The hotel is on the main road leading to the ancient city. The front door is very unique and the garden is small and exquisite. The children like to watch the water and fish very much. The room we stayed in was very large and exactly the same as the photos. The room was decorated in an antique style. The most eye-catching thing was the super large round bathtub. My husband and son had a very comfortable bath 😌. The only downside might be the breakfast. I don't know if it was because of the off-season so there were very few varieties. I saw other people's comments saying that it was very rich and I don't know why it was inconsistent. I wanted to get a cup of hot milk for my son but there was none. I hope it can be improved in the future. Overall, I still recommend staying here.

The homestay is good and the cleanliness is decent, though there were some dirty areas in the shower edges and the toilet had a strong urine smell. Other than this, towels, bed, etc were relatively clean.
Service was great and staff were responsive and friendly. One minor annoyance is the requirement of a 200 rmb deposit. And additionally the hotel is closed and locked from the outside after around 10-11pm and before 9am ish, So if you plan on coming later or earlier, be sure to notify the staff beforehand.
Location depends on one’s preference of the Dali old city, I personally found the area to be overtouristy and inauthentic. And difficult to find scooters or transit. Traffic is horrible here during the summer season. Though the dali pagoda towers being located so close is a benefit of this location.
The wifi was exceptionally slow, roaming data was much faster and connecting more than one device made it unbearable to browse. Other amenities are typical. Laundry service is often busy.

The room is very spacious and clean, and the pillows are very comfortable. Dali is relatively dry. I actually found that the boss has prepared body lotion for guests to use. How considerate! You can see the Erhai Lake from the terrace, and you can also see the sunset from the rooftop. It also provides a kitchen, which is great! !
Stayed for two nights and used an electric car for one day: the inn is very close to the surrounding area and it is very convenient to go everywhere. We went to Cangshan Jizhao Temple, March Street, Beimen Market, and Dali Ancient City. I recommend everyone to stay there!

Hidden gem (stay) found in Dali! The interior and exterior of the b&b was superb, with a lake at the patio and several seats to chill on! The room was very cozy, equipped with all required amenities (with a Dyson hairdyer!). Balcony view overlooking the patio was also great, with a sneak peek of mountain.
Location of the b&b was really good too, with a short 7 minutes walk to Dali Ancient City. The place was quiet, with eateries and convenient store nearby. It was quiet at night as compared to stays in Ancient City where they will be some tourist crowd.

GGuest UserThis is the most homely B&B I have stayed in in the past few years. The family is very welcoming and the whole check-in process is very pleasant. Don’t worry, the boss will come over to guide you when you get off the car. The location is also very easy to find. Get off the car and walk a few steps. When we arrived, the boss and his wife rushed to pick up our luggage and took us all the way to the B&B to check in. They also thoughtfully helped us take the luggage to the room and introduced the Xiaodu smart control in the room, the use of air conditioners, and the wifi password. Wait, it is really considerate. The second thing that comes into view is that the layout of the room is very simple and fresh, with complete facilities and meticulous hygiene. The landlady also answers all questions and recommends all kinds of delicious food and various ways to play. It’s cost-effective and doesn’t involve any pitfalls. Area : It’s located in a village near the city center 20 minutes and about the same to the ancient town. It’s per dominantly a Muslim town , so you will find lots of BBQ and Halal eats. Also shops for simple basics are available. The town comes alive after 5:00 pm.
Food : You can order Weimai like McDonald’s and KFC for example, nothing western around. We got breakfast daily, as you can see it’s a set menu. But we enjoyed it , the options were plenty. Also, every afternoon they brought an afternoon snack , super nice and a great touch.
Room / Hygiene: The room we picked had the balcony, it was spacious the bed was comfortable. The stand alone bath was clean, and the bathrooms as well. Toiletries and slippers provided. The hotel can use some changing or cleaning of rugs and dust a bit on the corners. Over all it was good.
Transport : You need to get a taxi to go places , or take the bus. Not sure if it’s because it’s summer but getting a taxi was not very pleasant. I took the bus #2 in front of the village to go to the mall. Easy 2 RMB you can use your apple map.
Customer Service : The customer service was nice , the ladies were helpful in finding a place for COVID test. Our last day they arranged a driver , it was hard to get transportation.
Over all , it was a nice stay I only picked this hotel due to the view. If you want more action stay near the ancient town.
