Hotel Corona is in a perfect location. Maybe a 5 minute walk to the train station. Very close to several restaurants and hiking trails. The pool area is fabulous. There are chairs in the sun and shade and the pool was immaculate.
The a/c struggled to keep up but, Italy is experiencing a heat wave as well as the rest of Europe.

Abbiamo soggiornato per la prima volta all'hotel Corona. La struttura é decisamente da ristrutturare in tutti i suoi ambienti. Abbiamo dormiti bene senza rumori. La stanza era sufficientemente grande cosi come il bagno. La colazione un po' limitata. Prodotti senza glutine non ne abbiamo visti. Pulizia delle parti comuni da rivedere. Esiste anche una piscina ma non avevamo il necessario per approfittarne.

We have been occasional weekend guests in the past. In view of the hiatus of the past year imposed by the pandemic we would have expected guests to be warmly greeted now that they are getting back to normal business. Despite the unfortunate name of the hotel. The cheerless reception we had experienced before has become even more sour. A late evening arrival due to missed train connections did not meet with any comprehension when we asked for assistance to find a late evening meal. It would not take much for them to make a call or two as well as arrange for the luggage to be taken up to the room after a tiring journey. Rooms are OK and good location, but hospitality is not what they excel in.
