I booked to stay one night with my father. Their staff are so amazing they changed the room immediately as my father could not walk too many stairs. So I would like to say their staff and hospitality is top notch.
The room was really nice however there was a sound that came from the kitchen exhaust which was like a generator. So until the kitchen shut at 10pm this noise was there. This is the only negative part of my stay. The other suggestion I have is to have some room to do exercises or games room or something.
Its an amazing property. Loved it.

The experience has been fantastic starting from reception, room ambience, room view of Kanchanjaga, fingerling food and serving. The mindset of hospitality has given us the lifetime memory. Great hotel and an excellent restaurant and Mr Sudip ( F/B manager) was out standing customer service Great location of the the hotel and easy access to MG Rd Feels like living in British Raj Beautiful place to be with the family holidays All staff are courageous and professional

Great historic hotel in Gangtok
Really lovely and historic hotel in downtown Gangtok. The hotel feels like a living museum with the art, artifacts, and architecture. The staff were wonderful and friendly. Overall, a lovely stay.

Not worth the money. Does not feel like a personalized experience, no balcony. Staff is just doing the bare minimum

Avec beaucoup de charme, le jardin est magnifique, la salle de dîner, la réception et le bar sont très authentique, le service est très attentif.
attention pas de chauffage ou d’air conditionné par respect pour le lieu
Point négatif: literie très ferme, les objets en plastique bon marché pour porte savon ou plateau pour la théière…

You will be mesmerized by the beautiful location & view of the property.The manager,Mr.Basudev goes out of the way to make you feel comfortable.Rooms are very spacious & all the staff are very warm with their service.
