The lobby is quite grand. A small part of it is used for wedding photography. Guests can rest. There is a sofa, but it is not easy to find. It is hidden behind a wall. Some comments say that you can't sit on it. I specifically looked for a place to sit, but it is not easy to find. 5. The room is very large, the bathroom is very large, the facilities are average, and the TV is very small, about 40 inches (not quite accurate). The carpet is a geometric pattern, which is very dazzling. I personally don't like it. It depends on the person! The room is not well lit. There is a very weird table lamp on the table. The location is very good. I stayed in another homestay on the list the day before. I was not satisfied and moved to Yunzhong. Then I found that the location is much better. The bell tower and drum tower are around. It is very convenient for dining and sightseeing. It is the fireworks we want. But the inn is very quiet, and there is no noise to affect the rest. The service is very thoughtful, and every staff is very kind. We ordered fruit for takeout. Not only did they put it in the refrigerator for us, but they also told us that the inn has its own watermelon. If you want to eat it, just tell them. We changed the ticket temporarily, and they helped us contact the car to the high-speed rail station at 2:30 in the morning. The most touching thing is that the inn also arranged a brother to send my daughter to the car waiting on the street outside. When the door opened at 2:20am, the brother was sitting quietly in the yard waiting, getting up earlier than us. I am really grateful. The business car of the inn feels bigger than the general business car, and the master who took us to the airport is also very polite. Helped us upgrade the room, and it was not crowded after adding a bed, and there was a smart toilet. The courtyard with several entrances is very tasteful, but it’s a pity that I didn’t have time to take a closer look. We also gave local souvenirs before leaving. We spent 9 days in Shanxi and this was the most satisfying homestay.

When we arrived we were given the wrong room in B tower with single beds, we had to go back downstairs and show the booking again to request the correct double room in A tower. The rooms and amenities are old, and the fridge is broken. I called reception who told me to bring any items I want to cool down to the reception and use their fridge, when I asked if we can swap the broken fridge for a working fridge, they said all of the fridges are like this. They won't admit the fridges are all broken, but all of the fridges in the hotel are warm and won't make your food / beverages cold. The hotel is in dire need of an upgrade, and they need to replace the fridges.

Advantages: You can see the night view facing the ancient city. Regrets: The high-rise building looks nice from the outside, but the hardware inside is too old. It really doesn't match the price, and is not as good as some chain economy business hotels. Of course, there is a higher premium on holidays. The bed is said to be 1.2M, but I don't know why it is smaller than the bed in the standard room elsewhere. Finally, I still want to thank the souvenirs, aged vinegar + millet.
