The location of Aifei Hotel in Dali is very good. There is a shopping mall next to it. There are many dining options. The transportation is convenient. You can take bus No. 4 and No. 8 to reach the ancient city. The environment is clean and tidy. The facilities in the room are complete. The bed is very comfortable. The network signal is strong. The front desk told me a room. A gateway with good sound insulation and good lighting. The lady at the front desk was also very attentive and enthusiastic, and she solved all kinds of problems for me very carefully. The most important thing is that the price-performance ratio is really super high. Although it is my first time to stay here, it feels really great. The front desk clerk was very enthusiastic. We liked the quietness and arranged us to rooms 7-12. The hotel facilities are okay. I would like to make a small suggestion to pay more attention to hygiene. The rest is clean, but there is a small hair in the cup😓, which makes it a little uncomfortable. Overall, it’s okay. This should be the best hotel in Dali. But it's because of the very personal service that the concierge gave. Coco went way beyond her responsibilities to meet our requests and even offer more than what we asked for. She always reponded to our weChat text very quickly. Coco really deserves to be rewarded. It reflects a good culture in the hotel as other staff are also very helpful. It really made our stay in Dali memorable. Location of the hotel is also very good; just opposite the cruise terminal and a short walk to many restaurants. The view of the lake from the room is really nice. Breakfast is also good and extensive. If I ever visit Dali again, I will surely stay at Pullman again, and look for Coco.

Overall it’s a good experiences, Guest Relations team proactively recovered my bad experiences when we had the breakfast and extend the check out till 2pm with some amenities and fruits delivery.
Buffet restaurant definitely need more trainings about how to bring more efficient during the peak hours but service staff attitude are very positive. Breakfast food is ok.
Facilities are quite new and well maintained - reception helped to upgrade my rooms as we traveled together and arrange properly. Except the elevator which is quite odd that you have to take excessive steps to lobby.
Location is good near the bottom of the ErHai having a great seat view but if you want to go to the ancient city or some ancient towns to the west of the sea you’d better have a car or you have drivers.

I highly recommend this hotel. Although it is in downtown Dali, it is not far to the high-speed rail station and the ancient city by taxi. It was not the National Day when I checked in, so it was considered the off-season. I upgraded to the 11th-floor sea view room with a great view. I could see Erhai Lake and the sunrise in the room, which was very beautiful.
The drink exchange coupons can be exchanged for drinks on the rooftop above the 12th floor. The exchange types include coffee and wine. The fries and pizza inside are also good, and the price is not too expensive. The drink bar has indoor and outdoor areas. The outdoor rooftop can view Erhai Lake, and the indoor large glass windows can see Cangshan Mountain.
The hotel is very close to the starting point of the Erhai Lake Ecological Corridor. There is a shared battery car downstairs, which can be reached in about 5 minutes. You can travel around the ecological corridor to the Haixi Line, and it is also close to the Xingsheng Bridge, a popular check-in point.
The room hygiene and service attitude are very good. When checking out, the child was given a small rabbit lamp and a box of exquisitely packaged tea. Compared with various homestays, it is still more recommended to stay in a hotel. It is convenient to take a taxi in Dali and the price is cheap.

Maybe it's because it's been open for a long time. The room is very old. I forgot to take pictures. The wooden cabinet in the toilet is rotten. The pictures are the same as the comments! ! Here comes the point. There seems to be bullfrogs on the beach downstairs. They keep croaking. They can still be heard even when the windows are closed. But you can turn on the air conditioner, so you can only hear the sound like an old-fashioned dryer, and you can't hear the bullfrogs. There is an observation deck on the roof where you can watch the sunrise, which is very good. It's also very close to Yangnan Creek, just over 10 minutes' walk away. However, the boss is still quite nice and enthusiastic. He will send some travel guides when you enter the store, which is a good point!

The room is quite satisfactory. The hotel facilities and management are good, better than the homestays in Dali. There is an underground parking garage under the hotel, but it is relatively small and can only accommodate a few cars. If it is full, you need to park in a nearby parking lot. The rooms facing the street are noisy, but it is okay. Overall, I am satisfied and will probably stay here again in the future.

GGuest UserI think this is a really nice hotel and the people are very willing to help you. Breakfast is not a choice, but there is so much good food that comes on a tray. It's a walkable area but the area is incredibly expensive for China. If you're an expat, You should know some things...like 1st of all it's incredibly far from the train station about an hour and a 1/2. Secondly I don't think that the price for the queen suite is fair. I don't know what I can say but it was more expensive than a 4 mandarin grand carlton in other areas of China. While it was nice, the price doesn't reflect what you get. I'd stay here again, for sure, if I was going back to the area, but I would book one of their cheaper rooms. Service was great, but we got here (yes they tried to contact me in advance, but I don't speak much Chinese) and it was quite a puzzle in figuring how to get to the actual hotel. Luckily someone from another hotel was able to help. Once they knew we were here, they shuttled our luggage to the hotel and carried it to our rooms. The people working here are wonderful, but the area is very expensive and room prices for the queen suite are WAY more than you will get elsewhere in China.

Location: Ideally situated on the north side of old town Dali, it's conveniently accessible on foot or by electric bike. The surrounding area boasts a variety of trendy shops, yet remains far enough from the bustling streets to ensure a peaceful atmosphere.
Amenities: The room is equipped with modern amenities and cutting-edge technology, although we unfortunately couldn't fully utilize them due to our limited Chinese language skills. The rooms are immaculately clean, and the bed is incredibly soft and comfortable - I mean soft by Western standards - one of the best beds we've encountered on our trip so far.
Service: I can't praise their service enough! The husband and wife owners went above and beyond, calling us before our arrival to confirm our arrival time. During our stay, they arranged pickup and dropoff services for us, despite the crowds in old town due to the festival. They even helped carry our luggage up and down the stairs. They were kind enough to gift us fridge magnets as farewell gifts. Their helpfulness and valuable tips and recommendations made our stay truly memorable. Dali wouldn't have been the same without the homestay's owners - they deserve far more recognition!

The flowers in the yard are beautiful, and the sea view is unbeatable! I stayed here for another night and saw the sunrise, rainbow, and the full moon over Erhai Lake at night without leaving the house. It was really worth the trip! The breakfast was delicious, and it tasted even better with such a scenery! The boss and the housekeeper were very kind. They helped us contact a chartered car when we left for Lijiang! The kittens are also very cute and photogenic!

Breakfast is a traditional Chinese breakfast with noodles and various dim sum. It was refreshing coming back in the evenings to a small snack from the hotel that generally included warm milk and fresh fruit. The bed is very comfortable. The owner and staff and very kind and will help you to the best of their abilities. I would highly recommend this hotel.

RrobynwhaleyThis hotel is more like a flat, it's in a block of flats meaning cars can't pick you up from the door, you have to walk outside of the community. The view is gorgeous and the hotel will pick you up from the railway station and guide you to your room. It's on the opposite side of the lake to the attractions, which we didn't mind as it was nice and quiet and gives you a different view of the lake. The room is decorated with a lot of tacky toys, literally Teddy bears on the bed like a child's room, if they were gone it would be nicer.
