DoubleTree by Hilton LAX - El Segundo Reviews

It’s not exactly close to the airport and the some staff were not so friendly while some were. There were weird visitors checking in that I wondered if they were on *****. but there wasn’t much noise and I had a good sleep overall bearable for a one night stay. Also hilton cookies yum as usual.

Spacious room. Very well kept. Had the tub in the bathroom and loved it. Only problem was there's no hotel shuttle to the airport.

Unfortunately I had to change rooms twice! The first room was next to a noisy ventilation/ac machine, I did not even unpack my case. The receptionist kindly moved me to another room, in fact it was more like an upgrade. I unpacked and I had half a pizza from early on. I had put it on the side next to the tv. I went to get a slice and the whole of the tops of the cabinets had ants all over it. I had to get out of that room. They gave me a complimentary breakfast for the next morning. They obviously have an ongoing problem because they have other reviews exactly the same as this.

It. Good place to stay close to everything the staff is great very helpful and the cookies where fantastic

Overall not good experience. I can always smell smoke, I even found others’ water bottle and underwear under the bed. I was skeptical whether they have really done the cleanings or not…… speechless…….

Fine hotel. Nothing special or fancy, a decent place to sleep between flights. The only complaint would be no shuttle to and from airport, so it cost ~ $50 for transport back and forth from LAX

It was convenient because it is really close to the airport and also there are an supermarket and bus stops. Only thing I was not satisfied was that shower was cold.

Best place to stay with the best service. I got 4 cookies when i arrived. And another 2 cookies in the morning. The staff gave us nearest lobby park area because we arrived in a mid night. Good service!!!! Love it

The Hotels it’s ok if you are thinking in a value choice around the LAX Airport

I knew from check in this wasn’t going to be a great nor good stay like I’ve had at previous hotels. Nothing good to say about my experience & I wouldn’t recommend booking at this location. P.S. I forgot to take a picture of the two dirty used towels that were in both dressers by the bed that the previous guest left when I got into my room.

This was the worst Double Tree I've ever stayed at. No extra linens, pillows, or towels available when requested. LAPD showed up to yell at the hotel about not taking their security seriously and fixing their cameras. Staff openly bickering with each other. This was definitely a "Troubled Tree". Do not recommend. Only value is that it is in safe neighborhood nearby the airport.

Nice new furniture and TV's....Staff is incredibly nice and friendly!!!

The front desk is helpful

The room is not very clean and the elevator is weird, everything else is good!!!
