Very quirky hotel. We have stayed here before 9 years ago..so we knew what the hotel was like. Our room was quite small only enough room for one suitcase, bathroom also lacked space to put your wash bag etc. It was really clean and a lovely view from our room..we seen a seal in the water from our bedroom. The room was clean and the breakfast was very good. Staff were very nice.

We stayed here on our ring road trip. The hotel is in a beautiful location and our room was right on the water with a lovely little balcony which was perfect for watching the Nothern Lights from ! Lovely breakfast and all of the staff we met were very friendly and helpful.

Gorgeous location, lovely hotel all round. The room was quiet, spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was great. We also enjoyed a happy hour beer on arrival, with the most spectacular view of the fjord. Staff were helpful and friendly as well.

We stayed here while in the Eastfjords on our Ring Road trip. It's right on the water, in the middle of a fjord, and the scenery is beautiful. The rooms are very quiet and our rooms on the first floor had porches to sit out on and enjoy the scenery. The hotel is a bit old but is clean. We also ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was very good with generous portions for Iceland. Breakfast was solid.

Hotel was in several buildings in a beautiful setting. The rooms were clean, there was a great restaurant with super service and food. I would recommend the hotel to visitors. I walked around the town,. The sunset and sunrise were gorgeous.

We loved the location of the hotel. The staff at the reception was really nice. The rooms where a bit small but definetly worth a visit. The view is breathtaking! Breakfast was overall also good but the staff there always seemed a bit annoyed and most of the time they weren't even in the room. We one time had a small issue with the breakfast but had to wait for 15 min for someone to come and fix it. Sometimes it smells a lot like fish around the hotel, which is pretty normal in a fjord i guess. This was never an issue in the rooms though you only had to be careful when to open your window. ;)
