Wyndham Garden Madison Fitchburg

Great stay. Everything was super. Great location and easy to access. Good breakfast. Staff very friendly.

Great place for a central location to many sites in the area. The zoo, botanical gardens and UWM are very drives from the hotel.

Don't stay here, the place is a dump. The shower door has bad signs of corrosion. The hotel room furniture is like a rigid uncomfortable office chair you might find in a food stamp office. Both treadmills are broken and the fitness center is like the size of a closet. Similarly, the breakfast area is too small for the number of guests; you have to try to squeeze by other tables to get to yours and good luck trying to get any food, which is mostly processed items. The hotel is far from everything in Madison and forget about even having a cup of hot tea in the lobby when you get back because the personnel never bother to check the temp. I think this has to be the worst Wyndham I have stayed in despite it's supposed high acclaim.

The hotel is a bit dated, but meets all necessary needs. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was awesome! There are a few restaurants and a food store that are walkable from the hotel. There is free breakfast (but I didn't go, so I cannot speak to the offerings).

I was in Madison from out of town because a family member was at the University Hospital. The hospital offered a discount rate at a hotel near the hospital. I thought I could do better with my Wyndham Rewards program. I searched on the app and found this new hotel. What a gem! What a treat to have a Wyndham Garden Hotel in a moderate market. The drive to and from the hospital was easy. I booked using Wyndham Rewards points. The cost was so low that even the front desk staff double-checked. (Being a Wyndham Rewards member does make a difference.) The room was enormous; It could have been an entire apartment. Everything was spotless. Several state student competitions were being held at this time, and the hotel was filled with delightful energetic young people...and my room was completely quiet. This is a great hotel. I will stay here if I am ever in the Madison area again.

Folks, I would like to hear from you if you actually had a good experience at this establishment. The room is old and smelly, food was terrible, the "Business Center" and "Computer Center" are a joke, they just put those on their website, wait til you see it: One old printer and it was broken. Super shady neighborhood, and management was equally shady so watch your final bill. The staff however were super, extremely helpful and friendly.

The family loved the pool and hot tub. Love that there was a good pizza place walking distance.
