I asked for extra bedding to be put in my room when I booked, as I have a bad back sometimes I sleep on the floor it was not,the hotel was so cold I waited downstairs for my room to heat up all night which was Very cold as well,a girl screaming ruined our nice evening,something or someone was screaming outside our window all night my husband had bad asthma attack due to the coldness night,the stairs were not clean or hoovered uncomfortable mattress paid for breakfast which was cold ,staff was very friendly and kind

We were 2 couples staying the night before our flight from Gatwick,it was absolutely fantastic a friendly welcome with easy parking,we had a lovely meal in tge hotel restaurant and the food and service was excellent,our rooms were very clean and quiet so we had a good rest before a early start. On returning we were again welcomed and had coffee in the beautiful gardens before our journey home,would definitely recommend and will return again.

Long story short, I needed to check some things before I booked, including potential 1am arrival. On 9th July I rang three times - no answer. So I emailed them. On 21st July they responded. Am I likely to book a room and rely on being able to access it at 1am? No.

Hotel was very clean and well decorated, great location for our needs. A bit of a maze of hallways and stairs to the rooms. Food was good, but expensive for what it was and and also the bar was over priced.

Wow a stunning location with an incredible hotel and beautiful grounds offering a perfect fly and park option before your holiday is highly recommended. Used this hotel twice and both times was easy to find a space and enjoyed a great room. We were on the first floor this time and though not as memorable as the newly refurbished room on the 2nd floor the previous year it still has everything you need to relax before the following days flight

We needed a place to stay close to Gatwick that offered parking whilst we were away. What a find! We used to stay at another facility a couple of miles away but it was taken over a few years ago and the prices were creeping up but the standards were going down. This venue is not only located in beautiful grounds, but the rooms are extremely clean and comfortable and perfect for pre and post holiday stay. It’s an impressive building and has a lot of character. The added bonus of an on site bar and restaurant also made it a great choice. Reception will happily book a taxi for your transfer to the airport (which at the time of writing this cost £19.50 ) Due to the time of our return flight to the Uk, we checked that the Reception would be manned but was told that if we were later than 11pm we would receive a text message with a keysafe code which would give us access to our room key and that is exactly what happened. Perfect. We were able to have a good nights sleep and wake up, have a cup of coffee and shower before heading home. The rooms used for these types of stay are really good. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom facilities are good with lovely towels and hand wash and shower gel. There is a kettle with tea and coffee and also bottles of water. There is also a hairdryer. Will definitely continue to use as part of our holiday experience when flying from Gatwick.
