Nice B&B in a good location. Unfortunately room #6 on top floor overlooks pubs on the opposite side of the street and there were significant noise to disturb sleeping

This charming boutique hotel in Dartmouth is a true gem! The location is ideal—just a short stroll to the waterfront, local shops, and delightful cafes. It’s the perfect spot for exploring the area without needing a car. The food was a highlight. Breakfasts featured fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, and you can tell the kitchen takes pride in every dish. The menu offered something new and delicious each day, making dining here a treat. The rooms were very comfortable, with cozy beds and thoughtful decor that made it feel like a home away from home. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and welcoming, with attentive staff who seemed genuinely invested in ensuring we had a great stay. Overall, this boutique hotel is a wonderful choice for anyone visiting Dartmouth. From the great location and superb food to the comfort and quality service, it’s a fantastic place to relax and enjoy this beautiful area.

Lovely little hotel with a friendly welcome and lovely breakfast. Perfect base for exploring town and beyond. Clean room and great shower. Thank you for the welcome Prosecco on arrival. Nice to have fresh coffee available in the room. This place really feels like the owners are trying hard to please guests.

In general the hotel was very good and serving staff friendly. If they employed diligent house keepers I would give this hotel a much higher rating.

A somewhat indifferent attitude on arrival. Poor info on parking vouchers. Breakfast staff on Sunday morning could have been more helpful.
Breakfasts generally good although not on Sunday morning when staff seemed unprepared.

Browns is a beautiful hotel. Small and friendly with great attention to detail in everything- the rooms, the toiletries, the breakfast, the atmosphere. Mike and. Susan are great hosts, always helpful and calm and so gentle. Would highly recommend Browns.

Great little hotel, lovely room with very comfy bed and the most gorgeous shower gel! Breakfast was superb with great choices and even went off menu just for us ☺️ Also had lovely evening meal. Good staff, excellent location and would highly recommend.

No parking available on-site but the hotel can provide a parking permit (fee payable) to park in the local council car park which is about 6 minutes walk. You can briefly park outside the hotel go collect a permit Hotel very centrally located Staff very friendly and welcoming Older building - very well decorated There is no lift - staircase is a little narrow so do check if you have mobility issues Breakfast was great and freshly cooked to order The accommodation was pricy for the size of the room but Dartmouth is an expensive location with limited options for budget travellers
