The hotel is clean, food is reasonably good. Very comfortable to stay in after a long day.

Our Aircon was not working, so happily we were moved to another room, we did not get to return to the room we paid for. The room was advertised as Smoking Permitted but on arrival this was not the case and had not been for 4 years. We paid a high price for this room, and I had located 4 other Hotels, this was disappointing. The staff and Manager were very helpful and ordered Taxi's for us this was appreciated. Breakfast was supplied by a Restaurant down the road and not at the Hotel, there was a disparity between what we paid for breakfast at the Hotel and the Cost at the Restaurant. There was quite a bit of Traffic Noise. We enjoyed our stay, but not Penang due to social rules, for tourists on holiday.

The service for room cleaning is bad, otherwise 👍🏻.

Nice hotel

good location but the room is smelly, old and dirty, the bedsheet is smelly.

Was a last minute booking and when we arrived the Receptionist ( Chinese ) was not so helpful and she has no hospitality attitude at all, The room smells, The Light was not working the bed was hard the A/Cond goes hey wire by itself, The up-keeping of the place interior was not that good need a small refurbishing. Only one thing made my stay ok which was the overnight receptionist ( Indian Gal ) was very helpful as she even pass me the mosquito spray as I went down complaining about mosquito in room. Will not use this hotel near the future unless desperate.

In Penang, close to the Royal Thai Consulate, the Waterfall Hotel proved to be ideal, surrounded by shops and other facilities, including a reasonably priced local food, and a noodle shop that opened early for breakfast. The room is very clean, with hard floors, simple facilities, a refrigerator, air conditioning and a small TV. The wireless network signal is stable. The manager and staff were professional and pleasant, but not sure if all hotels in Penang require a refund of the "key deposit" which is a sales tax imposed by the government, meaning you get your deposit back but no tax is charged. The Falls Hotel is really a perfect hotel for a quick visa from Thailand and is reasonably priced.
