Zhuyu Inn in Dali ancient city Reviews

We got the entire building to ourselves since we booked out all 5 rooms. There were 2 rooms on the third floor, 2 rooms on the second and 1 room on the ground floor. Rooms were large and each with their own layout. There is a communal area in the basement where we have meals and games of pool. Overall it was a very comfortable stay with quite good food options in the area (or just use meituan)

The service is great and efficient. The location is located in the Dali Castle, very convenient to go anywhere

This place is nice, very Zen style with comfortable/luxury bed/toilet/bathroom. I expected a bit bigger room even though we have a private balcony but it does feel slightly smaller than expected. Maybe due to low futon bed style so feels a bit out of norm. Owner is quiet, but very helpful. Breakfast feels very homy. Location is good, not far from the old town with 10 mins walk. Overall experience was great. I would consider coming back. Dali in general surprised us as we didn't expect to like it that much. If u don't follow the tour and spend more time feeling the town then u will like it. The three pagoda and chongshen temple is a must visit as it is really a place with very good energy!

The location is great, it is inside the old town but at a corner so that we could also enjoy a peaceful stay. The decoration is as beautiful as seen in the photo. The manager gave great recommendations and drivers' contact. Would definitely recommend it to family and friends

Nice room at the edge of 古城，plenty restaurants around the hotel, easy walking distance 古城. Thanks for the free upgrade to the roof top room which is good size with sky window. Breakfast room is very pretty.

We love the location - it’s in ancient city but at the end of a smaller lane which is super quiet and convenient. There’s supermarket and lots of restaurants nearby, less than 500m walk you’ll get to the busiest area of ancient city. Host is very nice to us, he offered to pick us up from railway station, prepared fruit platter and tea for us and shared a lot of travel tips with us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as the host made us feel like home, he’s experienced with the itinerary planning and connected us to a really good local driver who’s super professional and warm-hearted. Breakfast is prepared freshly by the kitchen auntie, she’s very sweet and you can let them know if you want to eat earlier than the normal breakfast hours. Room design is artistic, suitable for couples.

A very lovely quaint hotel with great design and amenities are of the best so far in the China trip. Amazing shower cute sim terrace in our room and fantastic services provided by Xiao Gao!

A great, fully self-contained, well-designed single-family house, perfect for a trip with friends. The welcome fruit is very luxurious, the homemade Pu'er tea has a unique flavor, and hand-brewed tea and tea drinking equipment are also provided. The boss is super nice, helping with luggage transportation, explaining room facilities, providing travel guides, and solving problems in a timely manner. When leaving the hotel on the 24th, we also gave away peace apples, which was full of emotional value!

The small independent courtyard is in a very good location. The ancient city is right outside the door. The environment is clean and sanitary. There is also an independent kitchen and laundry room that can be used. The owner of the B&B is also very enthusiastic and gives away a lot of delicious fruits, which is very suitable for families.

The room is in cement gray style, very distinctive and comfortable! There is a parking lot at the door, which is convenient for friends who drive! It is not far from the ancient town, and you can reach Renmin Road in Dali Ancient Town in 10 minutes!

The environment is good, there is free parking, and you can walk wherever you want. It is worth recommending! In the noisy Dali Ancient City, it is quiet. If you have time, you can really stay a few more days.

The breakfast was also very rich. The surrounding transportation was convenient. When I left, the boss also gave me a souvenir. I was very satisfied with the stay experience this time.
