Cute, spacious, clean.. I could go on and on. The couple that own and run it are very helpful and nice. The cabins are clearly newly renovated with care and taste. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. (Including the big hotel). Go visit the big hotel. But stay the night here.

Situated close to East Glacier village, this small and well-kept site was ideal for checking out Glacier National Park. My cottage had a sitting area, microwave and fridge, bathroom and bedroom. It had everything I needed for a 3 night stay. It was clean, everything worked (apart from the WiFi which was a bit on/off) and it was lovely and quiet both day and day night. It was startling to turn cold but the bedroom had an efficient heater when needed. The owner was super friendly and helpful and an interesting guy to chat to. East Glacier is a short walk or quick drive away. It has a trading post that includes a delicatessen, at least two restaurants and a gas station, plus some other businesses I didn’t check out. The Mexican was the pick of the restaurants but it gets busy almost as soon as it opens - they operate a waitlist when they are full. Overall I highly recommend Jacobson’s Cottages as a base for visiting the beautiful Glacier National Park

Though the cottages aren't particularly attractive on the outside, they have been redone, and are very comfortable and clean on the inside. We were 2 couples traveling together, and we stayed 4 nights. One couple stayed in a single room with queen bed, and we stayed in a queen bedroom with separate sitting area, that was great for the 4 of us to hang out. The outside of the cottages also had a variety of seating areas. I, nor my husband, did not meet Susan, but we did spend a lot of time talking with Erik, and he was friendly and helpful with suggestions. They do provide locally ground coffee, and real plates, bowls, cups, wine glasses and flatware, which get collected and cleaned each day, as well as trash emptied. Towels were replaced after 2 days In response to a recent review, Erik did pop out to talk with us, each time we returned from an outing, though we never ventured out later at night, as the other reviewer did. I think he is just being protective of his property, and he wants to make sure that those who stay at his property are behaving appropriately, and that all guests have a good experience. We really enjoyed our time there, and I would definitely recommend, for anyone needing a place to stay in East Glacier.

Cottage was very nice, very clean and beds comfortable with nice linens. Erik, owner, was very helpful and friendly. He gave us lots of good information. Liked staying at East Glacier, very close to the big lodge. Good value. Everything was just like it was advertised.

My husband and I spent our anniversary here at Jacobson's Cottages while exploring the East side of Glacier National Park. Eric and Susan are wonderful hosts. The cottages are adorable. Inside they are totally renovated, sparkling clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. There was a teapot in the room and supplies to make a perfect cup of drip coffee or a cup of tea. There were also a few dishes and cups, microwave and small fridge so we could enjoy our PB&J sandwiches and fruit before heading out to hike. The cottage was quiet and had heat and A/C though we needed neither - nice cool nights for sleeping. Enjoyed sitting outside the cabin in the evening. Eric was eager to share information about the area and helped us find just the right hike. It was an easy drive to Two Medicine area (and no pass needed to enter the park there), St. Mary (also no pass needed) and just a bit farther to Many Glacier entrance.

Buyer Beware!! Went to visit my daughter and her boyfriend as they are working in Glacier National Park for the summer. We drove from the airport to Jacobson's and checked in. At check in I was told no guests on the property and no one could drive on the property unless staying there. Seemed extreme. I had visons of having the kids over for a glass of wine but was told they were not allowed on the property. What??? Because we had to park on the road, my daughter helped me carry my bags from the truck to the cabin. She was helping me get the bags into the cabin when the manager came over and told her she had to leave. Mind you, she had been there less than 10 minutes!!!! Next, he said whenever they pick you up for dinner or touring for the day they are NOT allowed to drive to your cabin to pick you up. They have to park on the street and they will have to call or text you to meet them at the road. Guess what, no cell service most of the time. Cabins were nice but this absurd level of "no one on the property except registered guests" went way too far!!!

We loved our stay at Jacobson’s Cottages during our visit this summer! Erik was generous with his time and gave us helpful tips to make our visit to Glacier successful. The room was very clean, had comfortable beds and the coffee that was provided was delicious. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Glacier.

Quite small as advertised, with no place for our clothes except a few hangers - no drawers or shelves. There were a few dishes available however no dish soap and it would have required washing them in the bathroom sink which was not too appealing. Good wifi & TV. Comfortable beds. Friendly informative hosts.

The cabins are immaculate and very well appointed. Beds are very comfortable with lovely linens. The rooms are quite large and have a nice size fridge. Great coffee maker and supplied with coffee and tea. A great place to stay near the park entrance. We used it as our home base for several days. The owners were fantastic, very accommodating and helped us with restaurant recommendations and bear spray.
