Grant Street Inn

This was a true find. I can only say positive things about the Grant Street Inn. Everything was perfect and would have no hesitation in staying here again or recommending it to others

One and done After reading other reviews I really had high hope for this place. I agree with others the rooms are spacious and the bed was comfy, but that was it. They really need to pay more attention to the details. There is more than enough room to provide more amenities. There was only one chair in the room and room for at least another. A luggage rack or bench at the end of the bed would be a welcome extra. There was no where to put your luggage and had to unpack from the floor. Not what I’d expect from a room in this price range. There was no closet, only a small wardrobe with 2 hangers. The AC in our room was so loud it kept us up all night. The balcony outside was a nice touch but the chairs are located right next to the loud AC unit so no atmosphere when using the balcony. The biggest disappointment was with the management. The next morning we went thru the lobby to go to breakfast. Unbeknownst to use the cleaning crew had just mopped the marble tile and I slipped and fell flat on my back. There was no sign out to warn people that the floor was wet. Who mops the floor without a sign, during peak hours when people are going to breakfast and checking out? I was laying there on the ground and the front desk clerk and cleaning person were more concerned about getting their sign out than they were about me. We asked to speak to the manager but were only given his name. It was very disappointing to say the least, manger never even contacted us to see if I was okay.
