This hotel is nestled by the riverside and boasts a cozy Chinese-style lobby. The staff were helpful in guiding us through our travels. However, the morning tranquility was disrupted by a noisy travel boat at 6:30 am, which was quite frustrating for those seeking a lazy holiday. Additionally, contacting them in advance for airport transfers is necessary, as Trip.com messages went unanswered. Getting an online taxi proved challenging. Furthermore, the bathroom drainage was poor, and we encountered mosquitoes and insects in the room.

Wonderful experience. The location is just perfect, very close from the main attractions, yet very calm. The room was clean, beautiful and comfortable, with a balcony with view on the river.. just so beautiful. Besides, the hosts are so nice and helpful, very welcoming. We just felt at home and this place is one of the reason why we loved so much Fenghuang. Highly recommended!!

Great location at the entrance of the old town where cars are still allowed. We booked a terrace room overlooking the river which was lovely and spacious however bathroom is a dated and requires a bit of a renovation. Staff was lovely and would overall recommend this place.

We booked 2 rooms type, one with terrace facing River view and the other facing street Overall was great but the River view toilet has bad smell and floor dirty upon checking in

We had a great stay and the staff really made the experience special. We are vegetarian, and finding food in China can be really difficult but they made sure to give us options at breakfast and dinner. It's in a perfect spot in Fenghuang, a short but beautiful walk along the river to get to the main part of the town, but far enough away to avoid the noise at night. Great view from the balcony. The hotel interior and rooms are wonderful. A point to note is that there is some building work going on next door but it didn't bother us too much.

For a self-driving tour, I specially booked Yunlu, which has a parking space. The decoration is the Chinese style I like. The service of the young man is warm and thoughtful. The breakfast is very rich and the presentation is exquisite. The quality is reflected everywhere. I recommend it!

Ten years later, I went to Fenghuang Ancient Town for the second time and stayed at Yunjie's B&B. The difference is that Yunjie upgraded the B&B to be very high-end. The four of us booked two rooms, one with a river view and one ordinary room. Any photo taken in the store is a blockbuster. There is also Gobang to play. The children like it! The whole B&B is ancient and there are many books for you to choose from. The breakfast rice noodles are especially delicious, and the fruits are different every day. The environment in the store is clean and sanitary. I recommend everyone to stay

The hotel environment is clean and not noisy. There are many books in the lobby. You can rest and read in the lobby when you are tired. There is a beautiful scenery by the Tuojiang River. In addition, I must give a thumbs up to the hotel's map. The hotel's own map of Fenghuang Ancient City is very large and every place is marked very clearly. The boss is very nice to tell the tour route. The eight scenic spots plus the night tour did not go wrong. You can visit them all by following the route. On the way, people kept asking me where I bought the map? The breakfast is very rich, clean and hygienic, and the rice noodles are very good. Overall good reviews! It is a mid-to-high-end homestay in Fenghuang.

The room is very large and I am very satisfied with it. It looks super nice as shown in the picture below. Because we arrived too early, the front desk staff gave us a free upgrade, allowing us to check in early to relieve the fatigue of the journey. They also gave us a super large and super detailed map of the ancient city for free and patiently explained the tour route. When I took it out outside, many people asked me where I bought such a good map!

For a good B&B, hardware facilities and equipment are just the foundation. Good service plus careful and detailed decoration. Every scene and every old object has traces to follow and stories to tell.
