Magnifique château en centre-ville de Falaise superbement décoré par le maitre des lieux. L'accueil est très chaleureux, Charles est ravi de recevoir et n'est pas avare de détails sur l'histoire de son castel Déco 18e siècle très soignée, chaque objet a été choisi avec beaucoup de goût. Grande chambre de la Fresnaye très confortable, et literie parfaite pour passer une très bonne nuit. La vue depuis la chambre La Fresnay donne sur le parc, avec de magnifiques couleurs en cette saison. Le petit déjeuner est fait avec des produits locaux et servi dans de la porcelaine ancienne, ce qui ajoute au charme de la rotonde

This is an amazing property dating from 1790 with beautiful antique furniture and original features. Charles, the owner, is charming and welcoming. The bedroom was beautifully decorated and furnished with views over the adjacent parkland. Off street parking was available and the hotel is in central Falaise so convenient for the local amenities and museums and Castle.

We had a wonderful stay in this unique hotel. We were surprised and thrilled to have the experience of a stay in an exquisite historical building with authentic classical furniture. There was also a collection of classical paintings and the furniture felt like we were living in a royal palace. La chambre de Marquis was opulently decorated and furnished, The breakfast experience was also charmingly exceptional. We found the breakfast ready waiting for us in a salon a filled with beautiful furniture and with sounds of classical music in background. We would love to stay here again.

We had a warm welcome from Charles who showed us around the beautiful building and told us about the history, he was also very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and local attractions. We stayed for two night in the Suite de La Rotonde which was amazing. Our suite was so comfortable, tastefully decorated and with a modern bathroom. There is secure off street parking if you have a car. Breakfast each morning was fabulous, served by Charles in the dining room which set us up for the day. Falaise has a lot of history to discover including William the Conquerers Castle but it is also close to Bayeux and the Normandy Coast which I would recommend visiting. I would definitely recommend staying here, we really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect! Excellent location. Falaise is a great place to stay while visiting the D-Day beaches (you don’t have to content with the crowds there). In addition, William The Conqueror’s castle is a 3 minute walk from the hotel. Castel Saint-Leonard is the place to stay. Charles was accommodating, helpful with restaurant recommendations and a perfect host. Our room, the Suite de la Rotonde was amazing, adorable, comfortable all at the same time! Our room was extremely quiet and the view from the room were wonderful. Parking is a breeze and right there.
