I recently booked two rooms for eight adults through Hotwire, expecting suitable accommodations based on the booking description. Upon arrival, I discovered that each room contained only a king bed and a double sofa bed, which was not sufficient for four adults per room. When I raised the issue with the front desk, I was told they couldn’t change the rooms, even though the hotel had availability. I then spoke with the manager, Dora Marin, who was not only unhelpful and very nasty but suggested we book an additional room at full price to accommodate everyone. Her response was unprofessional, and she ended the call abruptly when I tried to explain the situation. Adding to the frustration, one of the sofa beds had a stained mattress that appeared to be blood, which was completely unacceptable. After bringing this up, we were offered another room—again with a king bed—despite the hotel being nearly empty. Hotwire confirmed that the hotel wasn’t meeting the reservation terms and offered to assist with finding alternative accommodations or issuing a refund. Unfortunately, we were already settled in due to our early flight the next morning. The management here is unaccommodating, and the overall condition of the rooms is subpar. I would strongly advise looking for other options. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this hotel.
