holes in them! Paid for a safe couldn’t work out why we couldn’t make it work and realised the panel was off and all the screws hanging out ! No soap in bathroom when I asked for some was told they had ran out! Only kettle in room no cups or coffee tea making facilities. Complained about the safe and was asked why we were in that room as the hotel staff knew there were problems and I said it’s the one we were given I I was really fed up as I had organised for 15 of us to there some of my friends had amazing rooms upgraded on arrival when I asked for upgrade was told there wasnt any available ! How weird when we were first of our party to check in . My husband also asked for new pillow didn’t get one he complained about this several times and the safe and was told we can move you at 8am in morning but we had already told them we were there for marathon race and would be in way to start line at that time. We also had to report bathroom door as the showers leaked and door swelled up and split making it impossible to shut ! After that we had no more communication from management or staff. On plus side food good, bar staff amazing and the short amount of entertainment was good. Sad that hotel so run down paint peeling everywhere it looked shabby and dirty which is sad as being as it’s under new management you would have thought improvements would be made. Location is amazing but definitely 3 star at a stretch

We visited last year with our son so wanted to return here with our twin daughters also as we knew it was clean, safe, great location and the pools are warm. We had another great stay. We had requested a ground floor room and really hoped we weren’t facing the building work as family rooms are to that side. Room was perfect position! Easy access to both pools and breakfast room, ground floor and no building work seen or heard. All the staff were very friendly but particularly the lifeguard (we heard someone call him Gilbert so may be his name?) and Ava/Ana on reception who were just fantastic so helpful and so friendly. Breakfast is 8-11 which allows you time for a lay in and check out is 12! Great timings so you’re never rushed. Fab food at breakfast, especially the fried eggs and never a queue for anything. Many thanks and hopefully we will be returning again soon.

We stayed in a Luxury Deluxe sea view room with hot tub. The room wasn’t huge and massively lacked storage especially drawers. It also lacked in surface areas. The view from the balcony was spectacular and the hot tub was lovely. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever had in a hotel and the variety of pillows were just lovely. The Tv had a few English channels. I loved the illuminated vanity mirror over the sink. The main negatives for the room were the fact you needed to pay for the safe. The mini bar was stocked but was not free to all inclusive. Usually the mini bar is stocked in most hotels and the first lot of contents free then you pay if you want it restocked. We removed the contents and bought our own from the spar around the corner. I was shocked that there were no bath robes and slippers, especially that the room had a hot tub. This is the first hotel I’ve stayed at that they haven’t been provided. The worst part of the room for us was the lack of privacy in the toilet. It’s just a glass sliding door and leaves nothing to the imagination unfortunately. The food we found to be fantastic and the best we’ve ever had at an all inclusive. The coffee at breakfast was lovely and really liked being able to have a takeaway coffee it was a lovely touch. The lunch particularly at Champs bar was fantastic the food was cooked to order and hot and fresh. The staff in champs were absolutely fantastic. The staff in the buffet restaurant were so friendly. The drinks here especially the cocktails were really good. The service at B Lounge was very slow and on one occasion non existent. We went in one evening and it was almost empty with about 6 tables worth of guests. We waited over 20 minutes and gave up and left as we weren’t served despite getting the waiter’s attention on a few occasions, and also going to the bar to be told sit down and a waiter will serve you. We never drank in there since and went to Champs instead. The bands they had on in the evenings were great. The pool area was lovely and you could find loungers at any point during the day. No sunlounger wars at this hotel. All the staff at the hotel were absolutely fantastic, we loved the “we happy” animation teams guy who does the aqua aerobics and activities. Was suprised to find out on check out that the all inclusive stopped at 12 check out time. We didn’t leave for the airport until 5pm but didn’t arrive until 8pm. Never experienced this on any other hotel. We’ve always been allowed to use all facilities until you leave. Would advise you to check your bill on check out as I had a bill presented to me for drinks charges in Champs that didn’t belong to us. We hadn’t ordered anything that wasn’t included in the AI package and checked the time of all inclusive ending and disputed it as we were back to the room each night by 11:30 and AI finished at 12:30. These charges were removed but i can’t understand how it happened.
