We loved this hotel! Fabian and all of the front desk staff where amazing and made us feel so welcome. It's very close to the train station and walking distance to old town. Breakfast was also good in the M Lounge and the view from our junior suite was amazing. Our only complaint is the elevator situation. We almost missed our flight because it took us 30 minutes to get down. Only 2 out of 3 elevators where working the day we were leaving. Otherwise, it's a great hotel!

My work brings me to Zürich many times each year, often several times each month. And my company usually books us at this property. I’ve probably spent more than 50 nights at this Marriott property over the last several years. I used to enjoy my stays here, but the hotel seems to be getting worn down, and is now overrun with cruise and bus tour customers, which can often overwhelm the staff. and leave the rest of their guests with lengthy waits for assistance. Normally, Renaissance properties are among my favorite Marriott brands, and one of my “go-to” hotels when traveling for pleasure, but this hotel has seen better days. The rooms are spartan and dull, the decor is dated, and they REALLY need to upgrade their bedding and mattresses. As a Lifetime BonVoy Platinum Elite member, I am entitled to Club lounge access, free breakfast, and room upgrades, among other perks. Their new SkyLounge is an improvement, but isn’t very inviting and their beverage/snack options need improvement. The breakfast buffet is more what you’d expect to find at a budget-brand hotel, with uninspired food, bad coffee and overall pretty tasteless. Thankfully it’s free, as I wouldn’t pay for it (and the isolated location doesn’t provide many alternatives). The staff try their best to be polite, but are often overwhelmed and exhausted by the tour groups. And they can be a bit surly at times. If you have a choice, stay elsewhere. You can get much better accommodations/service for the price.

It seems clear to me that the quality of customer service in travel has greatly deteriorated in the last three years. I understand that service providers have trouble finding and retaining people and the ones they have often don’t seem to take pride in their work. Sadly, I’ve come to accept this as the “new normal.” Which is why our recent three-night stay at the Park Hyatt in Zurich was such a welcome surprise. Not only was our room clean and comfortable but the service we received, from start to finish, was efficient and personal. Just a few examples: We had a flight delay and airport transfer difficulty arriving to Zurich and did not get to the hotel until after 1:00. The gentleman working the front desk who checked us in, got us waters, helped with our bags and personally escorted us to our rooms. He was also working the next night when we returned to the hotel after dinner. He spotted us coming through the lobby and literally ran over from the front desk, greeted us by name and asked if our room was acceptable and if there was anything he could do for us. The housekeeping staff are a bunch of ninjas. You never saw their carts in the hall but we’d leave in the morning and when we returned in the afternoon the room was made up. Perfectly. We’d leave for dinner and when we returned the room was turned down. Perfectly. We had drinks the first night at the Onyx Bar. When we returned the next night, the bartender remembered both our names and our drinks. We interacted on several occasions with the daytime concierge. I wish I remembered his name. It wasn’t just that he was knowledgeable about Zurich and responded immediately to our requests. He acted like speaking to us was the absolute highlight of his day. I know these are all little things but they added up to a wonderful stay. Plus, the hotel couldn’t be more conveniently located. Staying at the Park was a luxury item for us but, let’s face it, traveling anywhere in Switzerland is a luxury item. I would return to the Park for their level of personal service in a minute.

Because it is a suite, the area of the hotel is the largest among all the rooms in Switzerland for 8 days. I live in the suite 4e in the residential area. It is very quiet and clean. The room hardware is very particular and the details are good. Very close to Lake Zurich, 3 minutes walk to the lake. Toiletries are L’Occitane single, non-alcoholic beverages in the mini bar are free, and breakfast is the most abundant in the Swiss itinerary, but from a Chinese perspective, there are still very few varieties. The surrounding area is not far from the tram and railway station, it is convenient to travel, there are many places to eat around, there is no shopping and small supermarket. The service is very caring, the waiter will chat with you, ask what you need, and explain very carefully. The kettle needs to be requested by the front desk, the toilet and shower space in the room is relatively small, the room is a bit old, it is well maintained, and most people can accept it.

To begin with the conclusion, if I have the opportunity to visit Switzerland again, I will definitely stay at this hotel. From May 26 to June 8, I stayed at various hotels in Paris, France, and several regions in Switzerland. Compared to Palaces-rated hotels like Hôtel Le Park Hyatt Paris Vendôme and Hôtel Le Cheval Blanc in France, my experience here was even better. The hotel's location, the perfection of the rooms, the comfort of the bedding, the detailed concierge service, and especially the Michelin 1-star restaurant's cuisine were fantastic. Everything was just top-notch. From a price perspective, considering the satisfaction this hotel provides, it is very reasonable. Although I am satisfied with every aspect of this hotel, I believe that the ultimate determinant of satisfaction from the infrastructure and systems is always the role of the people. From this perspective, I think the role of the doorman, who gives the first and last impression, is very important. The staff member in question at this hotel was the best among all the hotels I visited. I am truly grateful. (I was so thankful that I even asked to take a photo with him.. :) ) Of course, everyone treated me kindly and with great courtesy. Among the hotel staff, the managers seemed slightly arrogant, but I considered it confidence in their service. I want to thank all the staff members who made the end of my vacation wonderful.

I’ve never been so disappointed in my entire life. Today is Christmas Eve also the date of our check in at Five, in Zurich. When we arrived there was no one to help with our luggage or valet our vehicle. So we drove away from the front of the building and proceeded to park in public parking. We carry our three checked bags and our carry ons up a hill and all the way to the lobby, for the valet attendant to finally help us with our luggage and when I mean help I loaded in on the trolly and started pushing it and he kinda of just came and took over after I was already in the building and at the reception desk. After checking in we proceeded to our room, I went to get into the shower after a long day of travel and noticed the shower wasn’t draining and the bathroom was flooding. So we called and they said they were sending someone up. After about 45 minutes and three phone calls someone finally arrived. After they messed with the drain for 15 minutes they told us we needed a new room. So now we have to wait for someone to come and bring us to our new room as they requested. They told us they already check out the room/bathroom and everything was ok. Well it wasn't, this time the shower head was spraying water all over the ceiling and of course now they have to move us to a new room again. This all took about 3 hours which completely wasted our night and our Christmas Eve, I would expect that after all this they would at least would at least buy us a dinner or put us in a better room but nothing, not even a sorry from the front desk for this horrible inconvenience on Christmas Eve. They finally room they gave us didn’t even have conditioner or an outlet for the blow dryer for my fiancé to finally shower in the 3rd same level room.

Location: Excellent. It takes about 10 minutes to get to Zurich Main Station by train from Zurich Airport. This hotel is just across the road from the main train station, one or two hundred meters away. Room environment: Not very new, but completely acceptable. The decoration is relatively exquisite. The suite I booked has free minibar and snacks (except alcoholic beverages/wines) Service: Contact the agent with Ctrip in advance to communicate about early check-in. The answer is that if there is a room available, you can check in in advance. We arrived at the hotel at 10:30 am and the room was ready for smooth check-in; both the front desk and the door bellman gave us a very friendly feeling. ;After checking out, two bottles of mineral water were given as a gift. Room hygiene: There are two bathrooms in the suite. Toiletries such as toothpaste and toothbrush are provided. Samples of Swiss Dabao skin care products are also provided. There are welcome fruits and turndown service. Good night chocolates are also provided. Breakfast: The dining environment is not big, but the decoration is very nice. The service is also very nice. In addition to the buffet area, you can also order meals, both paid and free. Guests in the suites have champagne breakfast. Those who order for a fee are also free. You can also order a glass of champagne per person. Overall: In Zurich, where land is at a premium, I feel that the price/performance ratio is very high. The only drawback is that there is no view outside the window of my room. It is very close to the building opposite. The advantage of this is that it is relatively quiet. I haven't written a comment n times, but for everyone's convenience in finding a hotel, it's still a bit bloody! The location of the hotel is 100 meters from the train station, the city center, the room can accommodate three families, the second floor attic also has a top floor terrace, the room has more than 100 square meters, a separate kitchen, two toilets, and a jacuzzi. Zurich can hardly imagine such a value-for-money apartment (the average hotel room area in Zurich is 14-15 square meters). After setting, pay attention to receiving emails. It is a large apartment. Lovely welcome and stay at Hotel St. Gotthard, Our rooms were well appointed with the most comfortable and cozy bedding! Tall ceilings and lots of room for giant suitcaes. Zaour at the Front Desk went above and beyond to help us with massage reservations and dinner suggestions. He was kind and patient and everything you would hope from a lovely hotel. Just up the street from the train station, the location was just perfect. We stayed 2 nights in September of 2022 and will definitely be back! Thank you!

We arrived a day early for our tour and didn’t think our room would be available yet, but the front staff asked for 15 minutes to check with house keeping. We lucked out and our rooms were available early. 300ish room courtyard side which is only one floor up. Bit of noise from the other side of the hotel due to construction, but not noticeable in our room. Great air con or use the large windows. Shower very hot so you don’t need to set it too high. Bit more modern than my taste, but grows on you and not garish colours. Easy tram ride to the old town for site seeing or take a stroll along the river beside the part. Wonderful gardens. Breakfast is plentiful and can be chaos in the morning when there are three groups in the hotel. Suggestion: Move the centre aisle of tables half a foot to the left so the the aisle on the right when you face the food is a bit larger. Use the first table on the right for the bowls and plates. Helps out those that are shorter. The people flow is better when it is right to left since the coffee machines are on the left. We did this flow the last day in the hotel with our group and it was less congested at the coffee.

Elegant, older, well maintained, albeit a bit dated, the hotel is located directly across the street from the Zurich main train station and trolleys. If, as we did, you want to be within easy walking distance of the train station this is a great location. If you want to be in a very quiet location on or close to the lake, this is not where you want to stay. There is a small grocery store in the underground passageway to the train station. The hotel common areas are well-maintained, and it has a small bakery and bar that serves a very good dinner. There is a separate restaurant space on the second floor that only serves breakfast, and the food and the staff are excellent and it’s fairly priced. However, the hotel does not have a conventional restaurant. The lobby and rooms are small by american standards, but very quiet and well-appointed, have a good bed and the bathroom has a bath/shower combo with very good water pressure (and air conditioning). The small electric refrigerator in the room was set up as a mini-bar, but it was ok to remove the bottles. It does not get very cold. We were upgraded to a small suite with a sitting room, so I don’t know what a standard room would be like. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. There did not appear to be a concierge. The hotel allowed us to check-out 2 hours later, which we appreciated. All in all, a very good hotel for the price. However, if you’re looking for a very high-end american-style hotel, this may not be for you, but you should expect to pay two to three times more for those hotels

H+ is a comfortable, modern, well designed hotel with what you basically need and expect. Staff is professional, friendly and helpful. The location is acceptable, not in city centre, therefore less costly compared to quality. Trams downtown are right outside. Overall we are satisfied. What we liked; • Nice comfortable, clean room with OK space (glad we chose the king size) • Nice bathroom with standard amenities • Very quiet with windows closed, You hear trams and traffic if you open towards street • Very good breakfast with excellent swiss products • OK if basic evening bar/snack service What we liked less; • Somewhat cumbersome wifi access (although it worked) • A broken toilet seat that pinched the behind (!) it was not fixed during our stay because we only compalined the last day; strange we had to report this ourselves, • A poor old TV/cable, where several channels like CNN mostly did not show or pixelized Other to note: • No fridge in room • Sunday there was a big local soccer match in the stadium across the street. Tram service was disrupted for over two hours around end of match. Hotel could have informed guests, we wasted much time and then more time + money on a cab • A sauna/wellness area is available, we did not try it. All in all we liked the arrival, welcome and first days better than the last ones.

My family and I had a very comfortable two-night stay at the hotel. The staff was very courteous and accommodating. We had arrived in Zurich after a long haul flight from India and they graciously offered us early check-in. The hotel is just a short distance from the airport and there’s a tram stop very close to the hotel, that connects you to the rest of the city. There’s also a Coop store nearby, in case you need anything. The a la carte food at the hotel was good, the breakfast buffet though was average. The rooms are basic, but not lacking in anything.

My partner chose one of the corner rooms on the 9th floor for our two day stay in Zurich. Excellent views across the city. Lots of space for two people to enjoy a few days. Incredibly comfortable bed, great walk-in shower as well as all regular amenities from air conditioning to wifi. Breakfast was perfect and plentiful with all the usual cooked or continental options at your disposal. Staff were excellent checking in & out and with queries (how hte hell do we open these windows) and the provision of ice late at night (its not what you think!) Easy access to main Trams that take you into town centre/train stations but they also have push bikes and electric scooters for those that want them (we didn't^t avail as we wanted to stroll) Also for those that have to work - great business lounge on each floor All-in-All a 10 outta 10 experience making my first trip to Zurich a wonderful and memorable one.

Great and easy check in. Watt and Derrick were very helpful with the check in and info about Zurich. Loved the complimentary drinks at check in. Compact room but very modern with cool amenities. We stayed here for 2 nights for the Coldplay concert and it was the perfect Zurich hotel. Super central, great rooms, great restaurants, great breakfast and great staff. Special mention to Peter and Gribo who looked after us very well on our first night at dinner and to Filippo who absolutely spoilt us with his very kind and attentive service when we got back from the concert and thought the bar and restaurant were shut, Filippo rescued our night! Sympathisches , modernes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. ( besonders Frau Preyer am Empfang) . Wir hatten einen Upgrade für eine Junior Suite im 6. Stock mit tollen , riesigen Fenstern, einem großen Bad mit Badewanne, Toilette getrennt, Ankleideraum und viiiel Platz! Die Lounge ist supergemütlich im 10.Stock mit guter Getränkeauswahl . Snacks waren immer vorhanden und das Essen das serviert wurde war reichlich und gut! Wir hatten die Wahl 1000 Punkte oder Frühstück im großen Frühstücksraum einzunehmen und haben uns für das superleckere Frühstück entschieden. Das Personal war schnell und umsichtig und meine Eggs Benedikt waren perfekt! Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb aber die S-Bahn Station ist gleich gegenüber. Das 24h Ticket kostet etwa 8 € und gilt auch für das öffentliche Boot auf dem See und Fluss. Empfehlenswertes, sympathisches Haus! Gerne wieder!

Possibly the only worst hotel in the Accor chain. They advertise their rooms to be air conditioned but they are not. They have an aircon panel in their room and a vent but they don’t work, most likely switched off centrally. When you ask they give you the run around: “it works” “city banned air conditioning in hotels” “change a room” but nope. It simply doesn’t work. Now, this weren’t a massive issue in autumn,spring etc but in a summer heatwave (33C) when a room is 25-26C then asking it be conditioned to an eco friendly 22C should not be an issue in a hotel that rates itself 4*. But it is. That’s the issue. This is a 3*property charging 4*prices. Apartments are also small -slightly bigger than their rooms in Ibis. But this is Zurich. I reckon Accor should reclass this as 3* slight lower the price to reduce the complaints. This hotel is after all the same as the ibis (it is the same building) the only difference is “apartment” having a desk and a kitchenette

No idea what the previous reviewer was talking about, I stayed in May 2022 and it was great! To break it down- Location/amenities: It is ideally located right next to tram/bus stops, walking distance from city centre and ＜30min from airport via public transport. V.close to the water with beautiful views across the city/mountains. There is a luxury gym at an extra daily cost of 15CHF. It is slightly tired in terms of furnishings, but nothing is broken or dirty in any way, it's just not super modern. If you're looking for a high end super fancy hotel, then maybe pay more to go elsewhere (though Zurich is a very expensive city). Room: I had a double comfort room- it was absolutely huge. The bathroom had a v.powerful shower (Zurich water is super soft), decent hairdryer, and apparently eco-friendly toiletries (though unclear how they were eco-friendly, all in small plastic bottles). The room has loads of storage, mirrors, TV (no English channels), a coffee table, 2 chairs and a desk. The bed was 2 single beds pushed together, so this may not suit couples. There is an option to have your mattress adjusted via air pressure to change the hard/softness of it to suit your preferences. There was a mini fridge and a coffee machine with compostable coffee pods, and they happily provided me a kettle when I asked. Breakfast: Ideal for me- a cold buffet of fresh fruits, cheeses, meats, croissants, rolls/bread, spreads, cereals/muesli, yoghurts, pastries, juices. There is also a chef who will prepare you eggs/omelettes to order. Large selection of teas and coffees. They also provided me with plant milk upon request. It is served from 6.30-10 on weekdays, which may be a little early for some, and 7-11 on weekends. Staff: All whom I encountered were exceptional. Particularly the lady who checked me in and gave me my key each evening, and the gentleman who runs the breakfast service. Kind, personable and professional, perfect English. They were available 24/7, and responded to any query I had immediately and helpfully. Recommended! :)

Although this hotel belongs to a hotel chain, our stay was perfect. The situation is very close to the Bahnhofstrasse (near to the LV store). The staff was flexible and managed everything to be convenient and pleasant for us. The room was clean, well appointed. The bed was extremely comptable (very rare in hotels in general). Also, the breakfast was really appreciated, you get exactly what you expect in a hotel : eggs, salmon, fresh exotic fruits, juices, breads, cheese, etc, etc. We recommend!

I would rate this hotel average . . . not bad, not great, but average. Staff is helpful and the area is totally safe, not far from public transportation. I did find the rooms to be very stuffy and warm despite their having advertised that air conditioning was available. Fortunately, the windows could be opened and it cooled off at night so I was able to get some sleep with that and a borrowed fan. My rate didn't include breakfast so I can't comment on the food. Room keys are unique, big heavy ones that are designed to be left at the front desk when you leave the hotel, apparently. I was fine with that, one less thing to hold onto during my travels around town (photo below).

The hotel is located in the old city of Zurich, in a good location, right next to the Grissmunster cathedral, across the street from the Limmat river, and convenient to every location in the old city. It is a 15-minute walk from the central railway station, and can also take 2 light rail stations. The hotel is extremely close to main train station which is convenient for an early train the next day. Staff is polite and helpful. We walked to the city centre so there should be no issue of you wish to save a couple of bucks on transport. Free mini bar is a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed the drinks inside. However, there is not enough storage space of more days are intended. The shower is only separated with glass door hence not really suitable for friends and in some situation family.

I am with please want to leave positive review for this hotel. Very good location concerning with the beach, malls, main roads. Hotel have a wonderful amenities: nice gym ( I am trainer, I know it), restaurants with buffet and good menu, perfect open space with big pool included umbrellas, sunbeds and sittings for enjoying. There are a lot of amenities for sport: basketball, football, game zones etc. And a big area for the children with equipment. I think this hotel is the best if compare with this amenities and price for that. Amazing front desk management, always positive and helpful. Perfect housekeeping, clean bed linen, it was very important for me. Big thankful I wanted to say to Azhar, he is amazing, very professional and very very kind. (good luck bro). Highly recommended!

Perfect establishment we have gotten the two bedroom apartment it was spotless and top notch room service. We stayed 3 days at Sheraton with a baby. The hotel has a great central location, perfect beach and very green big territory perfect for walking. We enjoyed their great service, overall the staff was very helpful, kind and indeed exceeded all our expectations. Many thanks also to Mr. Shiva Bovas, who was making our stay very special, comfortable and pleasant. Worst service you will ever have. We asks for a manager to assist us and requesting for consideration as we book to meet up with friends. They didn't allow us to come up in the room. As per the guy that talk to us. His name is Tony and seems his approach to us is more than a hotel security and he react all the time during the conversation instead of responding. His rude also the way he talk to us maybe because we're Asian that's why he doesn't even show any professional approach and instead of explaining nicely. His trying to show that we don't know anything. And telling us that all the rules is written on the paper that sign of our friends that come first to the hotel and insisting that, we should go through the whole thing while our friends are rush to sign in the reception and not being told of the timing. Considering that we booked the hotel through platform and there was none being mentioned that we cannot come up late at night even though, we booked the hotel untill the following day.
