Wanting to experience a cave-like stay, my friend and I booked this hotel. Even before we arrived, they arranged a complimentary pickup from the station for us – truly going above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction, cost no object! They even upgraded our room. The hotel room was simple yet elegant, the bedding was comfortable, and the Kohler fixtures in the shower really showed a commitment to quality. For a scenic area like Ideal Kingdom, this place offers great value for money. Having a smart speaker like 'Xiao Du' for music at night was a nice touch. Breakfast was a delicious Yunnan-style rice noodle, served with grains, fruit, and eggs. After breakfast, we headed to the 5th-floor rooftop for some amazing views – and best of all, it was free! If you're looking for good value in Ideal Kingdom, this is definitely the place to stay.
The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-lit, and the bedding is soft, ensuring a very restful sleep. The service is warm, attentive, and prompt, with thoughtful and heartwarming touches in the details. The hygiene is impeccable with no unpleasant odors, and the facilities are complete and practical. The breakfast offers a rich variety of fresh and delicious options. Overall, it's great value for money, and the stay experience was superb. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip.
Extra large rooms, unparalleled views, complete facilities, neat and clean, everyone feels that this is the best store and room on the island! I also like the design of the entire lobby, low-key and atmospheric! Log tables and chairs. In the evening, the store owner slides and closes the entire row of floor-to-ceiling doors and windows. The evening breeze is blowing and the waves are sparkling. Five steps away, you face the Erhai Lake. You can sit here to dine, drink beer, listen to music, take photos, and watch white seabirds. Flying over...the beautiful Erhai Lake...the beautiful Jinsuo Island...ps: The scenery in the photo was taken in the room
It was my first time staying in such a B&B. It was as warm as my own home. The rooms were clean and tidy, decorated in Chinese solid wood style, antique. When I opened the curtains, I could see Erhai Lake below. It was even more beautiful to sit on the terrace and enjoy the scenery of Erhai Lake. The courtyard was surrounded by green trees. A bougainvillea tree that the owner said was more than 50 years old lay across the gate, forming a beautiful scenery. The owner of the B&B was warm and hospitable. If there was anything, he could solve it immediately by calling. It was really worth it to find Ruzhijia B&B this time. I will stay in this B&B again next time I go to Dali.
If you want to visit Dali, I don't recommend Jinsuo Island. There are almost no entertainment facilities, just some temples to visit.
But if you have enough time and want to feel the tranquility of the island, you can stay on the island for two nights. Since you are on Jinsuo Island, I still recommend the B&B. It is very cost-effective. You can see Erhai Lake and sunrise in the room.
To go to the island, you need to buy a ticket for ¥10 per person, including round trip. It is very fast and you won't get seasick. The room is very spacious. It is considered that the owner of the B&B is willing to decorate it. There are many floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and the visual effect is very good.
For breakfast, you can't choose it. From 8:00 to 9:30, the rice noodles are delicious and a little spicy, and there are also egg, corn, sweet potato, white porridge, etc.
If you take a tricycle from the B&B to the pier, it takes less than 10 minutes. The owner will help pick you up. It is very exciting and the road is very narrow. If you walk by yourself, it will take about 15 minutes.
As for sound insulation, it depends on the quality of the tourists who live in the B&B together. You can hear almost all the sounds passing by in the corridor. There are birds singing in the morning. Overall, it is still very comfortable to sleep. The pillows and mattresses are very comfortable. There are bathtubs and bathtub bags. If the temperature is low, you can turn on the air conditioner or electric blanket.
Overall, this one is highly recommended.
Extremely satisfied! This place is incredibly picturesque. If you're looking for a pure escape to watch the sea, relax, and unwind, I'd highly recommend this hotel. It's uniquely located on Jinsuo Island. The journey might be a bit tricky, as you'll need to take a boat to the island with your luggage, and the boat is quite old. After disembarking, you'll still need to take a tuk-tuk through winding paths to reach the front desk. However, once you arrive and step inside, you'll realize it was all worth it. The sea views are absolutely stunning, and every photo you take here turns out amazing.
Finally found a homestay in Dali where you can watch the sea quietly! I chose An B&B on Jinsuo Island. The island also retains the fireworks of the local village. There is no bustling crowd in the ancient city, and it will be quiet as soon as I go to the island.
The homestay is a designer custom model, not the same net red decoration, the aesthetic is high-end and comfortable. The view of the sea view room we lived in was too pleasant. The 270° floor-to-ceiling windows directly put the Bohai Sea and Cangshan frame into the room, and you can watch the sunset on the sea when you lie down.
I like the viewing bathtub in the room the most, put a pool of hot water, accompanied by the sound of rain or evening wind, and watch the Erhai Lake outside the window empty, the atmosphere is directly full. The spare parts are very willing to work hard, Hansgrohe bathroom, L'Occitane wash, Dyson hair dryer, Marshall stereo, the details are not lost to high-end hotels, the bedding is soft, and the night sleeps very peacefully.
One-to-one butler service is particularly comfortable. I communicated the itinerary in advance and gave a lot of locals private play guides. It was intimate but not excessively disturbed. The sense of proportion was just right.
This trip is more like a holiday feast between the mountains and the sea, away from the fatigue of the city, slow down to feel the unique gentleness of the sky, come to Dali must experience it once!
Returning to Dali from Jizu Mountain, I temporarily chose to stay at Jinsuo Island. I have been to Dali many times, and this is my first time on the island. This hotel is indeed the most satisfactory one. The room has an unbeatable sea view. You can see the sea and the sunrise while lying on the bed. The facilities are very smart and the hygiene is also very clean. Super cost-effective!
The breakfast in the sea view restaurant is also a little surprise.
A 270-degree panoramic sea view king room! The room was spacious and very clean; any problems can be resolved by simply calling the owner. I especially recommend the sunrise! Photos can't capture its beauty! You have to see it! I highly suggest staying overnight on Jinshuo Island when you travel to Dali; the island is still undeveloped! You need to take a cruise to get there. The island is very peaceful; mostly inhabited by locals, very relaxing 😌
This guesthouse boasts an absolutely stunning environment and scenery. I was captivated by the view the moment I arrived on the first day and immediately booked a second. The scenery was truly breathtaking. The guesthouse is staffed by a friendly and welcoming woman named Yang, and the local islanders are incredibly kind and welcoming. If you prefer peace and quiet, or are traveling with children, this is truly the perfect choice. The location directly faces Longkan Wharf, offering absolutely spectacular sunset views. I will definitely come back!!!

Jinsuo Island is a fishing village that has preserved its original ecology well. The original residents and lifestyle on the island are very simple. Shiguang fits in very well with the island. The quiet and cozy environment makes people can't help but immerse themselves in this atmosphere. This is our favorite way of traveling. We can feel it without rushing or slowing down.
The boss is very nice. He not only recommends tour routes and provides the most considerate services, but also provides ”rescue” on the island. When we were wandering around the island on the day we left, we encountered a German Shepherd blocking the road, so we had to call the boss for help. It can be regarded as a travel adventure. Thank you very much for the boss's help.
This time, due to time reasons, I couldn't stay longer. If I have the opportunity to come to Jinsuo Island next time, I will definitely bring our books to meet Shiguang again.
